In this work, we combined three-dimensional (3D) necklace-like Te-Au reticula as novel surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) active substrates with oxidation-reduction displacement reactions to construct a molecular machine for SERS detection. The structurally tunable 3D necklace-like spatial structures generated more active ‘hot spots’ and thus enhanced the sensitivity of SERS signals. Besides, layers of ultrathin nanowires showed high sequence dependence which ensure the repeatability and abundant hotspots at interparticle gaps guarantee the high SERS performance of the substrate. A better localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) effect of the sensor was verified by finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) analysis in both Raman intensities and electromagnetic field distributions compared to the citrate-stabilized AuNPs and CTAB-protected AuNRs. The proposed strategy can also serve as a universally amplified and sensitive detection platform for monitoring different molecules, thus achieving an amplification detection of 3,3'-diethylthiatricarbocyanine iodide (DTTCI) are 1 nM and R6G with a low limit of detection of 1 pM. Especially, The intensity of the main vibration of R6G from 30 spots of SERS data with excellent reproducibility (relative standard deviation of 6.25%). High selectivity and accuracy of the SERS sensor were proved by practical analysis melamine (MM) in milk with a linear calibration curve (R2=0.9962) and a limit of detection of 0.75 mg/kg. Due to their strong pull-off force on noncooperative objects, dry adhesive materials have promising applications in gecko-mimicking robots and mechanical grippers. Previous experimental studies have shown that uniform interfacial stress and center delamination are favorable for achieving a high pull-off force;however, an in-depth understanding of interfacial stress distribution, delamination mode, and pull-off force of square cross-section elastomers is lacking. The square cross-section is expected to improve the packing ratio and pull-off force further. This paper studies a model system where an elastic square cuboid is detached from a flat rigid substrate to provide theoretical support for the design of adhesive materials. Based on elastomers' energy release rate and instability, we establish a three-dimensional model for the elastic square cuboid and analyze the mechanism of three delamination modes: edge delamination, center delamination, and cavity delamination. Furthermore, a new theoretical model for the pull-off force and phase diagram of the various delamination modes is developed. We found three subdivision crack patterns in the cuboid edge delamination mode, arc-shaped, fingering, and rhombus, which are different from the cylinder sample. Fingering cracks of cylinder samples are usually considered characteristics of elastic instability, but those of cuboid samples cannot be defined as elastic instability. The three edge crack patterns are gradually transformed, determined by the interfacial stress distribution, which is affected by the sample width-to-thickness ratio. The following results are obtained by combining the experimental and theoretical pull-off forces and phase diagram data. First, the interfacial stress distribution determines the pull-off force, and the delamination mode is an index to judge the stress distribution. After the Fukushima nuclear accident, we gradually realized the safety issues of the traditional UO2+Zr nuclear fuel system. Accident tolerance fuel (ATF) is a new generation fuel concept proposed to improve the performance of fuel elements against severe accidents, and can withstand the consequences of accidents for a long time while maintaining or improving their performance under normal operating conditions. Nowadays, the issue of the safe utilization of nuclear energy has attracted more and more attention. reactor severe accident simulation and analysis for ATF has also become one of the important research directions. MELCOR is a fully integrated engineering-grade computer code which can model severe accidents phenomena in light water reactors. However, the existing MELCOR code is only applicable for the UO2+Zr fuel system, and cannot simulate the behavior of the ATF. So it is necessary to modify the MELCOR code for ATF applications. Based on extensive investigation, multi-fuel and multi-cladding processing module and new physical properties of ATF are added to MELCOR. Also the heat transfer model, oxidation model and cladding failure model are modified, enabling the MELCOR code to calculate ATF behaviors. Afterwards, the model verification is carried out. Then the traditional UO2+Zr and five ATF combinations are applied to the traditional three-loop PWR nuclear power plant to perform the safety analysis under large break loss of coolant accident (LBLOCA). The calculation results show that ATFs have better accident tolerance ability than UO2+Zr fuel system used in the commercial PWR, and the temperature of the cladding rises more slowly. The cladding failure is also delayed to different extent. The ATF fuel system has a better performance under the severe accident condition. © 2018-2019 by JSME

reactor coolant temperature control plays a central role among all reactor control systems because the effect of temperature control is directly related to the load tracking capability and also to the reactor protection margins, such as the over-temperature and over-power restraints. Special for the Mode-A reactor, the capacity of reactor is depending on the accurate and quality of temperature control. For example, in most of the time, all the Mode-A reactors in China are operating at basic load, so the temperature control is always worked in an simple way. But the temperature control system must also consider the quicker response and capacity to the wide range change of load, this paper based on point-kinetic model and heat transfer model in reactor, designs a suitable temperature model for control system. Considering that the traditional PID control method is difficult to solve the robustness and stability of high-order systems for large range operation, this paper uses Multi-model Predictive Control to solve this problem. According to the mechanism model, and establish nine single models, this paper online calculation model -matching degree to get recursive bayesian probability weighting, then get global prediction model. According to the global model, design Multi-model predictive control strategy. A Novel Torsion Instrument for Miniaturized Components Based on the Flexural Pivot

