Joint Design of ISAC Waveform Under PAPR Constraints

In this paper,we formulate the precoding problem of integrated sensing and communication(ISAC)waveform as a non-convex quadratically constrained quadratic programming(QCQP),in which the weighted sum of communication multi-user interference(MUI)and the gap between dual-use waveform and ideal radar waveform is minimized with peak-toaverage power ratio(PAPR)*** propose an efficient algorithm based on alternating direction method of multipliers(ADMM),which is able to decouple multiple variables and provide a closed-form solution for each *** addition,to improve the sensing performance in both spatial and temporal domains,we propose a new criteria to design the ideal radar waveform,in which the beam pattern is made similar to the ideal one and the integrated sidelobe level of the ambiguity function in each target direction is minimized in the region of *** limited memory Broyden-Fletcher-Goldfarb-Shanno(LBFGS)algorithm is applied to the design of the ideal radar waveform which works as a reference in the design of the dual-function *** results indicate that the designed dual-function waveform is capable of offering good communication quality of service(QoS)and sensing performance.

To improve the safety and efficiency of mining operation, the development of unmanned transportation technologies for mining trucks is extraordinarily rapid. The application of LiDAR in autonomous mining trucks has also become increasingly popular. However, due to the significant difference in the size of objects and the complex noise, the problem of point cloud object detection in mining scenarios remains a major challenge. Existing methods, such as those based on point cloud clustering algorithms, have proved to be difficult to meet practical application requirements. In this paper, a real-time point cloud object detection based on Dynamic Sparse Voxel Transformer (DSVT) is introduced. A series of experiments were conducted to examine the efficacy of the proposed methodology. The experimental results demonstrated that the proposed method attained a mean average precision of 75%. Additionally, the detection latency of the proposed method was observed to be 62 ms. Collectively, the detection speed and accuracy both align with the practical application requirements. © 2024 IEEE.

The cardiac muscle is elastic and deformable. Pushing a catheter in contact with the cardiac muscle surface to conduct focal energy-based ablative therapies, such as RF ablation, requires an adequate electrode-tissue contact surface to transfer the energy to the target site. In this regard, the relationship between the contact force (CF) and the resulting mechanical response is still unclear, in particular, the insertion depth (ID) and the diameter of the surface deformation. The objective of this study was to quantify these relationships using an ex vivo model and a computational model. A rigid bar with a 2.3 mm diameter blunt tip (mimicking a 7Fr standard ablation catheter) was placed at a perpendicular orientation on a fragment of the porcine heart. CF values ranged from 10 to 80g. We used ANSYS to build a Mooney-Rivlig model of 3 parameters based on hyperelastic material and to simulate the same conditions as in the experiments. In existing secret medical-image sharing (SMIS) schemes, to protect and manage secret medical-images (SMIs), the sharing and recovery of each SMI are implemented by local servers of medical institutions. However, since a lot of SMIs are produced by personal smart terminal devices in Internet of Things (IoT) environment, directly implementing the sharing and recovery processes will cause excessive communication and computing burden for those local servers, which makes the existing SMIS schemes not suitable for IoT environment. To address the above issue, we propose an encrypted domain SMIS (Enc-SMIS) scheme with secure outsourcing computation for protecting and managing medical images in IoT environment. In the proposed scheme, the medical images are first encrypted using fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) and then outsourced to a cloud server for generating a set of image shares. Subsequently, these shares are stored separately in different local servers of medical institutions. Furthermore, the recovery process is also outsourced to the cloud server when doctors need to observe the patients' medical images. Compared with the existing SMIS schemes, the proposed Enc-SMIS scheme alleviates the computing and communication burden on local servers significantly with secure outsourcing computation in the semi-honest model, and thus supports the storage and management of medical images well in IoT environment. © 2014 IEEE.

Spreadsheets contain a lot of valuable data and have many practical *** key technology of these practical applications is how to make machines understand the semantic structure of spreadsheets,e.g.,identifying cell function types and discovering relationships between cell *** existing methods for understanding the semantic structure of spreadsheets do not make use of the semantic information of cells.A few studies do,but they ignore the layout structure information of spreadsheets,which affects the performance of cell function classification and the discovery of different relationship types of cell *** this paper,we propose a Heuristic algorithm for Understanding the Semantic Structure of spreadsheets(HUSS).Specifically,for improving the cell function classification,we propose an error correction mechanism(ECM)based on an existing cell function classification model[11]and the layout features of *** improving the table structure analysis,we propose five types of heuristic rules to extract four different types of cell pairs,based on the cell style and spatial location *** experimental results on five real-world datasets demonstrate that HUSS can effectively understand the semantic structure of spreadsheets and outperforms corresponding baselines.

