智能网联车辆(CAV)具有提高驾驶安全性的巨大潜力,CAV的基本性能评估准则之一是其能否在真实的交通情景中比人类驾驶员更安全地行驶。本研究提出了一种基于人类驾驶员在跟车高风险情景中的经验轨迹数据来优化CAV纵向控制模型参数的方法。首先,从经验轨迹数据中提取初始跟车车组(I-CFP)。然后,基于模型默认参数值,采用自适应巡航控制模型(ACC)和协同自适应巡航控制模型(CACC)进行仿真,生成模拟跟车车组(S-CFP)的原始轨迹。最后,应用遗传算法来优化ACC和CACC模型的控制参数,并生成优化后的跟车车组(O-CFP)轨迹。结果表明,S-CFP的安全性优于I-CFP,而O-CFP具有最佳的安全性能。ACC/CACC模型中的优化参数多样且与默认参数不同,表明最佳模型参数会随跟车情景不同而变化,进而为减少追尾碰撞风险提供了有价值的视角。

UW-Adapter: Adapting Monocular Depth Estimation Model in Underwater Scenes

Estimating depth maps from monocular underwater images poses one of the most challenging problems in underwater applications. Due to the lack of large-scale paired underwater color-depth datasets for effective training, existing style transfer-based and self-supervision-based approaches can improve the performance of depth estimation to some extent, but they remain unsatisfactory. Leveraging the power of massive training datasets, foundation models designed for terrestrial monocular depth estimation have demonstrated superior performance across various scenes. These models provide rich prior knowledge of 3D perception, which can be valuable for underwater depth estimation. Upon this, we introduce tunable adapters (UW-Adapter) that tailor a pre-trained foundation model specifically for underwater depth estimation, customizing it to the unique characteristics of underwater imagery. Our approach involves freezing the parameters of the pre-trained model and updating only the adapters through self-supervision. To address the complex degradation of underwater images, we propose two adapters: the transmission adapter and the high-frequency adapter. These adapters incorporate depth clues and high-frequency information as prior knowledge, thereby enhancing the performance of pre-trained model in underwater depth estimation. Experimental results demonstrate that by integrating lightweight adapters into off-the-shelf depth estimation foundation models, our method achieves superior performance across multiple datasets. © 2025 IEEE.

With the increasing demand for energy, pumped storage power plants have received widespread attention as a renewable energy storage solution. When designing and constructing dam projects for pumped storage power plants, it is necessary to fully consider terrain factors to ensure the safety and feasibility of the project. Based on this, this study proposes a simulation method for pumped storage power station dam engineering that takes into account terrain. This method emphasizes the terrain characteristics and covers the positioning, geometric construction, volume estimation of the dam body, and thickness estimation of the mountains on both sides of the dam for pumped storage power plants. Finally, a three-dimensional model of the pumped storage power plant dam that meets the requirements was successfully constructed. Provided important technical support for the planning and construction of pumped storage power station dam projects, and made positive contributions to the implementation of renewable energy storage solutions. © 2023 IEEE.

A Reliable Collision-free TDMA MAC for Sensor Networks

This paper proposes an energy-efficient and collision-free medium access control protocol named TDMA-S (Time division multiple access MAC protocol for Sensor networks). Nodes in TDMA-S schedule their transmissions based on neighborhood information to determine when they can transmit, listen or sleep. TDMA-S collects the neighborhood information using a distributed algorithm and avoids that two nodes within the interference range are assigned the same transmitting slot. The protocol is shown to be fair and reliable. Simulation results indicate that TDMA-S outperforms contention-based protocol (e.g., S-MAC) and schedule-based protocol (e.g., NAMA) in terms of delay and energy consumption.

