Interplay between the atomic structures and superconductivity of two-monolayer Pb films

Superconductors with reduced dimensionality have been widely explored for their exotic superconducting ***,at the two-dimensional limit,two-monolayer Pb films with two types of structures provide an ideal platform to unveil the underlying superconducting mechanism[science 324,1314(2009)].Here,by combining scanning tunneling microscopy(STM)with the first-principle calculations,we successfully identify that these two types have different atomic lattice structures with varying stacking phases,which further enables us to calculate the phonon spectrum and electron phonon coupling strength of each *** theoretical calculations are in good agreement with tunneling spectroscopy measurements of the superconducting transition temperatures(T_(c)),which established a correlation between atomic structures and ***,it was observed that the higher T_(c)of these two types also possess higher out-of-plane upper critical magnetic fields(Hc2).These findings will provide important new insights into two-dimensional superconductivity at the atomic level.

Preparation of baicalin colon-targeted granules and its intervention effect on ulcerative colitis in rats

Baicalin(BA)is a flavonoid extracted from the dried root of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi with excellent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory biological *** this study,Eudragit S100 was used as the colonic target material to prepare BA colonic targeting granules(EBCGs)based on plasticizer dry powder coating technology to improve the targeting transportation performance of *** vitro studies showed that EBCGs with pH-sensitive properties were successfully prepared by plasticizer dry powder coating,and in vivo animal imaging studies showed that EBCGs could deliver BA to the colon and inhibit the release of BA in the upper gastrointestinal tract(GIT).In vivo studies showed that EBCGs had good therapeutic effects in colitis,which reduced expression levels of tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α)and interleukin-1β(IL-1β)and increased superoxide dismutase(SOD)activities in the colonic tissues of rats with *** conclusion,Eudragit S100 could be used for the preparation of multi-unit oral colon-targeted formulations by plasticizer dry powder coating technology,and our prepared EBCGs had good colon-targeting properties,which could improve the therapeutic effect and provide a potential application for ulcerative colitis(UC).

Dynamics of perinuclear actin ring regulating nuclear morphology

Cells are capable of sensing and responding to the extracellular mechanical microenvironment via the actin *** vivo,tissues are frequently subject to mechanical forces,such as the rapid and significant shear flow encountered by vascular endothelial ***,the investigations about the transient response of intracellular actin networks under these intense external mechanical forces,their intrinsic mechanisms,and potential implications are very ***,we observe that when cells are subject to the shear flow,an actin ring structure could be rapidly assembled at the periphery of the *** gain insights into the mechanism underlying this perinuclear actin ring assembly,we develop a computational model of actin *** demonstrate that this perinuclear actin ring assembly is triggered by the depolymerization of cortical actin,Arp2/3-dependent actin filament polymerization,and myosin-mediated actin network ***,we discover that the compressive stress generated by the perinuclear actin ring could lead to a reduction in the nuclear spreading area,an increase in the nuclear height,and a decrease in the nuclear *** present model thus explains the mechanism of the perinuclear actin ring assembly under external mechanical forces and suggests that the spontaneous contraction of this actin structure can significantly impact nuclear morphology.

The reactor system has a large scale of components. And the system dynamic analysis model for loss of coolant accidents (LOCA) contains many non-linear factors. The transient calculation analysis takes a long time and the convergence is difficult to guarantee. In this paper, two different analysis models (complete three-loop model and single-loop model) of the first loop system of reactor are established for comparative analysis. The analysis shows that the calculation error of the main position load in the two different model is within 10%. The decoupling influence of the wave tube and the reactor inlet and outlet on the system dynamic characteristics is within an acceptable range. When the single loop model is used, it is necessary to decouple the reactor pressure vessel and pressurizer. And the simplified boundary is adapted to simulate its effect on the whole loop. The single-loop dynamic analysis model based on the decoupling criterion can greatly reduce the calculation scale and meet the calculation accuracy, which can be used to calculate the LOCA dynamic characteristics of the reactor system quickly. The model can also be used for seismic analysis of reactor system. And using this model for reactor system dynamic analysis can greatly improve the calculation efficiency. The existing drive method of the main equipment transporter of the nuclear island makes the transporter have frequent jamming problems when the transporter going straight and turning, which affects the safety during the transporter of the main equipment. Therefore, it is necessary to design an on-board multi-motor synchronous system with differential synchronization function. Although the traditional virtual line-shafting structure has the ability of same-speed synchronization and differential synchronization, there is a large synchronization error. For this reason, this paper proposes a multi-motor synchronous control method based on the improved virtual line-shafting structure, which can effectively solve the inherent synchronous delay problem of the virtual line-shafting. First, analyze and research the combination method of virtual line-shafting structure and deviation coupling structure, and designs the electronic differential to be able to adapt to the requirements of same-speed and differential synchronization. Then the influence of virtual line-shafting parameters on the system is analyzed using the root locus method, and a simplified parameter model of the virtual line-shafting is established, on the basis of which an improved virtual line-shafting control method with low synchronous delay is proposed. In the field repair application of laser metal deposition(LMD),the kinds of powder materials that can be used are limited,while the equipment components are made of various *** many components have to be repaired with heterogeneous ***,it is difficult to match the mechanical properties between the repaired layer and the substrate due to the diff erent *** on the high flexibility of raw materials and processes in LMD,an in-situ alloying method is proposed herein for tailoring the mechanical properties of LMDed *** diff erent mixing ratios of Fe314 and 316 L stainless steel powders as the control parameter,the microstructure and mechanical properties of B-bearing austenitic stainless steel fabricated by LMD in-situ alloying with diff erent proportions of Fe314 and 316 L particles were *** the increase in the concentration of 316 L steel,the volume fraction of the eutectic phase in deposited B-bearing austenitic stainless steel reduced,the size of the austenite dendrite increased,the yield strength and ultimate tensile strength decreased monotonically,while the elongation increased ***,the fracture mode changed from quasi-cleavage fracture to ductile *** adding 316 L powder,the yield strength,tensile strength,and elongation of deposited B-bearing austenitic stainless steel could be adjusted within the range of 712 MPa–257 MPa,1325 MPa–509 MPa,and 8.7%–59.3%,***,this work provides a new method and idea for solving the performance matching problem of equipment components in the field repair.

