Spontaneous behaviors in speech pose significant challenges for speech synthesis. Existing research has not adequately addressed these behaviors, with most studies relying on specially recorded datasets. In contrast, real-world data more accurately reflects the natural, spontaneous speaking styles in everyday life and encompasses a wider range of spontaneous behaviors. However, such data is often of lower quality, and the distribution of spontaneous behaviors is highly imbalanced. In this study, we explore spontaneous speech synthesis using real-world data within the VITS2 framework. To overcome these challenges, we introduce two techniques: anchored monotonic alignment and spontaneous hidden representation substitution. Experimental results demonstrate that these methods enhance model alignment and improve the naturalness of the generated speech. Our proposed approach successfully addresses the challenge of synthesizing rare spontaneous behaviors and offers users flexible control over the synthesized speech. © 2025 IEEE.

The data of applications in connected and autonomous vehicles are important, which is usually collected by service providers to improve their services, such as object detection model. But, wireless communication is susceptible to various kinds of attacks. Thus, the data of the application module needs to be securely shared to the corresponding service provider. However, current schemes are with limited performance while a service provider collects multiple application data at the same time. By adopting signcryption and chaotic map, an efficient authentication and key agreement scheme is proposed, while batch authentication is achieved for efficient message authentication of multiple applications, and the efficient revocation is realized based on Chinese remainder theorem under the assistance of trusted execution environment supported vehicle computing/communication unit. The formal security proof shows that the scheme is secure under the random oracle model, and the experiment results shows that the scheme is more efficient than related schemes and can meet the requirements of CAV. © ICST Institute for Computer sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications engineering 2024.

Photoionization process of the hydrogenlike carbon ion embedded in warm and hot dense plasmas

Complicated many-body interactions between ions and surrounding particles exist in warm and hot dense plasmas. It will significantly alter the atomic structures and dynamic properties of the embedded ions. Recently, the atomic-state-dependent (ASD) screening model has been proposed and shown to be valid for investigating the screening effect in warm and hot dense plasmas over a wide range of electron densities and temperatures. By employing the ASD model, we investigate the photoionization process for the hydrogenlike carbon ion embedded in warm and hot dense plasmas with corresponding Coulomb coupling parameter ranges of 0.05 ≤ Γ ≤ 1.16, where Γ characterizes the ratio of the average potential to thermal energy. It is found that there are stronger plasma screening effects on the ionization energy and photoionization cross section due to the negative-energy electron distributions considered in the ASD model compared to those considering only free electrons. The present results from the ASD model show reasonable agreement with the classical Debye-Hückel (DH) model in weakly coupled plasmas. However, significant deviations of the ionization energy and cross section between these two models are observed in moderately and strongly coupled plasmas, due to the approximate treatment of the plasma-electron density distribution of the DH model. In the region of low photoelectron energies, the positions of the shape resonance peaks of the cross sections obtained from the ASD model differ significantly from those of the DH model due to the different screening effects.

Universal selecting of pumped storage power station is very important for energy resource management and energy structure optimization under the background of the national green energy strategy in China. However, when selecting the best reservoir location scheme, multiple factors should be considered, such as topography, water distribution, and ecological environment. Since pumped storage power stations are mostly located in mountainous areas with poor vegetation coverage, it is difficult to carry out universal selecting in the wild. Traditional pumped storage power station site universal selecting methods mainly rely on artificial field investigation and empirical judgment, resulting in low site selection accuracy. To solve these problems, a intelligent universal selecting method for pumped storage power stations is proposed in this study based on high-precision terrain data. The algorithms including reservoir surface pre-selection, upper and lower reservoirs matching and implemented. Furthermore, a intelligent universal selecting system for pumped storage power station with high efficiency, wide range and high accuracy has been developed is built. It is of great strategic significance for national energy resource management and structural optimization. © 2023 ACM.

