At present, nuclear safety-class DCS can deal with the common cause failure of digital control system software system by building hardware logic control circuit. Different from the digital control system, the hardware logic control circuit is mainly designed and realized by switches, relays and delay relays, which improves the diversity of the system. However, when the safety-class DCS put into operation, the hardware logic control system fault troubleshooting, regular test and other work is relatively heavy. In order to improve the testability and maintainability of safety-class DCS hardware logic control system, this paper proposes a scheme based on the modular hardware logic design method and the matching hardware logic test device. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

AlMoON based solar selective absorption coatings were deposited on stainless steel substrate by magnetron *** coatings included infrared reflection layer Mo,absorption layer AlMoN,absorption layer AlMoON and antireflection layer AlMoO from bottom to *** surface of the deposited coatings is flat without obvious *** absorptivity and emissivity are 0.896 and 0.09,respectively,and the quality factor is *** heat treatment at 500℃-36 h,the surface roughness of the coating increases,a small number of cracks and other defects appear,and the broken part is still attached to the coating surface.A certain degree of element diffusion occurs in the coatings,resulting in the decline of the optical properties of the *** absorptivity and emissivity are 0.883 and 0.131,respectively,the quality factor is 7.06,and the PC value is *** coatings do not fail under this condition and have certain thermal stability.

A mixed adaptive dynamic programming(ADP)scheme based on zero-sum game theory is developed to address optimal control problems of autonomous underwater vehicle(AUV)systems subject to disturbances and safe *** combining prior dynamic knowledge and actual sampled data,the proposed approach effectively mitigates the defect caused by the inaccurate dynamic model and significantly improves the training speed of the ADP ***,the dataset is enriched with sufficient reference data collected based on a nominal model without considering modelling ***,the control object interacts with the real environment and continuously gathers adequate sampled data in the *** comprehensively leverage the advantages of model-based and model-free methods during training,an adaptive tuning factor is introduced based on the dataset that possesses model-referenced information and conforms to the distribution of the real-world environment,which balances the influence of model-based control law and data-driven policy gradient on the direction of policy *** a result,the proposed approach accelerates the learning speed compared to data-driven methods,concurrently also enhancing the tracking performance in comparison to model-based control ***,the optimal control problem under disturbances is formulated as a zero-sum game,and the actor-critic-disturbance framework is introduced to approximate the optimal control input,cost function,and disturbance policy,***,the convergence property of the proposed algorithm based on the value iteration method is ***,an example of AUV path following based on the improved line-of-sight guidance is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Computational fluid dynamics simulations of spray tests in a multicompartment construction with an Eulerian–Lagrangian approach

This paper is an investigation of the gas mixing and depressurization effects of containment spray on hydrogen risk during a typical severe accident in a light water reactor (LWR). Two spray tests (ST3_0 and ST3_1) were simulated using the OECD/SETH-2 project frame;the tests were performed with different preconditions in two interconnected vessels of the PANDA facility by focusing on the breaking-up of the stratified helium-rich layer and helium transport between the interconnected vessels with and without heat and mass transfer. The computational fluid dynamics simulations were performed using an Eulerian–Lagrangian approach, in which the dispersed droplets were tracked with a Lagrangian framework and the heat and mass transfer model between the droplets and gas were developed through user-defined functions. The simulation results are in reasonable agreement with the test data and reproduce the main phenomena of the spray tests. Although the proposed approach is adequate for addressing similar problems, some discrepancies still exist in the simulations. Based on these discrepancies, some recommendations are suggested to improve the accuracy of the proposed approach. Copyright © 2024 Lu, Ran and Wei.

Efficient removal of trace radiostrontium from contaminated highly saline wastewater,such as seawater,remains a critical but challenging task due to the coexistence of large excess of hard cations like Na+,K+,Mg2+and particularly Ca2+,which shares similar physicochemical properties with Sr2+.Herein,we successfully boosted the selectivity by a sulfhydryl-functionalized NaA zeolite（SH-NaA） via ion exchange coupled with reinforced soft-soft interactions between sulfhydryl groups and Sr2+.Remarkably,SH-NaA achieved a 99.8%removal efficiency of Sr2+in the presence of a tenfold excess of Ca2+,with a distribution coefficient（Kd） of 4.98×10～5mL/*** effectiveness of SH-NaA in accurately capturing Sr2+was further validated by its superior dynamic adsorption performance in natural seawater compared to pristine NaA *** experiments highlighted SH-NaA’s exceptional Sr2+removal efficiency（qm=233.36 mg/g）,rapid adsorption kinetics（1 min）,superior decontamination depth（Kd=6.71×10～5mL/g）,and robust irradiation stability（400 kGy γ-ray）.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPS） and in situ Fouriertransform infrared（FTIR） analyses underscored the pivotal role of sulfhydryl groups in Sr2+*** functional theory（DFT） calculations revealed that the sulfhydryl-functionalized NaA zeolite exhibits the best selectivity toward Sr2+,with an interaction energy of-2.55 *** findings demonstrate that organic group functionalized zeolites hold significant promise for environmental remediation applications.