designing microstructurally stable FeCrAl alloys with excellent strength-ductility synergy is highly desir-able for their engineering ***,due to the preference nucleation of precipitates at grain boundaries(GBs),the improved precipitation strengthening of these alloys is usually accompanied by in-tergranular ***,we propose a novel thermomechanical processing route coupled with the Si alloying strategy via precipitation of coherent deformable Laves precipitates inside equiaxed fine-grains to achieve FeCrAl alloys with ultrahigh yield strength over∼992 MPa,excellent uniform elongation of∼7.6%at room temperature,and superior thermal stability at temperature∼1200℃.The Si alloying not only decreases the stacking fault energy of Laves precipitates favorable for their stacking-fault-mediated deformation but also hinders grain coarsening at 1200℃due to the Si-enrichment favorable for GB pin-ning *** results prove the possibility of achieving the collaborative enhancement of mutually exclusive properties in alloys,such as strength-ductility-thermal stability via nanoprecipitation engineer-ing,and offer a promising route to prepare dispersion-strengthened materials.

A numerical method for predicting bursting strength of composite rocket motor case considering filament winding process-induced stress

A numerical method to predict the bursting strength of filament wound composite rocket motor case is proposed *** method can evaluate the longitudinal stress evolution of each composite layer as impregnated filaments with fiber tension are wound layer by layer,and consider the effects of accumulated stress and deformation during filament winding on the bursting strength of composite ***∅520 mm composite cases as a case study,the filament-winding-process-induced stress and deformation as well as progressive damage behavior are numerically predicted,followed by a comparison with experimental *** numerical results show that the predicted bursting pressures for composite cases manufactured on the mandrels with and without a flexible component are 14.20 MPa and 21.40 MPa,*** values exhibit slight deviation from the measured pressures of 13.50 MPa and 21.57 ***,the predicted damage locations,situated respectively in the dome and cylinder,agree well with the experimental *** observations indicate that use of flexible component reduces the load-bearing capacity of the ***,it validates the reliability and accuracy of the proposed numerical method in predicting the bursting strength of composite cases.

Study on the effects of combustion characteristics of pyrotechnic charges on pyrotechnic shocks

This study calculates the combustion characteristics of various gas-generating and micro gas pyrotechnic charges,including aluminium/potassium perchlorate,boron/potassium nitrate,carbon black/potassium nitrate,and silicon-based delay compositions,using thermodynamic software.A multiphase flowthermal-solid coupling model was established,and the combustion process of the pyrotechnic charges within a closed bomb was *** pyrotechnic shock generated by combustion was *** combustion pressures and pyrotechnic shocks were *** simulation results demonstrated good agreement with experimental ***,the mechanism of shock generation by the combustion of pyrotechnic charges in the closed bomb was *** effects of the combustion characteristics of the pyrotechnic charges on the resulting pyrotechnic shocks were systematically ***,the shock response spectrum of the gas-generating pyrotechnic charges is greater than that of the micro gas compositions at most frequencies,particularly in the mid-field pyrotechnic shocks(3-10 kHz).Furthermore,the pyrotechnic shocks increase approximately linearly with the impulse of the gas-generating pyrotechnic charges.

Since the NRC issued the PSA policy in 1995, PSA containing risk information has been widely used in supervision and design. Subsequently, the concept of "risk-informed" has gained more and more recognition, and its application has expanded from the initial equipment maintenance to the current design. By analyzing the regulations, standards and other guidance documents of various countries and institutions on safety design, we reviewed the history of risk-informed safety design concepts, methods and their applications, especially the progress of LMP projects in the United States in recent years. We put forward prospects for the development and application of risk-informed concepts and methods in new reactors in the future. © 2023 by JSME.
