Enhanced Tube-Based Event-Triggered Stochastic Model Predictive Control With Additive Uncertainties

This paper proposes an event-triggered stochastic model predictive control for discrete-time linear time-invariant(LTI) systems under additive stochastic disturbances. It first constructs a probabilistic invariant set and a probabilistic reachable set based on the priori knowledge of system *** with enhanced robust tubes, the chance constraints are then formulated into a deterministic form. To alleviate the online computational burden, a novel event-triggered stochastic model predictive control is developed, where the triggering condition is designed based on the past and future optimal trajectory tracking errors in order to achieve a good trade-off between system resource utilization and control performance. Two triggering parameters σ and γ are used to adjust the frequency of solving the optimization problem. The probabilistic feasibility and stability of the system under the event-triggered mechanism are also examined. Finally, numerical studies on the control of a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning(HVAC) system confirm the efficacy of the proposed control.

Electrochemical nitrogen looping represents a promising carbon-free and sustainable solution for the energy transition,in which electrochemical ammonia oxidation stays at the central ***,the various nitrogen-containing intermediates tend to poison and corrode the electrocatalysts,even the state-of-the-art noble-metal ones,which is worsened at a high applied ***,we present an ultrarapid laser quenching strategy for constructing a corrosion-resistant and nanostructured CuNi alloy metallic glass *** this material,single-atom Cu species are firmly bonded with the surrounding Ni atoms,endowing exceptional resistance against ammonia corrosion relative of conventional CuNi ***,a record-high durability for over 300 h is *** quenching also allows a much higher Cu content than typical single-atom alloys,simultaneously yielding a high rate and selectivity for ammonia oxidation reaction(AOR).Consequently,an outstanding ammonia conversion rate of up to 95%is achieved with 91.8%selectivity toward nitrite after 8 *** simulations reveal that the structural amorphization of CuNi alloy could effectively modify the electronic configuration and reaction pathway,generating stable singleatom Cu active sites with low kinetic barriers for *** ultrarapid laser quenching strategy thus provides a new avenue for constructing metallic glasses with well-defined nanostructures,presenting feasible opportunities for performance enhancement for AOR and other electrocatalytic processes.

Improving aircraft nose wheel steering stability based on control continuation method

Aircraft steering instability during the taxiing process sometimes occurs resulting from the unstable bifurcation phenomena of the nonlinear steering dynamic system,which may lead to severe *** this study,the control parameter design of an aircraft nose wheel steering control system based on the control continuation method is proposed to reduce the number of unstable bifurcation points and enlarge the system stable region area in a certain parameter ***,the aircraft turning performance can be improved ***,a nonlinear aircraft rollout dynamic model is constructed,and the aircraft ground steering bifurcation characteristics are obtained under the open-loop steering control ***,the bifurcation performances under three closed-loop nose wheel steering controllers based on the feedback control method are compared,and the control parameter of the quadratic nonlinear controller with a better bifurcation control effect is selected as a second bifurcation parameter to analyze the directional system stability via two-parameter bifurcation ***,the influence of a crosswind on the aircraft ground steering bifurcation performance is studied for various control parameter ***,the control effects of a traditional proportional-integral-derivative(PID)nose wheel steering control law and the designed feedback controller are compared and ***,a semi-physical experiment of the aircraft nose wheel steering system is carried out,and different control parameter values are selected for test verification,which can further verify the control effect of the designed nonlinear feedback *** results indicate that the feedback control method is unable to vary the system bifurcation types,but appropriate control parameter design can effectively shrink the system instability region and even eliminate the unstable Hopf bifurcation points under some specific working conditions,improving the aircraft ground turning stability re

Aggregation-induced emission(AIE) is a unique phenomenon where certain organic materials exhibit enhanced luminescence in their aggregated states, overcoming the typical quenching observed in conventional organic materials. Since its discovery in 2001, AIE has driven significant advances in fields like OLEDs and biological imaging, earning recognition in fundamental research. However, its application in high-energy radiation detection remains underexplored. Organic scintillators, though widely used, face challenges such as low light yield and poor radiation attenuation. AIE materials offer promising solutions by improving light yield, response speed, and radiation attenuation. This review summarizes the design strategies behind AIE scintillators and their very recent applications in X-ray, γ-ray, and fast neutron detection. We highlight their advantages in enhancing detection sensitivity, reducing background noise, and achieving high-resolution imaging. By addressing the current challenges, we believe AIE materials will play a pivotal role in advancing future radiation detection and imaging technologies.

