Highly sensitive,sub-microsecond polymer photodetectors for blood oxygen saturation testing

Bottom surface of active layers and interface of indium tin oxide(ITO)electrodes and active layers play a crucial role in determining the performance of polymer photodetectors with photomultiplication(PM-PPDs).The interfacial trapped electron distribution closing to ITO electrodes will determine spectral response range and external quantum efficiency(EQE)of *** bottom interface is more sensitive than top interface when light is coming from the ITO side,and the larger density of generated charge on the bottom interfaces will induce interfacial band more bending for efficient charge tunneling *** sensitive and sub-microsecond PM-PPDs are achieved with PMBBDT:Y6(100:7,w/w)as active layers under forward bias,yielding EQE of 18,700%at 320 nm,21,700%at 600 nm and 16,400%at 810 nm under a bias of 7 V,respectively,as well as fast response time of 79μ*** high EQE of the PM-PPDs is attributed to efficient hole tunneling injection from ITO electrode under forward *** electron traps closing to ITO electrode will be quickly filled up when light is coming from ITO side,leading to interfacial band more bending for hole tunneling ***,the PM-PPDs is performed to measure heart rate(HR)and blood oxygen saturation(SpO_(2)),and the measured data by the PM-PPDs are very similar with those obtained by commercial photodetectors.

As traditional automobiles evolve into the Internet of Vehicles (IoV), the increasingly frequent interactions between intelligent vehicles and external environments make cybersecurity a critical issue. While existing machine learning-based automotive intrusion detection methods demonstrate strong detection performance, most rely on supervised learning frameworks. These approaches not only incur high manual data labeling costs but also show significant limitations when handling real-world, unlabeled attack samples. In this paper, we propose an efficient intrusion detection system for in-vehicle networks based on self-supervised contrastive learning. By leveraging data augmentation, we construct positive sample pairs and learn robust feature representations through joint training using both reconstruction loss and contrastive loss. Additionally, we fuse the features extracted from the backbone and core networks into global representations for downstream classification tasks. Experiments on real in-vehicle intrusion datasets show that SSC-IDS achieves strong performance in anomaly detection. Furthermore, we test the model's robustness under varying rates of anomaly contamination. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, a miniaturized planar antenna is presented for mobile satellite service (MSS) applications. It employs meander lines to realize miniaturization. And a symmetrical double-layer structure is applied to enhance bandwidth. A prototype with an area of 0.255λ0 × 0.104λ0 was designed, fabricated, and measured. The measured results are in reasonable agreement with the simulated ones. A measured 10-dB impedance bandwidth of 18.6% (2.326-2.802 GHz) is implemented. The realized gain within the operating band is mostly around 2 dBi. The presented antenna is a good candidate for MSS applications in the S-band. © 2023 IEEE.

Short-term traffic flow forecasting is crucial for intelligent traffic management. In view of the non-linear and random nature of short-term traffic flow, a prediction model based on BAS-VMD-CEEMDAN and IWOA-RF is proposed. Firstly, the parameters of the VMD, namely the modal number (K) and the value of the quadratic penalty term (α), are optimized using the BAS algorithm, and then the traffic flow is decomposed to obtain several VMF components and one RES component, which extracts the smooth information of the traffic flow. Subsequently, the RES component is decomposed using the decomposition completeness of CEEMDAN to obtain several IMF components, refining the complex information of the RES component. Then, the RF model is constructed according to the characteristics of each component, and then the parameters of RF models are optimized using IWOA. Finally, overlay the predictions of each component superimposed to obtain the final predictions. Experimental results show that the short-term traffic flow forecasting model basedon BAS-VMD-CEEMDAN-IWOA-RF has a high accuracy compared to other decomposition models. © 2023 IEEE.

In dual-function radar-communication (DFRC) systems, precise and concurrent estimations of channel state information (CSI) and target directions are imperative to ensure simultaneous communications and sensing. This paper delves into a massive MIMO system employing hybrid beamforming (HBF), identified as a viable solution for achieving significant antenna gains while maintaining manageable hardware costs. The study focuses on a MIMO-DFRC system with a subarray-connection HBF architecture, proposing a preamble-by-preamble methodology to enable simultaneous wireless communications and target tracking on a per-frame basis. In the initial frames, we exploit the Doppler discrepancies between communication paths and fast-moving targets to segregate them. This sets the stage for iterative refinements of Doppler frequencies, angles of departure (AoDs), and angles of arrival (AoAs) estimations in the least square manner. Utilizing these estimations accrued from previous frames, the hybrid precoder and combiner of the subsequent frames are designed to boost a weighted signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), safeguarding the target tracking accuracy while concurrently refining the CSI estimation. Numerical simulations validate the proposed algorithm, demonstrating effective tracking performance with low overhead in MIMO-DFRC systems. © 1972-2012 IEEE.

Aiming at the problems of inconsistent target scales in the task of daily behavior recognition of cattle in farms due to the complex environment of farms, large changes in illumination, and the uneven distribution of cattle, a method based on the improved YOLOv8s is proposed for the recognition of daily behavior of cattle. By testing on the self-constructed dataset, the average accuracy mean mAP of the improved ELID-YOLOv8s network reaches 85.3%, which is 3.0% higher than the original network model YOLOv8s. Therefore, the method in this paper can significantly improve the recognition accuracy of cattle behavior in different environments, different lighting and multi-scale conditions. © 2024 IEEE.

The rapid development of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) market presents potential threats to public security and personal privacy, and the vision sensors are widely deployed to detect the invasive UAVs because of the intuitivity and accessibility of the video. However, the small pixel area and weak morphological characteristics of distant invasive UAVs pose a considerable challenge to the detection precision. Prior work on UAV detection simply focuses on the information fusion between different feature layers, but ignoring the feature information inside each layer. In addition, to detect small UAV in video streams, the motion information of the target is also a noteworthy feature. In this regard, we propose a feature super-resolution-based UAV detector with motion information extractor. The proposed network fully utilizes the motion information of UAVs between temporal frames and the spatial invariant features between different resolution frames to pursue a high-accuracy small UAV detection performance. Experiments on Drone vs Birds dataset are carried out, and it is demonstrated that a higher detection accuracy on small UAVs is achieved compared with the baseline. © 2023 IEEE.