High-speed polarization management is highly desirable for many applications,such as remote sensing,telecommunication,and medical ***,most of the approaches for polarization management rely on bulky optical components that are slow to respond,cumbersome to use,and sometimes with high drive ***,we overcome these limitations by harnessing photonic integrated circuits based on thin-film lithium niobate *** successfully realize a portfolio of thin-film lithium niobate devices for essential polarization management functionalities,including arbitrary polarization generation,fast polarization measurement,polarization scrambling,and automatic polarization *** present devices feature ultra-fast control speeds,low drive voltages,low optical losses and compact *** these devices,we achieve high fidelity polarization generation with a polarization extinction ratio up to 41.9 dB and fast polarization scrambling with a scrambling rate up to 65 Mrad s−1,both of which are best results in integrated *** also demonstrate the endless polarization state tracking operation in our *** demonstrated devices unlock a drastically new level of performance and scales in polarization management devices,leading to a paradigm shift in polarization management.

Due to the hypersonic maneuvering target's fast flight speed and wide trajectory range, it is impractical to track its entire path using ground-based radar. Based on the Bi-satellite positioning measurement model with line of sight intersection, this paper integrate the Strong Tracking Filter (STF) with the Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF) algorithm, incorporating two adaptive coefficients to adjust the filter gain and noise covariance matrix dynamically. This approach aims to track and estimate the trajectory of a hypersonic glide vehicles (HGVs) based on observations from two LEO early warning satellites within the space-based infrared system. Through simulation, this paper presents the results of tracking target trajectories using an adaptive strong tracking Unscented Kalman Filter (ASTUKF) algorithm based on Bi-satellite positioning. The simulation and experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm achieves a 28.95% and 50.36% lower total speed RMSE compared to the other two algorithms, respectively. Similarly, the total position RMSE is reduced by 30.46% and 51.99%, respectively, when compared with the same algorithms.

Simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) algorithm is widely used in unmanned and robotic applications. SLAM usually uses sensor data, which are from the LiDAR, the inertial measurement unit (IMU) and the wheeled odometry, to build maps of the surrounding environment. However, the motion distortion of LiDAR data and the error accumulation of wheeled odometry can affect the accuracy of the front-end odometry of the SLAM algorithm, which can lead to serious errors in the maps created. Therefore, in order to solve the problem of poor map construction results of SLAM algorithm due to various types of sensor errors. we propose the traceless Kalman filtering based (UKF-based) multi-sensor data processing algorithm. Firstly, the proposed algorithm uses the UKF to fuse IMU and wheeled odometry data to reduce the cumulative error of wheeled odometry. And then the algorithm uses IMU and corrected wheeled odometry data and combines with the motion states of the robot to solve the motion distortion problem of LiDAR data. Finally, we verified the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm for wheeled odometry data correction in Gazebo simulation environment and real environment experiments, and compared the mapping effectiveness of SLAM by using the original data and the data processed by our algorithm. The experimental results show that the map construction effect of SLAM algorithm is significantly improved when using the sensor data processed by the algorithm. Experimental validation on the robot shows that the proposed algorithm has universal applicability and good compatibility. © 2023 IEEE.

Measurement is an important aspect for advanced lithography in sub-10 nm technology node. We developed a novel algorithmic approach for precise quantitative measurements of line width roughness (LWR), line edge roughness (LER), and line width by analyzing the morphologies of line and directed self-assembly (DSA) patterns with a width of sub-20 nm that obtained from the field-emission scanning electron microscopy (SEM) patterns. In addition, the algorithmic method can be used for quantitative measurements of pattern defects, such as fingerprint graphics and linear graphics. The degree of breakage of the line is quantitatively analyzed in form of the number of breaks and the length of breakage for line patterns. While for fingerprint patterns, a contrast-limited adaptive histogram equalization (CLAHE) algorithm is proposed to improve the contrast, so that the endpoint and intersection of the fingerprint shape pattern can be obtained to further quantitatively analyze the defects of the pattern. © 2022 IEEE.

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a photonic method for wideband multipath self-interference cancellation using a silicon photonic modulator *** chip generates phase-inverted reference signals by leveraging the opposite phase between optical *** managing amplitude and phase imbalances between self-interference and reference signals,the approach rectifies discrepancies through consistent chip manufacturing and packaging *** photonic multi-dimensional multiplexing,including wavelength and polarization,enables the acquisition of multiple reference *** results show multipath cancellation depths of 25.53 dB and 23.81 dB for bandwidths of 500 MHz and 1 GHz,achieved by superimposing 2-path reference signals.