131I activity in coolant under transient conditions is an important input for SGTR accident source term analysis in nuclear power plant, which directly affects whether the radioactive consequences of SGTR can meet the regulatory requirements. Based on the measurement results of 131I source term of several units in nuclear power plant A during shutdown, this paper study the variation law of 131I source term in the transient process of shutdown, analyzes the causes of 131I peak release, calculates the 131I release rate in the transient process, and obtains the following conclusions: 1) the 131I release rate based on the measured value is significantly lower than that used in the current safety analysis;2) The larger the fuel rod break size, the smaller the peak factor of 131I in the primary circuit during transient. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The cladding material serves as the primary safety barrier in nuclear power plants, and its performance significantly impacts the service life and safety reliability of fuel elements. Zirconium-based alloys (Zr), widely utilized as cladding materials in light water reactors (boiling water reactors and pressurized water reactors), face numerous challenges in an environment characterized by increasing fuel consumption, with corrosion being the foremost concern. The corrosion of Zr alloys involves multiple influencing factors, including temperature, chemical environment of water, evolution process of second phases, destruction-regeneration cycle of oxidation films, stress accumulation, volume changes, defect formation, and irradiation effects. This paper provides a comprehensive review on the field of aqueous-side corrosion of Zr alloys while also discussing technical approaches to enhance their corrosion resistance properties and presenting current development status regarding predictive technologies for assessing corrosion behavior along with predicting future trends. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

With the ever-increasing diversification of people’s interests and preferences,artwork has become one of the most popular commodities or investment goods in E-commerce,and it increasingly attracts the attention of the ***,many real-world or virtual artworks can be found in E-commerce,and finding a means to recommend them to appropriate users has become a significant task to alleviate the heavy burden on artwork selection decisions by *** research mainly studies the problem of single-artwork recommendation while neglecting the more practical but more complex composite recommendation of artworks in E-commerce,which considerably influences the quality of experience of potential users,especially when they need to select a set of artworks instead of a single *** by this limitation,we put forward a novel composite recommendation approach to artworks by a user keyword-driven correlation graph search named ART_(com-rec).Through ART_(com-rec),the recommender system can output a set of artworks(e.g.,an artwork composite solution)in E-commerce by considering the keywords typed by a user to indicate his or her personalized ***,we validate the feasibility of the ART_(com-rec) approach by a set of simulated experiments on a real-world PW dataset.

Strengthening in gradient TiAl alloys

Gradient structure is emerging as an effective strategy to fabricate metals with remarkable mechanical performance,but have not been verified in intermetallic compounds for high-temperature *** experiments and atomic simulations,we show that a typical intermetallic TiAl alloy with gra-dient structure has a significant strengthening effect both at room temperature and high *** room-temperature compressive strength of TiAl alloys with gradient grain obtained by additive man-ufacturing is 2.57 GPa,which is∼2.7 times as strong as that with equiaxed *** strengthening effect is attributed to more sessile dislocations in gradient structure caused by the intersections of mul-tiple slip systems in gradient *** importantly,the strengthening effect is still effective at high temperatures and the compressive strength is 1.28 GPa at 750°*** simulation results show that this strengthening effect is due to the increased Hirth dislocation at high *** study expands the applications of TiAl alloys for load-bearing structures and provides a new strategy for improving the strength of intermetallic compounds at both room temperature and high temperatures.

Single-phase face-centered cubic(fcc)medium-and high-entropy alloys(MEAs/HEAs)have high ductility but low yield *** this work,the microstructures of single-phase fcc Ni_(2)CoFeV_(0.5) MEAs were tailored by cold-rolling and subsequent annealing and typical heterogeneous lamella(HL)structures composed of recrystallized micro-grain lamellae(with an averaged grain size of∼4μm)and nonrecrystallized nano-/ultrafine-grain lamellae were *** tests revealed that most HL samples exhibited excellent strength and ductility *** HL sample with∼23 vol%recrystallized grains annealed at 590℃ for 1 h had a high yield strength of 1120 MPa and a good fracture elongation of 12.3%,which increased by 5%and 46%,respectively compared with those of as-rolled ***-induced yield strength increase is attributed to high-density annealing twin boundaries(TBs)in the recrystallized grains,the annihilation of mobile dislocations inside the non-recrystallized grains,and extra heterodeformation-induced strengthening produced by the HL ***-Petch relationship of Ni_(2)CoFeV_(0.5) MEA can be reasonably described by counting both TBs and grain boundaries,with lattice friction stress of 87.3 MPa and coefficient of 722.8 MPaμm1/*** work provides optional and controllable solutions for preparing MEAs/HEAs with excellent mechanical properties by low-cost and high-efficiency thermomechanical treatments.
