The technology of detecting and identifying multitarget is of significance for robotic visual navigation within the unknown, unstructured, complex scenes, whose result could be considered as important references of 3 D map building and path planning for mobile robot. Traditional algorithms of target detection can be applied to 2 D images without depth information generally, which is disturbed by few factors such as illumination, view and scale easily. Therefore, an approach on visual detecting multi-target of unstructured and complex scenes based on RGBD images is proposed in this article to solve the above problem, which is composed of extracting descriptor of rotation and scale invariance feature, local encoding of targets, random ferns classifier training, Hough map generation, Hough voting theoretical model and local maximum search. Experimental results have shown that the proposed approach reduce the calculation of extracting and matching local feature, improve the accuracy of object recognition and detection in unknown complex environments, be capable of well robust against few disturbing factors i.e. rotation, scale, illumination, occlusion and non-rigid body deformation.

Ethereum smart contracts are an innovation built on top of the blockchain technology, which provides a platform for automatically executing contracts in an anonymous, distributed, and trusted way. The problem is magnified by the fact that smart contracts, unlike ordinary programs, cannot be patched easily once deployed. It is important for smart contracts to be checked against potential vulnerabilities. In this work, we propose an alternative approach to automatically identify critical program paths (with multiple function calls including inter-contract function calls) in a smart contract, rank the paths according to their criticalness, discard them if they are infeasible or otherwise present them with user friendly warnings for user inspection. We identify paths which involve monetary transaction as critical paths, and prioritize those which potentially violate important properties. For scalability, symbolic execution techniques are only applied to top ranked critical paths. Our approach has been implemented in a tool called sCompile, which has been applied to 36,099 smart contracts. The experiment results show that sCompile is efficient, i.e., 5 s on average for one smart contract. Furthermore, we show that many known vulnerabilities can be captured if user inspects as few as 10 program paths generated by sCompile. Lastly, sCompile discovered 224 unknown vulnerabilities with a false positive rate of 15.4% before user inspection. © 2019, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

CSR1000 (China supercritical water reactor, 1000MWe) was developed by NPIC, as BWR, the pressure vessel's reactor and directly circulate loop was adopted, however, the coolant will encounter double flow pass in the reactor. The passive engineering safety feature was adopted and the reactor residual heat will be removed by natural circulation of coolant. As above character, loss of feed water or loss of offsite power will cause completely loss of forced flow accident, the flow in first pass of core will encounter flow inversion during this course, these factor make the LOFA(Loss Of forced Flow Accident) become one of the most limiting accident in CSR1000. The LOFA was analyzed by APROS. The result shows, during the short time of LOFA, the passive operation of HFT will mitigate the accident, and during long term, the passive residual heat removal system will function and maintain the core within the safety state. © 2018 American Nuclear Society. This paper proposes dependable Multi-population Improved Brain Storm Optimization with Differential Evolution (MP-IBSODE) for optimal operational planning of energy plants. The problem can be formulated as a mixed-integer nonlinear programming (MINLP) problem and various evolutionary computation techniques such as particle swarm optimization (PSO), differential evolutionary PSO (DEEPSO), multi-population DEEPSO (MP-DEEPSO), and brain storm optimization (BSO) have been applied so far. When optimal operational planning of numbers of energy plants are calculated simultaneously in a data center, a challenge is to generate optimal operational planning as rapidly as possible considering control intervals and numbers of treated plants. One of the solutions for the challenge is speeding up by parallel and distributed computing. It utilizes numbers of processes and countermeasures for various faults of the distributed processes should be considered. Moreover, successive calculation at every control interval is required for keeping customer services. Therefore, sustainable (dependable) calculation keeping appropriate solution quality are required even if some of the calculation results cannot be returned from distributed processes. It is verified that total energy cost by the proposed dependable MP-IBSODE based method is lower than those by the compared methods, and higher quality of solutions can be kept even with high fault probabilities. © 2019 The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.

