Global warming is a serious threat common to all countries. The technological revolution and sustainable development of energy have become the international consensus. While ensuring economic benefits, promoting low carbon environmental protection of comprehensive energy system has become a top priority. Therefore, this paper designs a low-carbon economic scheduling system based on consistency theory. First, the importance of user demand response should be considered in the integrated energy system to ensure the economy of scheduling. Secondly, the improved step-step carbon trading mechanism is used in the algorithm to improve the low carbon performance of scheduling. Then, the distributed consistency algorithm is used to schedule the integrated energy system to realize the most energy output of each unit. In addition, a noise function is added to the algorithm for encryption and desensitization to prevent user privacy leakage. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed economic scheduling method. © 2024 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.

Multiplex networks are often used to describe the relationship of different properties between the same group of entities in real complex system, in which nodes represent entities and links in different layers represent connections of different properties between entities. The key to link prediction in multiplex networks lies in (1) making full use of the information provided by each layer of a network;(2) effectively fusing the information provided by each layer of the network together. In this paper, we propose a method based on regression and conditional probability, called MRCP, in which the feature vectors of node pairs are the vectors proposed in our previous work. This method combines intralayer probability and interlayer information to predict missing links in multiplex networks. Firstly, the intralayer probability is calculated by using regression algorithm based on intralayer information. Then the conditional probability of link existence is calculated by using the auxiliary layer information. Finally, both probabilities are combined for link prediction. In order to verify the effectiveness of the method, we conducted experiments on 8 real datasets. The experimental results show that the prediction performance of this method is better than compared methods. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Optical chaos generated by perturbing semiconductor lasers has been viewed,over recent decades,as an excellent entropy source for fast physical random bit generation(RBG)owing to its high bandwidth and large random ***,most optical-chaos-based random bit generators perform their quantization process in the electrical domain using electrical analog-to-digital converters,so their real-time rates in a single channel are severely limited at the level of Gb/s due to the electronic ***,we propose and experimentally demonstrate an all-optical method for RBG where chaotic pulses are quantized into a physical random bit stream in the all-optical domain by means of a length of highly nonlinear *** our proof-of-concept experiment,a 10-Gb/s random bit stream is successfully generated on-line using our *** that the single-channel real-time rate is limited only by the chaos *** that the Kerr nonlinearity of silica fiber with an ultrafast response of few femtoseconds is exploited for composing the key part of quantizing laser chaos,this scheme thus may operate potentially at much higher real-time rates than 100 Gb/s provided that a chaotic entropy source of sufficient bandwidth is available.

In this paper, the pitch profile of a traveling-wave tube (TWT) at Ku-band is designed by using the multiobjective optimization design tool. The simulation indicators of the TWT require that the output power reaches 220W (the electronic efficiency reaches 39%) and the power variation is less than 5W over the operating band. The phase distortion should be less than 45 degrees at the same time. By using the optimization design tool, the optimized solutions achieve all the design objectives through eight hours of automatic optimization. Then, the final design scheme is obtained by selecting the scheme with lower power variation. © 2023 IEEE.

Herein,we use an oxidation flow reactor,Gothenburg:Potential Aerosol Mass(Go:PAM)reactor,to investigate the secondary organic aerosol(SOA)formation from wheat straw *** burning emissions are exposed to high concentrations of hydroxyl radicals(OH)to simulate processes equivalent to atmospheric oxidation of 0-2.55 *** volatile organic compounds(VOCs)were investigated,and particles were measured before and after the Go:PAM *** influence of water content(i.e.5%and 11%)in wheat straw was also *** burning stages,the flaming stage,and non-flaming stages,were *** particle emission factors(EFs)at a water content of 11%(~3.89 g/kg-fuel)are significantly higher than those at a water content of 5%(~2.26 g/kg-fuel)during the flaming ***,the water content showed no significant influence at the non-flaming *** of aromatics at a non-flaming stage(321.8±46.2 mg/kg-fuel)are larger than that at a flaming stage(130.9±37.1 mg/kg-fuel).The OA enhancement ratios increased with the increase in OH exposure at first and decreased with the additional increment of OH *** maximum OA enhancement ratio is~12 during the non-flaming stages,which is much higher than~1.7 during the flaming *** mass spectrum of the primary wheat burning organic aerosols closely resembles that of resolved biomass burning organic aerosols(BBOA)based on measurements in ambient *** results show that large gap(0%-90%)still remains to estimate biomass burning SOA if only the oxidation of VOCs were included.

To maximize the CPU utilization of the server, offline tasks are usually deployed to the same server where the online service is running. Considering the necessity to ensure the service quality of online services, it is common practice to isolate the resources of online services. How to set the resource quota for online services not only affects the service quality of online services, but also affects the number and the stability of offline tasks that can be run on the server. Traditional rule-based methods or prediction-based methods will cause over-provision and fail to consider the stability of offline tasks, which often cannot achieve stability and efficiency. In this paper, reinforcement learning is proposed for the first time to solve the hybrid deployment of online services and offline tasks and dynamically adjust the resource quota of online services more effectively. Compared with the original state of the server, our proposed method reduces CPU idleness rate by 35.32% and increases CPU resource utilization rate by 3.84%. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The olfactory sensory system of Drosophila has several advantages,including low power consumption,high rapidity and high ***,we present a biomimetic intelligent olfactory sensing system based on the integration of an 18-channel microelectromechanical system(MEMS)sensor array(16 gas sensors,1 humidity sensor and 1 temperature sensor),a complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor(CMOS)circuit and an olfactory lightweight machine-learning algorithm inspired by *** system is an artificial version of the biological olfactory perception system with the capabilities of environmental sensing,multi-signal processing,and odor *** olfactory data are processed and reconstructed by the combination of a shallow neural network and a residual neural network,with the aim to determine the noxious gas information in challenging environments such as high humidity scenarios and partially damaged sensor *** a result,our electronic olfactory sensing system is capable of achieving comprehensive gas recognition by qualitatively identifying 7 types of gases with an accuracy of 98.5%,reducing the number of parameters and the difficulty of calculation,and quantitatively predicting each gas of 3-5 concentration gradients with an accuracy of 93.2%;thus,these results show superiority of our system in supporting alarm systems in emergency rescue scenarios.

The recent development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) technology has been envisioned as a promising paradigm to cater for the growing maritime activities. However, the increasing growth of marine services poses challenges for processing maritime data. In this paper, we propose a surface computing paradigm in maritime networks, in which multi-Task sensed by UAVs can be offloaded to multiple beacon stations. Multiple UAVs can process their workloads locally or offload to surface computing. Taking the system welfare and energy consumption into consideration, we present an optimization problem to determine the selection of beacon stations and the offloading decision, with the objective of maximizing the system welfare. We propose a hybrid auction and convex optimization approach to address the formulated problem. Finally, simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed algorithms compared to several baselines. © 2024 IEEE.

The knee exoskeleton can assist patients for knee rehabilitation exercises. In this paper, a novel knee exoskeleton with self-alignment capability is proposed. First, the structure of the knee exoskeleton is designed, which has one active and four passive joints. The four passive joints are used to realize the self-alignment function of the knee exoskeleton. Second, the kinematic model is established and analysed. Third, simulations are conducted to validate the rotation ranges of human knee and hip joints. The simulation results demonstrate that the knee exoskeleton can meet the rehabilitation needs of the patients. © 2024 IEEE.