Torque measurement plays a significant role in characterizing microelectromechanical systems with rotation components and torsional behaviours of slender structures. A high-sensitivity torque transducer based on the flexural pivot with a wide measurement range is addressed. The torque transducer consists of a cylindrical flexural pivot acting as the elastic element, and an optical angle measurement system including dual laser displacement sensors. The instrument can measure the torque accurately using the flexural pivot with a known torsional spring constant. By selecting suitable pivots, it allows for a vast torque capacity ranging from 1.94×10 -4 to 1.91×10 -2 Nm, corresponding to a resolution ranging from 1.94×10 -9 to 1.91×10 -7 Nm. Torsion tests on Nylon 6 filaments, PET ribbons, and copper wires were performed with the instrument. The practicality and applicability of the method are confirmed. The developed instrument is a helpful tool for characterizing the mechanical properties of miniaturized components. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

After millions of years of natural evolution, horsetails have evolved unique stem structures that enable survival in harsh environments. Inspired by the cross-sectional characteristics of horsetail stems, a series of bioinspired sandwich structures were designed and fabricated using the laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) process. By combining experimental and finite element simulation methods, the formability, mechanical properties, deformation behavior, and thermal conduction performance of these structures were determined. Results show that the surface morphology of the bioinspired sandwich structures was smooth, with no cracks observed. The bioinspired sandwich structure with an inner tube diameter of 1.9 mm (D_1.9) exhibited optimal comprehensive mechanical properties, with a specific strength of 64.2 MPa/(g/cm³), and specific energy absorption of 3.3 J/g. Stress distribution results revealed that the D_1.9 structures had the most uniform stress distribution. Furthermore, increasing the internal conduction paths improved heat transfer;therefore, the thermal conductivities of the D_1.4, D_1.9, and D_2.4 structures were higher than that of the D₀ structure. This study demonstrates that a bioinspired design approach, combined with additive manufacturing technology, enables the development of high-performance structures with both load-bearing and thermally insulating capabilities. © 2025

The method of characteristics (MOC) with matrix form has more favorable performance compared with its standard application. And the linear algebraic solver affects heavily the computation efficiency. As a Krylov subspace technique, the preconditioned generalized minimal residual algorithm (PGMRES) was proposed to solve the resulting linear system in previous work. To accelerate the iteration process further, the current study utilizes the GPU-based compute unified device architecture(CUDA) technique to program the massively parallel PGMRES. The sparse matrix vector multiplication(SpMV), the most time-consuming operation, was optimized using the coherent visiting and shared memory, which improves the parallel computing performance significantly. Based on the analysis of the numerical feature of the coefficient matrix, two parallel optimization strategies are proposed to deal with the first part of the matrix equation, and the different schemes are utilized to the different parts of the matrix based on the size of row vector, which are expected to improve the throughput of the SpMV operation. The benchmark problem HTTR(i.e. 2D high temperature engineering test reactor benchmark problem) has been simulated to verify the parallel code and evaluate the acceleration performance, and the numerical results demonstrate that the parallel strategies are efficient for the HTTR problem, and the speedup can achieve more than 5.5 times with the optimal strategy. © 2018-2019 by JSME

In order to suppress the strong direct wave interference in the bistatic sonar system, this paper proposes a method that combines the weighted sparsity-constrained capon beamformer with the zero constraint. The algorithm uses the sparse distribution of beam response and adds sparse constraints (l1-norm constraints) in the side lobe. By using the orthogonal characteristics of the signal subspace and the noise subspace, a weighted matrix is constructed to weight the sparsity constraint. Subsequently, the optimal weight can be derived by minimizing the output power. In the bistatic sonar system, according to the prior knowledge of the system configuration, the direction of direct wave is often known. Based on the fact, the zero constraint is used to set the beam output response of the array form to be a null in a fixed direction. Under the constraint of null, a least-square method is exploited to approximate a constraint pattern to an ideal pattern in order to solve the optimal weight. Consequently, a deeper and wider null is generated, which improves the anti-steering vector angle mismatch of the array ability. In the case of small deviations in the direction of the interference wave, the receiver can also effectively suppress the interference. © 2021 IEEE.

Federated learning (FL) framework enables user devices collaboratively train a global model based on their local datasets without privacy leak. However, the training performance of FL is degraded when the data distributions of different devices are incongruent. Fueled by this issue, we consider a clustered FL (CFL) method where the devices are divided into several clusters according to their data distributions and are trained simultaneously. Convergence analysis is conducted, which shows that the clustered model performance depends on cosine similarity, device number per cluster, and device participation probability. Then, aiming at optimizing the model training performance, a joint problem of resource allocation and device clustering is formulated, which is solved by decoupling it into two sub-problems. Specifically, a coalition formation algorithm is proposed for the device clustering sub-problem, and the sub-problem of bandwidth allocation and transmit power control is solved directly due to its convexity. Finally, simulation experiments are conducted on the MNIST dataset to validate the performance of the proposed algorithm in terms of test accuracy.
