In this paper, we propose a tensor-based non-local filtering technique for image and MRI denoising using Bayesian CP factorization (BCPF). This approach simply groups together similar sub-tensors (e.g., 3D tensors) selected from a noisy tensor and forms a 4D stack, then decomposes this stack into latent factors by employing BCPF, resulting in a filtered group of 3D sub-tensors. This procedure is repeated across the entire tensor in sliding window fashion to obtain the denoised result of original tensor. Our Bayesian CP factorization can learn CP-rank as well as noise variance solely from the observed noisy tensor data, which can also avoid overfitting problem by employing a fully Bayesian treatment for latent factor inference. The main advantage of our method is that the standard deviation of Gaussion noise can be automatically inferred and not necessary to be fixed. The experimental results on image and MRI denoising demonstrate the superiorities of our method in terms of flexibility and performance, as compared to other tensor-based denoising methods.

The spatial correlation of target echoes is important to jointly process signals received at each radar substation in distributed radar system. On the background of space surveillance with two independent monostatic radars, a three-dimensional cylinder target scattering model and echo signal model are built combined the orbital motion. The echoes spatial correlation is analysed and correlation coefficient which varies with the included angle between two radars and target is derived. The reasonableness of target scattering model and validity of theoretical analysis are proved via simulation examples.

Introducing compressive sensing theory to solve multiple targets localization problem is a promising method by only considering received signal's power. In previous researches, the targets are assumed to be positioned into an regular mesh grid and restoration model according to compressive underdetermined equation is built to recover the positions of unknown targets. However, it is inconvenient to arrange sensors on grids in practice and the recovered locations were bound to grid points that may deviate the target positions comparing to the real ones. In this paper, we propose a Delaunay triangulation grid generation algorithm through randomly deployed sensors' positions. Moreover, a sparse position vector diversity combining algorithm, based on OMP, is also been proposed. It lowers the possibility of the emergence of the false locations and greatly improves the accuracy of targets' positions.

A microwave tunable substrate integrated waveguide bandpass filter using nematic liquid crystals is researched in this paper combined with the complementary split-ring resonators. The nematic liquid crystal is used to control the corresponding working frequency, with its permittivity changing caused by deflection angle of the liquid crystal molecules. And its deflection angle changing is controlled by the bias voltage. The simulation results show that the permittivity of liquid crystal changes from 2.79 to 3.56 to make the passband frequency achieve 490 MHz frequency offset.

Person re-identification is one of the hot topics in computer vision. How to design a robust feature representation to identify pedestrians is a key problem for person re-identification. In this paper, a feature representation based on Multi-Statistics Cascade on Pyramid (MSCP) is proposed for person re-identification. The MSCP feature is composed of deep PCA network feature and hand-crafted features of Local Maximal Occurrence (LOMO) feature and color correlogram. MSCP can characterize the pedestrian images precisely from both global and local views. The Cross-view Quadratic Discriminant Analysis (XQDA) is employed to learn the distance metric of MSCP features. And then a novel re-identification method based on MSCP and XQDA is achieved. Experimental results on VIPeR Dataset demonstrate that our proposed method can achieve superior identification performance compared with six state-of-art methods.

Distributed passive radar imaging has been an emerging topic in radar imaging society because of its low-cost, increased-survivability and robustness. In the inverse problem of distributed passive imaging, location of receivers affects imaging quality a lot, while illuminators of opportunity remain to be uncontrollable. Therefore, we investigate the problem of receiver disposition optimization and propose the optimal scheme to locate those receivers by combining genetic algorithm(GA) with compressive sensing(CS) based imaging technique. Simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

A dielectric rod antenna(DRA) is used as the feed of the dual reflector antenna, due to its advantages of narrow beam, high gain and radiates a rotationally symmetric radiation pattern. A stringing Electromagnetic ban-gap (S-EBG) structure is proposed in this paper for coupling reduction of microstrip antenna array. The The S-EBG is constructed by interlinking three mushroom-type EBG in a line with a strip. While in the antenna element assembling direction, it is only one period and maintains a compact array. The structure is easy fabrication, assembling and no etching in the ground plane. A reference microstrip antenna array (RMAA), one conventional mushroom-type (CMT-EBG) element loaded microstrip antenna array (O-CMT-EBG-LMAA), and three CMT-EBG elements loaded microstrip antenna array (T-CMT-EBG-LMAA) were also studied. Research found over 20 dB coupling reduction is achieved by the S-EBG. Thus, the proposed S-EBG is good candidate for array coupling reduction.
