As a kind of typical precipitate strengthened steel, aluminum-forming austenitic (AFA) stainless steels usually suffer aging embrittlement issue. Recrystallization treatment was performed by cold rolling followed with heat treatment at 1080 °C for a Fe-25Ni-15Cr-3.5Al based AFA steel to evaluate the effect of recrystallization on aging embrittlement. The materials before and after recrystallization were aged at 700 °C for 120 h to evaluate the effect of recrystallization on precipitation behavior. After recrystallization, the average grain size decreased and the density of grain boundaries increased obviously. The size of precipitates along grain boundaries was smaller and more uniform after recrystallization, and the precipitation of Cr rich phase was inhibited. Room temperature tensile, Charpy impact, and creep performances at high temperature of samples were measured and compared. The aging embrittlement of AFA steel was alleviated obviously after recrystallization. The creep resistant was also improved for sample treated by recrystallization and aging. POST-HOC INTERPRETABILITY BASED PARAMETER SELECTION for DATA ORIENTED NUCLEAR reactor ACCIDENT DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

During applying data-oriented diagnosis systems to distinguishing the type of and evaluating the severity of nuclear power plant initial events, it is of vital importance to decide which parameters to be used as the system input. However, although several diagnosis systems have already achieved acceptable performance in diagnosis precision and speed, hardly have the researchers discussed the method of monitoring point choosing and its layout. For this reason, redundant measuring data are used to train the diagnostic model, leading to high uncertainty of the classification, extra training time consumption, and higher probability of overfitting while training. In this study, a method of choosing thermal hydraulics parameters of a nuclear power plant is proposed, using the theory of post-hoc interpretability theory in deep learning. At the start, a novel Time-sequential Residual Convolutional Neural Network (TRES-CNN) diagnosis model is introduced to identify the position and hydrodynamic diameter of breaks in LOCA, using 38 parameters manually chosen on HPR1000 empirically. Afterwards, post-hoc interpretability methods are applied to evaluate the attributions of diagnosis model's outputs, deciding which 15 parameters to be more decisive in diagnosing LOCA details. The results show that the TRESCNN based diagnostic model successfully predicts the position and size of breaks in LOCA via selected 15 parameters of HPR1000, with 25% of time consumption while training the model compared the process using total 38 parameters. In addition, the relative diagnostic accuracy error is within 1.5% compared with the model using parameters chosen empirically, which can be regarded as the same amount of diagnostic reliability. Prediction of critical heat flux based on near-wall bubble dynamics and conjugate heat transfer

Experimental studies demonstrate that CHF is governed by near-wall hydrodynamic mechanisms, with the emergence of irreversible dry patches identified as the primary trigger for boiling crisis. However, existing numerical CHF prediction models face challenges in integrating irreversible dry-patch theory due to the absence of robust dry-spot dynamics modeling methodologies. To address this gap, this study proposes an innovative numerical framework based on bubble and dry-spot dynamics simulations, leveraging bubble dynamics parameters obtained from pool boiling visualization experiments to model dry-spot formation and evolution on heated surfaces. A dual prediction strategy is developed: (1) direct CHF prediction via statistical parameters from dynamics simulations coupled with an extended wall heat flux partitioning model, and (2) indirect CHF prediction by mapping dynamic boundaries to conjugate heat transfer interfaces, enabling transient simulation of DNB evolution. Validation across two experimental cases confirms the high precision, computational efficiency, and resolution of both methods. Transient analysis further reveals a positive feedback mechanism wherein irreversible dry patches amplify localized overheating, ultimately triggering boiling crisis, thereby advancing the mechanistic understanding of CHF phenomena. © 2025 Elsevier Ltd