In this paper, the stability analysis of Load frequency Control (LFC) systems with time-varying delay is conducted. Firstly, an augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii (L-K) functional is designed to incorporate the relevant information of the delay state. Then, the functional derivatives are estimated using an auxiliary-function-based integral inequality in conjunction with an improved reciprocally convex inequality. Furthermore, the correlation function is processed through a quadratic function negative definite derivation. Finally, case studies established on a one-area LFC system are conducted to demonstrate the superiority of the method, and its accuracy is verified through a simulation case. © 2023 IEEE.

In order to achieve rapid and accurate recognition of grape leaf disease images, this paper introduces a convolutional neural network model based on transfer learning for classifying diseased grape leaves. A new fully connected layer module was designed on the basis of the EfficientNetB0 model, and the convolutional layer of the EfficientNetB0 model, pre-Trained on the ImageNet dataset, was transferred into this model. The training image data of thousands of images were obtained from Kaggle, including grape leaves with black rot disease, Esca disease virus, leaf blight disease, and healthy grape leaves. In order to expand the dataset and prevent overfitting, we carried out a series of preprocessing steps on the original dataset and divided the training and test sets in a 4:1 ratio. The test accuracy of our model reached 99.14% and the average F1-score reached 98.79%. This paper also compared the classification results of different model structures such as VGG-16 and RESNet50. Their test accuracy values are 96.29% and 97.06% respectively. To quantitatively evaluate the performance of the model, the accuracy, precision, recall and F1-socre of the model are calculated. © 2023 IEEE.

Wind and solar energy inverter-based resources (IBRs) has been employed extensively with the aim of carbon neutrality. Power systems also make extensive use of power electronic converters, leading to interactions between IBRs and with the grid, causing high frequency oscillation (HFO) problems. It damages equipment and jeopardizes the security of the system. To identify HFO components above 100 Hz, this research use Phasor Measurement Unit (PMU) instantaneous value data to determine the HFO associated characteristics. To reduce the influence of spectral leakage and the fence effect, as well as to improve the identification accuracy of the related parameters, this paper adopts the RV self-convolutional window based Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) and the Hanning double-window based all-phase Fast Fourier Transform (apFFT) hybrid algorithm to identify the HFO modal parameters. We take into account the identification accuracy in complex cases, such as non-nominal frequencies, with noise effects and multiple HFO modes. The simulation results show that the proposed method has high identification bandwidth, accuracy and strong flexibility. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper investigates the output consensus problem for a class of nonlinear multi-agent systems (NMAS) with actuator and sensor faults. Firstly, a novel structural design method, combining parameter separation and function recombination, is introduced to address the challenges arising from multiple sensor faults. Secondly, a fuzzy logic system (FLS) is employed to approximate unknown functions. Then, a second-order tracker differentiator (TD) is used to eliminate the explosion of complexity in backstepping. Subsequently, the Nussbaum function is utilized to address the unknown control orientation. Based on backstepping technique, an adaptive fuzzy fault-tolerant consensus control (FTCC) method is proposed to remove the difficulties of sensor and actuator faults. It is confirmed that all signals in the closed-loop NMAS are bounded, ensuring the convergence of the output consensus error to an arbitrarily small neighborhood of the origin. Finally, the simulation experiment verifies the efficacy of the proposed controller. © 2024 Technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

With the continuous improvement of the precision of the inertial measurement unit (IMU), the error caused by the traditionally neglected disturbing gravity to the actual navigation cannot be ignored in the high-precision inertial navigation system (INS). This paper focuses on the mechanism of the influence of disturbing gravity on actual inertial navigation. Specifically, by deriving the error propagation equation of strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS) under the consideration of disturbing gravity, we have completed the analysis of error propagation characteristics under different conditions through simulation. Furthermore, we completed the analysis of the influence characteristics of the disturbing gravity on the long-range flighting vehicle navigation errors and clarified the coupling influence mechanism of the disturbing gravity on the navigation accuracy. © 2023 IEEE.
