The corresponding relationship between magnetic induction intensity and GMM strain was analyzed theoretically. The finite element software COMSOL Multiphysics was used to select and compare the transducer, and the static simulation analysis of the bias magnetic field was carried *** the axial magnetic induction intensity and magnetic field heterogeneity of GMM rod as optimization evaluation indexes, the optimal magnetic circuit design scheme was determined by optimizing the transducer shell material, the relative permeability of magnetic block and the structural parameters of permanent magnet. The two indexes were significantly improved and the magnetic leakage was reduced, and clear test results were obtained. © 2023 SPIE. All rights reserved.

This paper investigates the cooperative estimation and guidance problem to realize the simultaneous attack with incomplete information. First, the leader-follower guidance strategy with unilateral communication and bearing-only measurements is constructed for better survivability and lower cost. Then, a leader-follower estimation method based on the extended Kalman filter (EKF) is put forward for followers to obtain guidance information for impact-time consensus. Furthermore, guidance laws for both the leader and followers are presented to realize the simultaneous attack with impact angle constraints. DeepCAGE:Incorporating Transcription Factors in Genome-wide Prediction of Chromatin Accessibility

The North China Plain is one of the major grain producing areas in China, and most of the farmland in the grain growing areas has been in the state of "fragmentation and heterogeneity" for a long time, which makes it more difficult to recognize and extract typical crop features in the remotely sensed images. This study takes Gaofen-6 remote sensing images as the research object, takes Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei as the research area, combines the characteristics of farmland landscape zoning, and utilizes artificial intelligence algorithms to realize the remote sensing intelligent interpretation of winter wheat. The remote sensing identification of crops is affected by the distribution of crops, and this paper screens four indices that can characterize the spatial distribution of crops from the spatial structure of the landscape, spatial characteristics, and landscape diversity indices. Combined with the k-mean mean for cluster analysis, the study area was divided into four different farmland type zones. Random Forest (RF), U-Net and Deformable Full Convolutional Neural Network (DFCN) were utilized to extract winter wheat from the four farmland type areas, determine the optimal decoding method for each farmland type area, and finally combine the optimal models of the four farmland type areas to achieve the optimal decoding method. The optimal models of the four types of farmland areas are combined to realize the global optimal decoding of the study area. The research results show that: (1) the quantitative description index of crop distribution can be realized by four landscape indices, namely: shape factor LSI, area-weighted average patch dimension FRAC_AM, agglomeration index AI and uniformity index SHEI;through the k-mean clustering classification method, all landscape units can be clustered and analyzed, which can be classified into four typical farmland zoning types. types of farmland zoning. Inaudible attack has brought growing concerns over security of voice assistants. With a well-designed inaudible signal, an adversary can force the voice assistant to execute commands inaudibly like "Siri, open the door". It is challenging to defend against ultrasonic attacks without modifying the hardware. In this paper, we proposed a light-weight system named IMUSHIELD to defend voice assistant against inaudible attack. By comparing the different response of signal from microphone and inertial measurement units (IMUs) to different frequencies on smartphones. IMUSHIELD is able to detect the attacks without modifying the hardware. We have prototyped our method on a number of smartphones and test the performance of IMUSHIELD comprehensively in the real world, the result shows that our average detection accuracy exceeded 90 %. © 2023 SPIE.

Morphological analysis for thermodynamics of cavitation collapse near fractal solid wall

A fractal geometric boundary with natural wall features is introduced into a hybrid lattice-Boltzmann-method(LBM)multiphase model. The physical model of cavitation bubble collapse near the irregular geometric wall is established to study the thermodynamic characteristics of the bubble collapse. Due to the lack of periodicity, symmetry, spatial uniformity and obvious correlation in the LBM simulation of the bubble collapse near the fractal wall, the morphological analysis based on Minkowski functional is introduced into the thermodynamic investigation of cavitation bubble so as to analyze and obtain the effective information. The results show that the Minkowski functional method can employed to study the temperature information in complex physical fields hierarchically and quantitatively. The high/low temperature region of the cavitation flow is explored, and thermal effect between irregular and fractal geometric wall and cavitation bubble can be revealed. It illustrates that LBM and morphological analysis complement each other, and morphological analysis can also be used as an optional and potential tool in research field of complex multiphase flows.

In this paper, a directly pumped passively Q-switched Nd3+-doped phosphate fiber laser using Cr4+:YAG as a saturable absorber is reported. The Nd3+-doped phosphate fiber preform with minimal internal defects were prepared by the double-peeled isolation extrusion method and drawn into optical fibers. The core-clad size of the fiber was 234/356 μm, with a transmission loss of 1.1 dB/m at 1053 nm. Subsequently, a passively Q-switched fiber laser was constructed based on the homemade Nd3+-doped phosphate fiber, and the effects of parameters such as the reflectivity of the output coupler mirror, the transmittance of the saturable absorber, the length of the fiber, and the pumping power on the characteristics of the output laser pulse were investigated. After optimizing the key parameters, the laser achieved a peak pulse energy of 388 μJ and a maximum peak power of 21.8 kW. The results provide fundamental theoretical and experimental guidance for the development of passively Q-switched fiber lasers with high peak power, demonstrating significant practical value and theoretical significance. © 2024 SPIE.

The collective effects of sleep loss and sleep disorders are correlated with many adverse health consequences, including increased risk of high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, depressive state, and cardiovascular symptoms. Research in eHealth can provide methods to enrich personal health care with information and communication technologies (ICTs). An eCoach system may allow people to manage a healthy lifestyle with extended health state monitoring (e.g., sleep) and tailored recommendation generation. Using supervised machine learning (ML) techniques, this study investigated the possibility of classifying sleep stages at night for adults on hourly and daily basis. The daily total sleep minutes and hourly total sleep minutes for defined sleeping period served as input for the classification models. We first used publicly available Fitbit dataset to build the initial classification models. Second, using the transfer learning approach, we re-used the top five best-performing models on a real dataset as collected from the MOX2-5 wearable medical-grade activity device. We found that support vector classifier (SVC) with "linear" kernel outdated other classifiers with a mean accuracy score of 99.92% for hourly sleep classification and a K-nearest neighbor (KNN) outpaced other classifiers with a mean accuracy score of 99.47% for daily sleep classification, for the public Fitbit datasets. Moreover, to determine the practical efficacy of the classifier models, we conceptualized to use the classifier models in an eCoach prototype system to attain tailored sleep goals (e.g., a weekly goal of 49–63 h of sleeping). © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

With the rapid development of document digitization, people have become accustomed to capturing and processing documents using electronic devices such as smartphones. However, the captured document images often suffer from issues like shadows and noise due to environmental factors, which can affect their readability. To improve the quality of captured document images, researchers have proposed a series of models or frameworks and applied them in distinct scenarios such as image enhancement, and document information extraction. In this paper, we primarily focus on shadow removal methods and open-source datasets. We concentrate on recent advancements in this area, first organizing and analyzing nine available datasets. Then, the methods are categorized into conventional methods and neural network-based methods. Conventional methods use manually designed features and include shadow map-based approaches and illumination-based approaches. Neural network-based methods automatically generate features from data and are divided into single-stage approaches and multi-stage approaches. We detail representative algorithms and briefly describe some typical techniques. Finally, we analyze and discuss experimental results, identifying the limitations of datasets and methods. Future research directions are discussed, and nine suggestions for shadow removal from document images are proposed. To our knowledge, this is the first survey of shadow removal methods and related datasets from document images.