Terahertz technology has shown remarkable potential for application in the field of imaging since it offers several particular advantages such as great penetration capabilities, non-ionization and high instantaneous bandwidth. This paper presents a focal plane imging system based on CMOS terathertz detector for forward-looking detection. The focal plane imaging system has several advantages, including fast scanning, simple composition, low cost, and easy integration of a CMOS detector. It is composed of a terahertz radiation source, a Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) lens and a broadband CMOS detector. The detector was fabricated in a 65 nm CMOS process. The operating frequency range of the detector covers 75 GHz to 1000 GHz. Measurement results have shown that the focal plane imaging system is capable of stably imaging at frequencies of 100 GHz and 220 GHz. To address the issue of missing information in measurement images, the morphological closing algorithm is employed to process the original image, successfully filling in the missing information and improving image quality. © 2024 Institute of Physics Publishing. The increase in frequency and intensity of Extreme High-temperature Events(EHEs)over Central-Eastern China(CEC)in recent decades has severely impacted social development and *** observation and reanalysis datasets,this study explores the effect of the East Asian subtropical westerly jet stream(EAJ)on the CEC EHEs for the summers spanning 1979–*** its general relative location to the right side of the upper-level jet stream exit region,CEC would theoretically suffer more EHEs with a stronger and northwardly-shifted EAJ in summer due to the likelihood of abnormal subsidence induced by the ***,such an EAJ–EHE connection has been unstable over the past four decades but has displayed an evident interdecadal *** the late 1990s,the interannual variation of the EAJ was manifested mainly by its meridional displacement in the northeastern part of East Asia;thus,the atmospheric responses were essentially located to the east of CEC,exerting less of an influence on the CEC ***,since the late 1990s,the EAJ variation has featured an intensity change in its center over the northwest portion of the CEC,which has resulted in a westward shift in atmospheric responses to cover the CEC ***,the EAJ could potentially affect the summer CEC EHEs during 2000–*** findings offer support for an in-depth understanding of the formation mechanisms of extreme weather/climate events of this nature and thus provide a scientific reference for seasonal climate predictions.

Inspired by biological ion channels,numerous artificial asymmetric ion channels have been synthesized to facilitate the fabrication of ionic ***,the creation of biomimetic asymmetric ion channels necessitates expensive scientific apparatus and intricate material processing procedures,which constrains its advancement within the realm of ionic *** this study,we have devised dynamic asymmetric ion channels with mechanical responsiveness by combining polymers of varying elastic modulus along the longitudinal axis of carbon nanotube fiber(CNTF).The ion rectification can be modulated via the disparate response of CNTF-based ion channels to mechanical *** have effectively employed these asymmetric ion channels with mechanical sensitivity in the design of a logic gate device,achieving logic operations such as“AND”and“OR”.The conception of these dynamic asymmetric ion channels with mechanical sensitivity offers a straightforward,cost-effective,and versatile approach for generating ion channels,highlighting their potential application in intricate,highly integrated ionic circuits.

HRPDF: A Software-Based Heterogeneous Redundant Proactive Defense Framework for Programmable Logic Controller

Programmable logic controllers(PLCs)play a critical role in many industrial control systems,yet face increasingly serious cyber *** this paper,we propose a novel PLC-compatible software-based defense mechanism,called Heterogeneous Redundant Proactive Defense Framework(HRPDF).We propose a heterogeneous PLC architecture in HRPDF,including multiple heterogeneous,equivalent,and synchronous runtimes,which can thwart multiple types of attacks against PLC without the need of external *** ensure the availability of PLC,we also design an inter-process communication algorithm that minimizes the overhead of *** implement a prototype system of HRPDF and test it in a real-world PLC and an OpenPLC-based device,*** results show that HRPDF can defend against multiple types of attacks with 10.22%additional CPU and 5.56%additional memory overhead,and about 0.6 ms additional time overhead.

Orthogonal matrices have become a vital means for coding and signal processing owing to their unique distributional *** orthogonal matrices based on amplitude or phase combinations have been extensively explored,the orthogonal matrix of polarization combinations(OMPC)is a novel,relatively unexplored ***,we propose a method for constructing OMPCs of any dimension encompassing 4n(where n is 1,2,4,8,…)mutually orthogonal 2ncomponent polarization *** the field of holography,the integration of polarization multiplexing techniques with polarization-sensitive materials is expected to emerge as a groundbreaking approach for multichannel hologram multiplexing,offering considerable enhancements in data storage capacity and security.A multidimensional OMPC enables the realization of multichannel multiplexing and dynamical modulation of information in polarization holographic *** consolidating all information into a single position within the material,we effectively avoided extraneous crosstalk during the reconstruction *** results show that achieving four distinct holographic images individually and simultaneously depends on the polarization combination represented by the incident *** discovery opens up a new avenue for achieving highly holographic information storage and dynamically displayed information,harnessing the potential of OMPC to expand the heretofore limited dimensionality of orthogonal polarization.
