Recently, remarkable progress has been achieved in single image super-resolution using methods based on CNN and Transformer architectures. However, existing approaches often construct a substantial number of network layers, leading to a significant increase in performance requirement and memory consumption, thereby limiting the practical deployment and usability of the models. To address this issue, we propose an Alternating CNN Transformer Block and an Integrative CNN Efficient Transformer for single image super-resolution. We enhance feature extraction efficiency by combining CNN within and between Transformer modules. In addition, we propose two novel structures: Multi-branch Gated CNN and Parallel Channel Attention, aiming to efficiently extract local spatial information and global channel information from images. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our model achieves high performance while maintaining low model complexity. The proposed model attains PSNR values of 32.32 and 30.78 for the Set5 and Manga109 benchmark datasets, respectively, at a scale factor of ×4. Compared to other lightweight super-resolution models, our proposed model outperforms them at lower computational costs. Stackelberg-Game Computation Offloading Scheme for Parked Vehicle-Assisted VEC and Experiment Analysis

Vehicle edge computing (VEC) offers users low-latency and high-reliability services by using computational resources at the network's edge. Nevertheless, because of inadequate infrastructure and limited resources, computation-intensive and delay-sensitive vehicle applications cannot be performed efficiently at the edge. Therefore, several studies have used the idle resources of parked vehicles to assist in computation offloading. In this paper, we propose a parked vehicle-assisted vehicle edge computing architecture considering multi-agent collaboration, including intelligent vehicles and edge servers. Additionally, we propose a framework for a parallel Internet of Vehicles (IoV) utilizing computational experiment. The service provider is assigned the role of owning VEC resources and recruiting parking vehicle resources. The model was constructed by using the resource consumption-service relationship of both offloading parties to ensure service quality. First, a Stackelberg game model was constructed based on the interaction between requesting vehicles and a service provider. The latter was the leader, and the requesting vehicles were the followers. The Nash equilibrium for optimal pricing and offloading allocations was attained and verified, and a distributed gradient-based equilibrium algorithm was designed to solve the Stackelberg game model and obtain the final decision through mutual communication. The method also protects the privacy of participants and respects the willingness of requesting vehicles to offload. Finally, the simulation experiments confirmed that the proposed algorithm can achieve game equilibrium. Furthermore, it outperformed state-of-the-art algorithms in improving the service provider's utility. IEEE

Because robotic milling has become an important means for machining significant large parts,obtaining the structural frequency response function(FRF)of a milling robot is an important basis for machining process ***,because of its articulated serial structure,a milling robot has an enormous number of operating postures,and its dynamics are affected by the motion *** accurately obtain the FRF in the operating state of a milling robot,this paper proposes a method based on the structural modification *** the traditional excitation method,the proposed method uses robot joint motion excitation instead of hammering excitation to realize *** address the problem of the lack of information brought by motion excitation,which leads to inaccurate FRF amplitudes,this paper derives the milling robot regularization theory based on the sensitivity of structural modification,establishes the modal regularization factor,and calibrates the FRF *** to the commonly used manual hammering experiments,the proposed method has high accuracy and reliability when the milling robot is in different *** the measurement can be performed directly and automatically in the operation state,and the problem of inaccurate amplitudes is solved,the proposed method provides a basis for optimizing the machining posture of a milling robot and improving machining efficiency.

In this paper, we consider the near-lossless compression of two distinct but independent binary random sources U and V, both of which are asymmetrical independent and identically distributed (i.i.d.) sources. In particular, V is assumed to be sparser than U. We show that, to efficiently compress U and V, explicit source coding (compression) for V (the sparser one) is not required. The basic idea is to encode U with an error-correction code and then superimpose V on the codeword. Hence, only one encoder-decoder pair (EDP) suffices to compress two sources. Theoretical analysis shows that the proposed coding scheme is entropy-approaching in terms of bit-error rate (BER) of both sources, and numerical results verify our analysis. Furthermore, we analyze the complexity of compression using the block Markov superposition transmission-repetition (BMST-R) codes to discuss the advantage of the proposed scheme. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme compresses the two sources simultaneously in a more compact way but causes no performance degradation. © 2024 IEEE.

The alarming prevalence and mortality rates associated with cardiovascular diseases have emphasized the urgency for innovative detection *** methods,often costly,bulky,and prone to subjectivity,fall short of meeting the need for daily *** and portable wearable monitoring devices have emerged as a promising research *** study introduces a wearable system that integrates electrocardiogram(ECG)and phonocardiogram(PCG)*** ingeniously pairing a contact-type PZT heart sound sensing structure with ECG electrodes,the system achieves the acquisition of high-quality ECG and PCG ***,the signal-to-noise ratios(SNR)for ECG and PCG signals were measured at 44.13 dB and 30.04 dB,respectively,demonstrating the system’s remarkable stability across varying *** collected signals were subsequently utilized to derive crucial feature values,including electromechanical delay(EMD),left ventricular ejection time(LVET),and pre-ejection period(PEP).Furthermore,we collected a dataset comprising 40 cases of ECG and PCG signals,enabling a comparative analysis of these three feature parameters between healthy individuals and coronary heart disease *** research endeavor presents a significant step forward in the realm of early,non-invasive,and intelligent monitoring of cardiovascular diseases,offering hope for earlier detection and more effective management of these life-threatening conditions.

Significant wave height forecasts integrating ensemble empirical mode decomposition with sequence-to-sequence model

Hybrid intrusion detection model based on a designed autoencoder

In recent years, deep learning techniques have been widely applied to network intrusion detection. However, current detection methods suffer from a low detection rate, rendering them useless in fighting unknown attacks. Thus, in this article, we proposed a hybrid detection system based on deep learning techniques. First, to understand comprehensively the pattern of normal network traffic and anomaly detection, a designed nonsymmetric autoencoder (NAE) is proposed. The NAE extracts the latent feature of network traffic with two different convolution neural networks and multiple linear layers are applied to the NAE’s decoder to reconstruct the input. Besides, a latent feature extraction scheme using the NAE encoder is proposed and a deep neural network (DNN) is trained with this latent feature to achieve detection. In addition, in order to strengthen system stability, a hybrid scheme is proposed that considers the detection results of NAE and DNN, and makes the comprehensive decision. Experiments are performed on the NSL-KDD, N-baIoT and BoT-IoT datasets respectively to evaluate the proposed hybrid model. The evaluation is carried out through classification evaluation indexes such as accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score. The results have shown that our proposed hybrid model gets the best detection ability of abnormal traffic compared with several state-of-the-art intrusion detection methods. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature.
