Multithreaded programs execute nondeterministically on conventional architectures and operating systems. This complicates many tasks, including debugging and testing. Deterministic multithreading (DMT) makes the output of a multithreaded program depend on its inputs only, which can totally solve the above problem. However, current DMT implementations suffer from a common inefficiency: they use frequent global barriers to enforce a deterministic ordering on memory accesses. In this paper, we eliminate that inefficiency using an execution model we call deterministic lazy release consistency (DLRC). Our execution model uses the Kendo algorithm to enforce a deterministic ordering on synchronization, and it uses a deterministic version of the lazy release consistency memory model to propagate memory updates across threads. Our approach guarantees that programs execute deterministically even when they contain data races. We implemented a DMT system based on these ideas (RFDet) and evaluated it using 16 parallel applications. Our implementation targets C/C++ programs that use POSIX threads. Results show that RFDet gains nearly 2x speedup compared with DThreads-a start-of-the-art DMT system. © 2014 ACM.

With the rapid development of Internet technology, various network attack methods come out one after the other. SQL injection has become one of the most severe threats to Web applications and seriously threatens various Web application services and users data security. There are both traditional detection methods and emerging methods based on deep learning technology with higher detection accuracy for the detection of SQL injection. However, they are all for detecting a single statement and cannot determine the stage of the attack. To further improve the effect of SQL injection detection, this paper proposes an integrated detection framework for SQL injection behavior based on both text features and traffic features. We propose a SQL-LSTM model based on deep learning technology as the detection model at the text features level. Meanwhile, the features of the data traffic are merged. Image restoration problems are typical ill-posed problems where the regularization term plays an important role. The regularization term learned via generative approaches is easy to transfer to various image restoration, but offers inferior restoration quality compared with that learned via discriminative approaches. On the contrary, the regularization term learned via discriminative approaches are usually trained for a specific image restoration problem, and fail in the problem for which it is not trained. To address this issue, we propose a generic diffusion process (genericDP) to handle multiple Gaussian denoising problems based on the Trainable Non-linear Reaction Diffusion (TNRD) models. Instead of one model, which consists of a diffusion and a reaction term, for one Gaussian denoising problem in TNRD, we enforce multiple TNRD models to share one diffusion term. The trained genericDP model can provide both promising denoising performance and high training efficiency compared with the original TNRD models. We also transfer the trained diffusion term to non-blind deconvolution which is unseen in the training phase. Experiment results show that the trained diffusion term for multiple Gaussian denoising can be transferred to image non-blind deconvolution as an image prior and provide competitive performance. © 2018. JointCloud computing is a new generation cloud computing model based on collaboration among Cloud Service Providers, making resources from multiple clouds deeply integrated., and supporting customize cloud service. To achieve the data confirmation Right when doing data trading to prevent resell is one of the most important challenges faced by such JointCloud environment. In this paper, we propose the JointCloud Computing Data Trading Architecture (JCDTA), an optimized data trading architecture for cross-stakeholder. Firstly, the announced mechanism is used to extract the data resources summary and the owner information into blockchain. Secondly, the untampering of the blockchain is used to record the data resources information, such as data resources statement information, data resources transaction records and data resources operation records. Finally, the supervision mechanism confirms the declaration of the data sources while the encryption technology ensures the privacy of the data resources. JCDTA guarantees the security and the reliability of data trading in the JointCloud environment and ensures the value invariance of data resources. © 2018 IEEE.

Accurate and efficient airway segmentation is essential for evaluating pulmonary diseases, aiding diagnosis, reducing the preoperative burden of airway identification, and minimizing patient discomfort during prolonged surgeries. However, current pulmonary airway reconstruction techniques are hindered by two major challenges: difficulty in accurately reconstructing fine airway branches due to the tendency to overlook small targets, and insufficient structural connectivity leading to frequent branch discontinuities within the airway tree. These limitations directly affect the clinical applicability of reconstructed airways. To overcome these challenges, a novel 3D pulmonary airway segmentation multi-task framework is proposed, designed to enhance the performance of existing backbone models. This approach integrates Anatomical Prior-Based Multi-Task Learning (AP-MTL) through the use of Gaussian-constructed connectivity-enhanced isosurfaces, significantly improving the network's ability to maintain airway continuity. Additionally, a Class-Balanced CT Density Distribution Reconstruction mechanism (DDR-CB) is introduced, further refining the model's capability to detect and segment fine airway branches. As a result of these enhancements, the model demonstrates a 11.5% average improvement in segmentation accuracy and connectivity compared to the baseline. User-Item (U-I) matrix has been used as the dominant data infrastructure of Collaborative Filtering (CF). To reduce space consumption in runtime and storage, caused by data sparsity and growing need to accommodate side information in CF design, one needs to go beyond the U-I Matrix. In this paper, we took a case study of Succinct Representations in Collaborative Filtering, rather than using a U-I Matrix. Our key insight is to introduce Succinct Data Structures as a new infrastructure of CF. Towards this, we implemented a User-based K-Nearest-Neighbor CF prototype via Wavelet Tree, by first designing a Accessible Compressed Documents (ACD) to compress U-I data in Wavelet Tree, which is efficient in both storage and runtime. Then, we showed that ACD can be applied to develop an efficient intersection algorithm without decompression, by taking advantage of ACD's characteristics. We evaluated our design on 1,000 cores of Tianhe-II supercomputer, with one of the largest public data set ml-20m. The results showed that our prototype could achieve 3.7 minutes on average to deliver the results. © 2019 IEEE.

Trace-oriented runtime monitoring is a very effective method to improve the reliability of distributed systems. However, for medium-scale distributed systems, existing trace-oriented monitoring frameworks are either not powerful or efficient enough, or too complex and expensive to deploy and maintain. In this paper, we present MTracer, which is a lightweight trace-oriented monitoring system for medium-scale distributed systems. We have proposed and implemented several optimizations to improve the efficiency of the monitor server in MTracer. A web-based frontend is also provided to visualize a monitored system from different perspectives. We have validated MTracer in a real medium-scale environment. The results indicate that MTracer has a very lower overhead, and can handle more than 4000 events per second.

Blockchain technology has been extensively uti-lized in decentralized data-sharing applications, with the immutability of blockchain providing a witness for the circulation of data. However, current blockchain data-sharing solutions still fail to address the simultaneous screening needs of both the sender and receiver with multi-keywords. Without the capability to support bilateral simultaneous filtering, the disclosure of reasons for matching failures could inadvertently expose sensitive user data. Therefore, the challenge lies in enabling ciphertexts with multiple keywords and receivers with multiple interests to achieve mutual and simultaneous matching. Based on the technical foundations of SE (Searchable Encryption), MABE (Multi-Attribute Based Encryption), and polynomial fitting, this paper proposes a scheme called DMSA (Decentralized and Multi-keyword selective Sharing and selective Acquisition). This scheme can satisfy soundness, enabling ciphertexts carrying multiple keywords and receivers representing multiple interests to match each other simultaneously. We conducted a security analysis that confirms the security of DMSA against chosen-plaintext attacks. Our experimental results demonstrate a significant efficiency improvement, with a 67% increase over single-keyword data-sharing schemes and a 16% enhancement compared to the existing multi-keyword data-sharing solution. © 2024 IEEE.