In this paper, the problem of collaborative vehicle sensing is investigated. In the considered model, a set of cooperative vehicles provide sensing information to sensing request vehicles with limited sensing and communication resources. A base station (BS) determines the subset of sensing request vehicles that each cooperative vehicle will serve and the sub-regions that each cooperative vehicle will detect. We formulate an optimization problem aiming to maximize the number of successfully detected sub-regions of sensing request vehicles while satisfying the cooperative sensing energy requirement by jointly determining the cooperative vehicle association and the sensing sub-region selection. To solve this problem, we propose a graph attention based reinforcement learning (RL) algorithm that can generate the graph information vectors based on the correlation between each cooperative vehicle and each sensing request vehicle. Using the learned graph information, the joint cooperative vehicle association and sensing sub-region selection strategy will be determined. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can improve the number of successfully detected sub-regions of sensing request vehicles by up to 12.5% compared to the conventional RL algorithm without using graph attention networks (GANs). © 2024 IEEE.

The resistance to chloride penetration of cement-based material with different curing regimes was investigated by solution titration,XRD,LF-NMR and rapid chloride migration *** results show that the curing regime has influences on the types and structure of the hydration products,which in turn affects their ability to bind chloride *** binding capacity of cementitious materials to chloride ions,porosity and chloride ion migration coefficient increased with the increase of water-cement ratio,while steam curing increased the porosity and chloride ion migration coefficient at the same time as it increased the chloride ion binding capacity of the *** lower water-cement ratios,the effect of steam curing on the resistance of cementitious materials to chloride ingress is negligible.

With the increasing awareness of aesthetics and safety, the influence of color in traffic has attracted considerable attention. This paper reviews and summarizes research on traffic color safety and proposes future research directions. By collecting and analyzing relevant literature, this paper summarizes 196 articles related to traffic color safety. In these studies, we identify the research hotspots and trends in the field of traffic color safety. The results of the cooccurrence network analysis show that China and the United States lead in traffic color safety research and cooperation. Their diverse forms of cooperation may make the results more general. As perception and decision-making behavior are generally influenced by color, researchers focus more attention on the visibility and visual salience of color. The results of the modeling analysis indicate that the influence of color on traffic safety is largely limited by the research methodology and research objectives. Studies using questionnaires and real experiments may tend to show that color is influential, whereas studies using data analysis and simulations may show that it is not. Color is more likely to have a significant effect when the studies target the built environment and traffic signs. By contrast, color may not have a significant effect when the studies target vehicle color or visibility aids. This study provides theoretical support and new ideas to further explore the field of traffic color safety, which is important for transportation planning and design. © 2025 science Press. High frequency electromagnetic pulse (EMP) is a major threat to RF front-end electronic devices, and traditional EMP protection devices still have many problems in providing protection. In this paper, Infineon's ESD105-B1-02ELS and gas discharge tube are modelled and simulated, respectively, and their EMP protection characteristics are verified. The transient voltage suppressors have a small power capacity and an unsatisfactory protection effect, and the GDT has a larger power capacity but a long response time, so to combine the advantages and disadvantages of the two, this paper designs a pulse protection device consisting of TVS tubes and GDTs in parallel, with an insertion loss of less than 1 dB and a protection effect of more than 40 dB within 1-2 GHz. © 2023 IEEE.

Understanding the intrinsic activity of oxygen evolution reaction(OER) is crucial for catalyst *** date,different metal-doping strategies have been developed to achieve this,but the involving mechanisms remain ***,the electronic structure of the transition metal-doped NiFe_(2)O_(4)(001) surface is scrutinized for OER intrinsic activity using density functional theory *** 3d-orbital filling metals(Ti,V,Cr,Mn,and Co) are introduced as dopants onto A-and B-layers of the NiFe_(2)O_(4)(001) surface,and variation of oxidation states over Fe sites is observed on *** the magnetic moment and charge transfer of surface cation sites reveals that the variation of Fe oxidation states originates from the super-exchange effect and is influenced by the t2g-electron configuration of 3d metal *** trend governs the generation of highly-active Fe3+sites on the B-layer,the adsorption strength of OER intermediates,i.e.,*O and*OH,and therefore the intrinsic *** finding of super-exchange mechanism induced by 3d early metal doping offers insights into electronic structure tailoring strategies for improving the intrinsic activity of OER electrocatalysts.
