Buried interface bridging for inverted cesium-formamidinium triiodide perovskite solar cells with long operational stability

In the field of perovskite solar cells(PSCs),the research on defects in the buried interface has been relatively limited due to its non-exposure;however,this interface significantly impacts the performance enhancement of inverted *** study employs phenylethylammonium chloride(PEACl)molecules as a buffer layer to modify the buried interface of p-i-n structured PSCs,aiming to enhance the uniformity of self-assembled monolayers(SAMs)and facilitate the uniform nucleation and growth of perovskite films on the ***,the introduction of the PEACl buffer layer effectively passivates defects at the bottom of the perovskite layer and notably enhances the crystal quality of the perovskite film by mitigating residual stress,thereby reducing nonradiative recombination *** these optimizations,the MA-free PSCs treated with PEACl achieve a power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 24.11%,with significant improvements in storage,thermal stability,and operational *** noteworthy is the device's performance in an unencapsulated state,whereas after 1,500 hours of continuous light operation stability testing,it retains 97%of its original *** study not only enriches the systematic understanding of the characteristics of the buried interface in PSCs but also contributes significantly to advancing the commercial production of perovskite photovoltaic technology.

Towards more reliable evaluation in pedestrian detection by rethinking“ignore regions”

It remains a challenging task to detect pedestrians in crowds and it needs more efforts to understand why the detectors *** we perform an error analysis based on the traditional evaluation strategy,we find that it produces many misleading false positives,which in fact cover occluded *** reason for this is that we usually have two kinds of annotations in the dataset:regular pedestrians(detection targets)labeled by full-body boxes and ignored pedestrians(NOT detection targets)labeled by visible *** pedestrians are labeled as an additional category termed the“ignore region”.Nevertheless,our detectors always predict a full-body box for each *** gap results in the following case:when a detector successfully predicts a full-body box for those ignored pedestrians,a false positive is triggered due to the low overlap between the predicted full-body box and the labeled visible box for the ignored *** becomes even more harmful as the detector improves and becomes more capable of locating occluded *** alleviate this issue,we devise a new pedestrian detection pipeline,which considers the additional visible box at both the detection and evaluation *** detection,we predict an extra visible box apart from the full-body box for every instance;during evaluation,we employ visible boxes instead of full-body boxes to match the“ignore region”.We apply the new pipeline to dozens of detection methods and validate the effectiveness of our pipeline in reducing the over-reporting of false positives and providing more reliable evaluation results.

In this research,a novel dynamic and heterogeneous identity based cooperative co-evolutionary algorithm(DHICCA)is proposed for addressing the distributed lot-streaming flowshop scheduling problem(DLSFSP)with the objective to minimize the makespan.A two-layer-vector representation is devised to bridge the solution space of DLSFSP and the search space of *** the evolution of DHICCA,population individuals are endowed with heterogeneous identities according to their quality,including superior individuals,ordinary individuals,and inferior individuals,which serve local exploitation,global exploration,and diversified restart,*** individuals with different identities require different evolutionary mechanisms to fully unleash their respective potentials,identity-specific evolutionary operators are devised to evolve them in a cooperative co-evolutionary *** is important to use limited population resources to solve complex optimization ***,exploitation is carried out on superior individuals by devising three exploitative operators with different intensities based on techniques of variable neighborhood,destruction-construction,and gene *** is executed on ordinary individuals by a newly constructed discrete Jaya algorithm and a probability crossover *** addition,restart is performed on inferior individuals to introduce new evolutionary individuals to the *** the cooperative co-evolution,all individuals with different identities are merged as a population again,and their identities are dynamically adjusted by new *** influence of parameters on the algorithm is investigated based on design-of-experiment and comprehensive computational experiments are used to evaluate the performance of all *** results validate the effectiveness of special designs and show that DHICCA performs more efficient than the existing state-of-the-art algorithms in solving the DLSFSP.

The investigations of surface waves in the piezoelectric medium bring out great possibility in designing smart surface acoustic wave(SAW)*** is important to study the dispersion properties and manipulation mechanism of surface waves in the semi-infinite piezoelectric medium connected with periodic arrangement of shunting *** this study,the extended Stroh formalism is developed to theoretically analyze the dispersion relations of surface waves under different external *** band structures of both the Rayleigh wave and the Bleustein-Gulyaev(BG)wave can be determined and manipulated with proper electrical boundary ***,the electromechanical coupling effects on the band structures of surface waves are discussed to figure out the manipulation mechanism of adjusting electric *** results indicate that the proposed method can explain the propagation behaviors of surface waves under the periodic electrical boundary conditions,and can provide an important theoretical guidance for designing novel SAW devices and exploring extensive applications in practice.

Performance improvement of licklider transmission protocol in complex deep space networks based on parameter optimization

A reasonable parameter configuration helps improve the data transmission performance of the Licklider Transmission Protocol(LTP).Previous research has focused mainly on parameter optimization for LTP in simplified scenarios with one to two hops or multihop scenarios with a custody mechanism of the Bundle Protocol(BP).However,the research results are not applicable to communications in Complex Deep Space Networks(CDSNs)without the custody mechanism of BP that are more suitable for deep space communications with *** this paper,we propose a model of file delivery time for LTP in *** on the model,we propose a Parameter Optimization Design Algorithm for LTP(LTP-PODA)of configuring reasonable parameters for *** results show that the accuracy of the proposed model is at least 6.47%higher than that of the previously established models based on simple scenarios,and the proposed model is more suitable for ***,the LTP parameters are optimized by the LTP-PODA algorithm to obtain an optimization *** the optimization plan for LTP improves the protocol transmission performance by at least 18.77%compared with configuring the other parameter configuration plans.

Exploration on electrical resistance tomography in characterizing the slurry spatial distribution in cemented granular materials

This study investigated the application of electrical resistance tomography(ERT)in characterizing the slurry spatial distribution in cemented granular materials(CGMs).For CGM formed by self-flow grouting,the voids in the accumulation are only partially filled and the bond strength is often limited,which results in difficulty in obtaining in situ samples for quality ***,it is usually infeasible to evaluate the grouting effect or monitor the slurry spatial distribution by a mechanical *** this research,the process of grouting cement paste into high alumina ceramic beads(HACB)accumulation is reliably monitored with *** shows that ERT results can be used to calculate the cement paste volume in the HACB accumulation,based on calibrating the saturation exponent n in Archie’s *** results support the feasibility of ERT as an imaging tool in CGM characterization and may provide guidance for engineering applications in the future.
