When a gas expands through a convergent nozzle in which the ratio of the ambient to the stagnation pressures is higher than that of the critical one, the issuing jet from the nozzle is under-expanded. If a flat plate is placed normal to the jet at a certain distance from the nozzle, a detached shock wave is formed at a region between the nozzle exit and the plate. In general, supersonic moist air jet technologies with non-equilibrium condensation are very often applied to industrial manufacturing processes. In spite of the importance in major characteristics of the supersonic moist air jets impinging to a solid body, its qualitative characteristics are not known satisfactorily. In the present study, the effect of the non-equilibrium condensation on the under-expanded air jet impinging on a vertical flat plate is investigated numerically in the case with non-equilibrium condensation, frequency of oscillation for the flow field becomes larger than that without the non-equilibrium condensation, and amplitudes of static pressure become small compared with those of dry air. Furthermore, the numerical results are compared with experimental ones.

In this paper, we consider a multi-vehicle coordination problem(MVCP), in which heterogeneous vehicles with different resources cooperate to accomplish a set of tasks. The distinct characters of MVCP are the duration of each task may vary within a given interval, and the objective is to allocate and schedule the vehicles to maximize the total time slacks between tasks given the deadline. The time slack represents the fleet's capability to tolerate the temporal uncertainty. A model for MVCP is built and a solving method based on the Simulated Annealing Algorithm is proposed. The result of experiments shows the efficiency of the method.

With 2 kW continuous wave Nd-YAG laser, SiC ceramic powder was laser-cladded on the AA6061 aluminium alloy surface. Within the range of process parameters investigated, the parameters were optimized to produce the SiC_p reinforced metal matrix composites(MMC) modified layer on AA6061 alloy surface. After being treated, the modified layer is crack-free, porosity-free, and has good metallurgical bond with the substrate. The microstructure and chemical composition of the modified layer were analyzed by such detection devices as scanning electronic microscope(SEM-EDX) and X-ray diffractometer(XRD). The performance of electrochemical corrosion and cavitation erosion and their mechanism were estimated by the microhardness tester, potentiostat and (ultrasonic-)(induced) cavitation device.

The rapid development of mobile technology has further promoted the scale of real-time applications, such as mobile payment, real-time positioning and mobile communication. At the same time, fault-tolerant requirements of data and process for applications increasingly emerged. Complexity and particularity of the traditional fault-tolerant mechanisms in cloud can’t meet the modern fault-tolerant requirements and consume a lot of cloud resources. To solve this problem, we propose an efficient learning-based fault-tolerant model, Nebula, Nebula not only ensuring the fault tolerance of real-time application, but also greatly improving the utilization of cloud resources.
