We present a new way called Persona Analysis with Text Topic Modelling (PATTM), which tries to learn the role of personae according to the literal descriptions. It is similar to Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) and Author Topic (AT) model, with the attribute of allowing all text to join in the topic modelling process, even when there is no persona in the text. We experiment on the Libya Event data set which contains more than 4,000 texts collected from the Internet. The PATTM gives lower perplexity than LDA and AT model on the data set.

Increasing integration time can improve the detection performance of weak targets. However, the signal energy could not be effectively accumulated, because the high-speed motion of a target induces range migration and Doppler walk in long-time coherent integration period. Thus the motion compensation is necessary. Unfortunately, the traditional methods based on keystone transform are only suitable for uniform motion targets, while the range curvature of maneuvering targets can not be corrected by keystone transform. In this paper, for moving target with constant acceleration and Doppler ambiguity, a new method is proposed by constructing the two-dimensional compression function in range-Doppler frequency domain, which can eliminate the coupling effect between range and azimuth. This method does not require target velocity parameters and can correct the range migration caused by radial velocity and radial acceleration. The proposed algorithm can be efficiently implemented by using fast Fourier transform without interpolation and thus has low computational complexity. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm improves the performance for detecting high-speed maneuvering targets.

Most of nonuniform filter banks designed by existing methods are not linear phase. In order to solving the problem, a novel method for designing linear-phase nonuniform filter banks is proposed in this paper. By analyzing the filter banks structure with block decimation transformed to rational decimation, we get an interpolated filter banks structure which removes the mirror frequency brought from interpolation. The filter banks are obtained by cosine modulation in this paper, and the prototype filters are interpolated and filtered before modulation. To make sure the significant aliasing distortions are cancelled completely, all prototype filters are designed with consistent transition band performance, using the optimization algorithm. Simulation results demonstrate that the linear-phase nonuniform filter banks designed by the proposed method have small amplitude distortions and aliasing distortions.