Single-atom catalysts(SACs)have emerged as one of the most competitive catalysts toward a variety of important electrochemical reactions,thanks to their maximum atom economy,unique electronic and geometric ***,the role of SACs supports on the catalytic performance does not receive enough research ***,we report an efficient route for synthesis of single atom Zn loading on the N-doped carbon nano-onions(ZnN/CNO).ZnN/CNO catalysts show an excellent high selectivity for CO_(2) electro-reduction to CO with a Faradaic efficiency of CO(FECO)up to 97%at -0.47 V(*** hydrogen electrode,RHE)and remarkable durability without activity *** our knowledge,ZnN/CNO is the best activity for the Zn based catalysts up to now,and superior to single atom Zn loading on the two-dimensional planar and porous structure of graphene substrate,although the graphene with larger surface *** exact role of such carbon nano-onions(CNO)support is studied systematically by coupling characterizations and electrochemistry with density functional theory(DFT)calculations,which have attributed such good performance to the increased *** increased curvature modifies the surface charge,which then changes the adsorption energies of key intermediates,and improves the selectivity for CO generation accordingly.

The method of characteristics (MOC) with matrix form has theoretically more favorable features than its standard application, since the time-consuming track sweeping operations are replaced with explicit solution of matrix equation. In traditional MOC, there are three optional discretization strategies: the step characteristic method, diamond difference scheme and linear source approximation. However, their performances in matrix MOC have not be reported so far. The current paper develops their matrix forms and solves the resulted linear systems using preconditioned generalized minimal residual (PGM-RES) method. Additionally, their performances with respect of computation accuracy and efficiency are compared with each other, by simulating a homogeneous hexagonal cell problem and the 2D C5G7 benchmark. The results show that their performances in matrix form are different from that of traditional form. With the same angular quadrature and region partition scheme, the step characteristic method is more efficient significantly than the diamond difference scheme and linear source approximation. Whether the diamond difference scheme and linear source approximation can improve the calculation accuracy or not depends on whether the the spatial mesh is fine enough for every scheme. For the coarser spatial partition strategy, diamond difference scheme and linear source approximation can significantly improve the accuracy of local pin power. © 2018 International Conference on Physics of reactors, PHYSOR 2018: reactor Physics Paving the Way Towards More Efficient systems. In this paper, the lifting platform structure of the father robot and the development of the insect-inspired biomimetic underwater microrobot are presented. The objective is to decrease the load of microrobot and realize more functions. In previous researchers, the platform of the father robot is fixed, which is not conducive to adopt and release the son robot. The structure of the lifting platform can effectively solve the problem in theory. The insect-inspired microrobot used wood which has high hydrophilism. It causes the body of microrobot increased weight and short-term works. The fillable structure with waterproof character which is made by a 3D printer. The new structure also can be changed weight for achieving different functions underwater efficiently. Then, two kinds of communication between the light source and microrobot like chasing rotation and fixed distance chasing are described in order to prove the feasibility of the software. In all these cases, experimental results show the performance of the microrobot.

The seasonal response of rainfall over tropical South America to a shutdown in the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC) is examined, in HadGEM3 model simulations where freshwater is added to the north Atlantic. Potential biases in these simulations are explored by comparing the unperturbed simulation with observations. In this simulation, in years when the latitude of the model Atlantic Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is realistic, the model provides a reasonable simulation of the spatial and seasonal variation in regional-scale rainfall over tropical South America. However, some climatological mean rainfall biases over this region are attributed to the climatological southward bias in the Atlantic ITCZ. Under an AMOC shutdown, the rainfall changes over tropical South America are largely associated with a southward shift of the Atlantic ITCZ. The large seasonal variation in rainfall change over tropical South America is linked primarily with the variation in the location of peak rainfall (itself driven largely by variation in the latitude of peak solar insolation and by the lagged variation in Atlantic ITCZ). The simulated rainfall changes appear to be biased in some months by the southward bias in the Atlantic ITCZ, including a possible overestimation of drying in March and June. In addition, the Atlantic ITCZ in HadGEM3 tends to shift too far in both the seasonal cycle (as reported in other models) and in inter-annual variability. Excessive inter-annual variability may arise because the model ITCZ is too close to the equator, combined with an increase in variability near the equator. Further understanding of what drives the variability in ITCZ latitude, and how that relates to ITCZ shifts under an AMOC shutdown, is suggested as a future research priority. © 2021 The Authors.
