The development of unmanned transportation technology has improved operational efficiency and safety in open-pit mining areas. However, there remain significant challenges to be addressed. One pressing issue is the need for mining trucks to pass through the area where the cable is laid on the ground. Accidentally crushing or damaging these cables would lead to significant risk to the mining area operation. However, due to the complexity of the mining environment and the characteristics of cables being thin and curved, the existing methods such as edge segmentation are difficult to meet the requirements for cable segmentation. This paper introduces a cable segmentation method based on Mask2Former and carries out comprehensive experiments to examine the effectiveness of the method. Experimental results show that the proposed method achieves IoU of 66.04% and PA of 80.08%, which can meet the requirements of practical applications. © 2024 IEEE.

The antiferromagnetic(AFM)semimetal NdSb is well known for the interplay between its exotic magnetism and topological ***,its magnetism remains poorly *** this study,we thoroughly investigated the magnetization of NdSb single crystals with a high magnetic field(H)of up to 30T applied in various *** found that the AFM phase is suppressed by a magnetic field of 9.41T when H‖[100]and 11.25T when H‖[110],whereas the suppression field ranges from 9.41 to 10.67T with a hysteresis of 1.26T when H‖[111].The magnetization of H‖[100],which is an easy direction with a typical magnetic transition,was studied in *** AFM phase with H‖[100]was suppressed at lower temperatures,disappearing at approximately 6.25 *** critical exponents β=0.234(3),γ=0.824(6),and δ=4.90(6)were obtained for H‖[100],and aligned with a tricritical mean-field *** of the critical behavior suggests a fieldinduced tricritical phenomenon for H‖[100].An H-T phase diagram for an NdSb single crystal was constructed for H‖[100],revealing a field-induced first-order transition and a tricritical point(TCP)at T_(tr)=6.25K and H_(tr)=9.41 *** clarification of the multiple magnetic phases and transitions in NdSb provides crucial insights into the correlation between its magnetism and topology.

In this study, we tackle the path-tracking problem of a nonlinear four-wheel steering vehicle dynamics model subject to model mismatches and propose a model predictive control (MPC) algorithm based on an event-triggered mechanism (ET-MPC). The goal is to maintain closed-loop control performance while reducing the computational and communication burdens of traditional MPC. We introduce an ET-MPC framework utilizing a model-free reinforcement learning agent with proximal policy optimization (PPO). This agent interacts with the MPC system, progressively learning to determine the optimal event-triggered mechanism. To enhance exploration and training efficiency, we incorporate the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) technique into PPO. Experimental results show that the proposed ET-MPC framework, combined with reinforcement learning for reward optimization, demonstrates superior overall performance in path-tracking control of four-wheel steering vehicles. © 2024 IEEE.

In VANETs, the important and effective applications of vehicle localization include safety and communication applications. Thus, it is difficult to get very accurate localization in the dynamic and often very fluctuating environment of VANET. This research responds to this challenge with a keen thrust on improving vehicle localization using the Mobility Data Verification process. The primary goal of this work is to achieve high accuracy of vehicle positioning within VANET by checking the coherence of mobility data of moving vehicles. Hence, we present a concept that builds upon Mobility Data Verification to provide real-time location details from vehicles. Both GPS and onboard sensors feed this method, which uses a multi-level verification to flag out or eliminate the errors of deliberately spoofed data points. We use simulations to evaluate and validate the effectiveness of the proposed verification approach. As the proposed system, our previously developed and fine-tuned weighted localization (OWL) strategy does so. The performance evaluation results suggest that our proposed solution is feasible to distinguish automobiles that are not trustworthy and improve the performance of the localization algorithm. © 2024 IEEE.

Time-sensitive software-defined network (TSSDN) not only have the networking flexibility of software-defined network (SDN), but also have the advantages of time-sensitive network (TSN). This technology provides real-time guarantees for time-triggered traffic in time-sensitive systems by limiting nondeterministic queuing delays for time-sensitive traffic. However, the effectiveness of some low-latency indirect paths may be affected when network topology changed if the information of network device changes cannot be delivered in a timely and reliable manner, and then the performance and reliability of the entire network will be affected. Therefore, we first discuss and summarize the integration issues of TSN and SDN in the control plane, focus on outlining the architectural differences of existing designs especially. Then we propose a scheme to build the control plane over TSN. The advantage is this scheme can improve the unreliable transmission problem of network performance and the reliability related information by using the characteristics of TSN, such as low delay and high reliability. We summarize our scheme as fully time-sensitive software-defined network (FTSSDN) and elaborate on each functional level. Another proposal also been raised to replace all non-TSN devices working in the forwarding plane with TSN capable devices to avoid the occurrence of nondeterministic connections. © 2023 IEEE.

Finding Misstatement Accounts in Financial Statements through Ontology Reasoning

Finding misstatement accounts in financial statements, is a key problem of fraud detection. Potential applications include external audit, internal controls, investment decision and securities market regulation. However, most existing intelligent methods just detect financial statements fraud at the company level, while little research can detect financial statements fraud at the account level. For this, to achieve intelligent fraud detection at the accounts level, an ontology-based fraud detection framework was proposed. To be specific, the proposed framework mainly combines the articulation between different accounts and periods, and 30 financial indicators (ratios) as the knowledge basis of ontology. Notably, with OWL (Ontology Web Language), SWRL (Semantic Web Rule Language) and Protégé ontology editor, the case study not only completed the fraud detection in a fast and timely manner, but also provided logical explanation and risk warning at the accounts level. This fully shows the great advantages and applicability of the proposed framework in the detection of misstatements accounts. Moreover, the proposed framework is of great significance for timely detection, prevention and response of financial statements fraud. More importantly, the proposed framework opens-up a new direction of using ontology reasoning techniques to find misstatement accounts in financial statements, which provides an interpretable and fine-grained way for fraud detection. The emergence of 6G networks requires innovative antenna designs that operate at extremely high frequencies. The proposed paper explores the application of advanced machine learning techniques to optimize the design of antennas for 6G applications at 15 GHz. Traditional design methods are often time-consuming and depend on expert knowledge, whereas machine learning can automate and expedite this process. We developed a dataset incorporating critical antenna design parameters such as geometric dimensions and applied algorithms to predict key performance metrics like return loss, gain, and bandwidth. Our results demonstrate that neural networks, in particular, offer superior predictive accuracy, significantly reducing design iteration times. This integration of machine learning into antenna design not only improves performance but also facilitates the development of adaptive antenna systems, meeting the stringent demands of 6G networks. This research highlights the potential of machine learning to revolutionize antenna design, enabling rapid and efficient development of next-generation communication systems. © 2024 IEEE.

An advanced hybrid renewable energy collecting and storage system prototype that utilizes water flow as its primary power source. Additionally, the system incorporates an energy monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The device effectively harnesses energy from the movement of water, storing it for future use in low-voltage applications. It demonstrates a maximum daily energy capture capacity of about 100Wh. The energy monitoring system, based on the Internet of Things (IoT), enables the real-time and remote monitoring of energy harvesting and usage. We thoroughly assessed the energy harvesting component across different situations to identify the crucial parameters that impact energy output. The results of our study demonstrate that several elements, including the spatial separation 'between the energy harvester and the water source, Water flow' speed, sensor orientation, and sensor density, all play significant roles in determining the quantity of energy collected. This research shows that it is possible to integrate IoT technology with hydropower renewable energy systems. It provides significant perspectives on enhancing energy extraction efficiency in practical scenarios. © 2024 IEEE.
