There are always some 'key' nodes in a big complex network, which can joint the most connected subgraphs. How to identify these nodes, finding a minimum set of nodes to attack for reducing the size of residual network's Largest Connected Component(LCC) to break up the original network, has become a research hotspot. Therefore, a method for determining the 'key' nodes based on reinforcement learning framework and supervised learning model is proposed. This algorithm can not only utilize the dynamic exploration ability of reinforcement learning to collect a rich training dataset, but also take advantage of the characteristics that supervised learning is adaptive and has strong generalization ability to possess high efficiency and strong robustness. In order to further improve the algorithm's performance, ϵ-greedy mechanism is used to explore more network states. The experiment results show that given the same fraction of removed nodes, our algorithm can make the residual LCC smaller in various networks which is superior to the state-of-the-art algorithms in terms of effectiveness and generalization. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Industrial images are often captured under full-time and full-weather conditions, leading to inevitable noise during the imaging process, which can impact subsequent detection algorithms. In recent years, image denoising with neural networks has been the rapid development. However, training such networks typically requires a large dataset, which is scarce in publicly available industrial image databases. In this paper, we propose a novel approach termed Zero-Shot Industrial Image Lightweight Denoising (ZSILD) network, which effectively denoises single noisy industrial image without the need for datasets. First, we sample the paired neighbour pixels of a random noisy industrial image, which are then utilized to train a lightweight denoising network. Second, we design a lightweight depthwise convolutions network based on bottleneck residual structure with shortcut connections. Finally, this network is trained on the sampled pairs using a novel loss function aimed at enhancing denoising performance. Our experiments conduct on real-world industrial ambient noise demonstrate that our ZSILD method outperforms existing denoising techniques, all while requiring comparatively minimal computational resources. © 2024 SPIE. An airborne radar clutter suppression algorithm based on negative log-likelihood minimization

space time adaptive processing (STAP) plays an important role in the field of airborne radar clutter suppression. However, due to the inhomogeneity of the clutter environment, the radar system is unable to obtain enough training samples, which will lead to a significant reduction in the clutter suppression performance of STAP. To address this issue, an airborne radar clutter suppression algorithm based on negative log-likelihood minimization is proposed in this work. Firstly, we use the negative log-likelihood function minimization criterion to give the cost function for estimating the clutter plus noise covariance matrix (CNCM), which is a nonconvex optimization problem. Secondly, to estimate the CNCM, we use the majorization-minimization(MM) algorithm and alternating optimization to iteratively solve the above nonconvex problem. Finally, we utilize the estimated CNCM to construct a space time filter to suppress the ground clutter. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm performs well in terms of both clutter suppression and convergence speed in the case of insufficient training samples. © 2001-2012 IEEE.

DNA has been used to construct a variety of nanoscale thermometers due to its unique thermodynamic properties. It has proven to be one of the most promising, yet challenging aspects of DNA-based thermometers, to obtain significant signal changes when the temperature changes slightly. Here, we propose a strategy to construct nanoscale thermometers with sensitive temperature responses based on DNA triplex. The thermometers consist of a CT-rich DNA strand and stabilizing strands, whose conformations vary with temperature. By adjusting the sequence design or introducing mismatch bases in stabilizing strands, the temperature response interval of the thermometer can be reduced to 7 ∘C, which lead to higher sensitivity compared to the interval of 12–15 ∘C for conventional designs. The temperature responses of the thermometer are characterized by fluorescence experiments. The fluorescence kinetics experiments demonstrate the good repeatability. The design of the nanothermometer will be helpful for constructing advanced nanosystem with sensitive temperature responses as well as long service times. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The multi-stack fuel cell system (MFCS) is an important basis for the application of solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) technology to large-scale power generation systems. MFCS can provide higher power, longer lifetime and better reliability. Different from the single-stack fuel cell system (SFCS), there may be some inconsistencies among the stacks in the MFCS. If the inconsistencies are ignored, they will significantly affect the lifetime of the MFCS. This study focuses on the lifetime extension of multi-stack SOFC power generation systems with inconsistent stacks. Since the multi-stack system of SOFC generally cannot control the flow rate of each stack respectively, it brings a difficulty to the control of the MFCS with inconsistencies among the stacks. In order to overcome this difficulty, this paper built a multi-stack SOFC system model, which can characterize the degradation and inconsistencies among SOFC stacks. And then designed a power distribution strategy based on fuzzy control to extend the lifetime of the MFCS. The strategy was verified by simulations. The simulation results show that the strategy can effectively control the inconsistencies among the stacks and significantly extend the lifetime of the MFCS. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

The malicious jamming attacks will disrupt legitimate public wireless communication systems, which has become a critical issue that must be considered in modern communication system design. This paper considers an anti-jamming unicast transmit beamforming problem with a smart reactive jammer. We model this problem as a Stackelberg game and formulate a bilevel optimization problem, in which the base station maximizes the minimum signal-to-interference-jamming-noise ratio (SIJNR) of legitimate users and the jammer minimizes the maximum SIJNR. This problem is quite challenging due to its hierarchical structure and nonconvexity. A penalty method is developed to solve this problem, which transforms it into a mathematical program with equilibrium constraint (MPEC) problem after implementing a tight semi-definite relaxation (SDR) method. The numerical results demonstrate its superior performance. © 2023 IEEE.