In order to support the optimal design of network information system, a modeling and timeliness evaluation method which can measure information transferring speed on kill chain of network information system is proposed. First, a hierarchical model of kill-chain-oriented network information system is described based on three elements which are task, entity and structure. And then the mathematical model of kill-chain-oriented network information system is given. With the models built, the information flowing process from sensor to shooter on a kill chain is analyzed in detail, and a timeliness evaluation method of kill-chain-oriented network information system is put forward. Through measuring the timeliness of architecture, this method can support the optimal design of network information system effectively. © 2023 IEEE.

The concept of biological gene is transferred to the field of command information system architecture, and the concept of command information system architecture gene is proposed. For networked and intelligent systems, the command information system architecture gene reference models are established, including resource gene model and resource relationship gene model, and 7 types of resource operation modes and 6 types of resource relationship modes are described abstractly. On this basis, a gene-based intelligent command information system architecture design process is proposed. Finally, a typical case is used to verify the guiding role of the architecture design method in the intelligent system construction. © 2023 IEEE.

Graph neural networks(GNNs)have achieved state-of-the-art performance on graph classification tasks,which aim to pre-dict the class labels of entire graphs and have widespread ***,existing GNN based methods for graph classification are data-hungry and ignore the fact that labeling graph examples is extremely expensive due to the intrinsic *** import-antly,real-world graph data are often scattered in different *** by these observations,this article presents federated collaborative graph neural networks for few-shot graph classification,termed *** its owned graph examples,each client first trains two branches to collaboratively characterize each graph from different views and obtains a high-quality local few-shot graph learn-ing model that can generalize to novel categories not seen while *** each branch,initial graph embeddings are extracted by any GNN and the relation information among graph examples is incorporated to produce refined graph representations via relation aggrega-tion layers for few-shot graph classification,which can reduce over-fitting while learning with scarce labeled graph ***,multiple clients owning graph data unitedly train the few-shot graph classification models with better generalization ability and effect-ively tackle the graph data island *** experimental results on few-shot graph classification benchmarks demonstrate the ef-fectiveness and superiority of our proposed framework.

Event Causality Identification (ECI) aims to detect causal relations between events in unstructured texts. This task is challenged by the lack of data and explicit causal clues. Some methods incorporate explicit knowledge from external knowledge graphs (KGs) into Pre-trained Language Models (PLMs) to tackle these issues, achieving certain accomplishments. However, they ignore that existing KGs usually contain trivial knowledge which may prejudice the performance. Moreover, they simply integrate the concept triplets, underutilizing the deep interaction between the text and external graph. In this paper, we propose an effective pipeline DFP, i.e., Distill, Fuse and Pre-train, to build a commonsense-aware pre-trained model which integrates reliable task-specific knowledge from commonsense graphs. This pipeline works as follows: (1) To leverage the reliable knowledge, commonsense graph distillation is proposed to distill commonsense graphs and obtain the meta-graph which contain credible task-oriented knowledge. (2) To model the deep interaction between the text and external graph, heterogeneous information fusion is proposed to fuse them through a commonsense-aware memory network. (3) Continual pre-training is proposed to further align and fuse the text and the commonsense meta-graph with three continual pre-training tasks. Unraveling environmental influences on the spatial and temporal dynamics of cyanobacterial blooms in Lake Erhai during its early stage of eutrophication

Lake Erhai,a lake in the early stage of eutrophication,has been threatened by algal blooms(particularly the overproliferation of blue-green algae),which can have an impact on drinking water safety and the lake's *** the governing factors of cyanobacterial blooms is critical for taking timely and effective action during this key eutrophication-transition ***,long-term records of cyanobacterial bloom and its key dominating factors remain *** is,therefore,essential to understand the bloom dynamics and the driving forces before any control strategies can be *** investigated the cyanobacterial phycocyanin concentration variability based on satellite observations from 2003 to 2019,by using the empirical orthogonal function *** observed a decrease in the coverage of the dominant mode of variability in phycocyanin magnitudes compared to the period 2003 to 2011,with variations primarily occurring in the northern *** largest variability was identified to be predominant in July,and an apparent timing shift in variability was observed in December 2016 and *** 95％quantile regression model indicated a distinct upper boundary response in cyanobacteria proliferation to the joint Total Nitrogen(TN)and Total Phosphorus(TP)concentrations,which occurred in summer from 2003 to *** apparent response of cyanobacterial bloom to TP was observed during the winters from 2016 to ***,water level and TN:TP ratio played a central role in summer from 2003 to 2011,while from 2016 to 2019,TN:TP ratio was found to dominate in the summer *** winter,air temperature turned out to be a significant modulating factor compared to water *** results suggest that implementing a phosphorus reduction strategy,while controlling TN:TP ratio and suitable water level manipulation,should be considered to ensure the sustainability of Lake Erhai,especially under a consistent global warming scenario.
