Network pruning is a figurative model compression technique designed to lighten and accelerate neural network models. Most existing pruning methods prioritize the selection of filters by their importance or apply regularization based on the properties of individual filters, neglecting the internal connections within combinations of multiple filters. This work introduces a pruning method termed Combinational Filter Deletion (CFD), which incorporates a straightforward yet effective evaluation metric based on the diversity of filter combination distributions to reveal the characteristics inherent to multiple filter interactions. CFD enables the exploration of an expanded search space, offering a greater array of choices and leveraging the intrinsic information of conventional layers. Moreover, this method is both general and non-exclusive, capable of enhancing the efficacy of other single-filter-based pruning techniques. © 2024 IEEE.

For the reentry gliding process of high-speed aircraft, the aircraft can fly by adjusting the angle of bank and angle of attack. However, in addition to considering the reentry constraints, the avoidance of the no-fly zone should also be considered during the flight. For the no-fly zone undiscovered before launch, the high-speed aircraft needs to plan its trajectory online, which puts forward high requirements for the rapidity and real-time of its planning speed. This paper proposes a maneuver strategy with variable tentacle detection range, which tests the actual flight process through tentacle detection, selects the optimal tentacle command to meet the flight requirements, and reduces the number of tentacles through different tentacle detection strategies, Reducing the impact of the integration process on computational efficiency improves the speed of trajectory planning. Typical examples are used for simulation, and the deflection of aerodynamic data is simulated by Monte Carlo simulation. The results show that this method can effectively avoid the no-fly zone, and can satisfy all constraints in the gliding process. The computing time is 57.7% shorter than the traditional tentacle-based method.

Aiming at the no-fly zone constraint in the process of aircraft gliding reentry, this paper presents an improved strategy for tentacle-based detection. The turning radius and reference pitch angle of the aircraft can be obtained by approximate analytical solution and then the waypoint can be obtained according to geometric relationship. Next tentacle-based method is used to correct the trajectory to meet the flight requirements. By approximate analytical solution programming, the number of tentacles required can be reduced, and the influence of integration process on the calculation efficiency can be reduced, thus the calculation time can be shortened effectively. After the no-fly zone is bypassed, height planning is performed to meet the terminal height constraints. The simulation results show that this method can effectively avoid the no-fly zone and satisfy various constraints of gliding reentry process, and The calculation time is shortened to 22.24%.

This paper presents an improved approach called error dynamics based dual heuristic dynamic programming(ED-DHP) for nonlinear flight attitude *** augmented system state containing tracking error and reference trajectory are defined for the DHP to solve the tracking problem,without requiring the complete knowledge of the vehicle dynamics and the reference trajectory dynamics.A recursive least square method is used to identify not only the input dynamics,but also the total uncertainty of the system based on the error dynamics in real *** simulations of two different air vehicles demonstrate the good performance of ED-DHP for the online self-learning flight attitude control.

To address the imbalance in detection speed and accuracy caused by smoke, flame, and background confusion in campus video surveillance scenarios, an end-to-end campus fire detection algorithm incorporating priori features is proposed. First, a feature pyramid fusion module guided by priori features is constructed to cascade the multi-scale feature fusion module. The priori features are individually pre-trained by Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) classification network. The feature complementarity between the two is utilized to improve the feature representation of the detection network. Second, a lightweight set prediction detection head is designed. The head does not require manually designed anchors and post-processing strategies, enabling end-to-end detection while balancing speed and accuracy. Finally, a joint loss function that integrates the losses of categorical and bipartite matching is proposed. Focus on the drawbacks of the slow convergence associated with bipartite matching, both classification information and bipartite bit matching are considered in the detection results. Experimental results on the fire detection dataset demonstrate that the proposed algorithm improved average accuracy by 7.8% while maintaining detection speed, effectively balancing speed and accuracy in fire detection.

The most commonly used implementation of handwritten digit recognition based on convolutional neural networks requires equipment with high computing power, which is not suitable for edge devices. Recently, spiking neural network (SNN) has received more attentions due to its low power consumption and real-time performance, but training SNN is very difficult. As a special SNN, liquid state machine (LSM) has the advantages of simple structure and easy training, so it is very suitable for handwritten digit recognition on edge devices. But it has no advantage in recognition accuracy. In order to improve the performance of LSM, its reservoir needs to be optimized. In this paper, an efficient local optimization strategy is proposed, improving the recognition accuracy of LSM by 11.8% with less the training time. In order to reduce the runtime, auto-encoder and feature screening are used to compress the input handwritten digit image. After feature compression, the input storage is reduced by 57%, and the runtime is reduced by 30%. This work provides an effective way to realize handwritten digit recognition on the edge devices. © 2023 SPIE.

This study focuses on the influence of the polarization of incident light in the laser slicing of 4H-SiC wafers. The structure of longitudinal damage within the material after laser modification was measured and analyzed. The impact of laser pulse energy on this structure was studied. Differences in longitudinal damage under different polarization states were compared. In addition, the effects of laser polarization on the modification of line width and lateral crack propagation were investigated. A vector diffraction model was established to analyze the propagation characteristics of beams with different polarization states during focusing. The results indicate that a linearly polarized beam perpendicular to the scanning direction offers superior modification efficacy compared to other directions of linear polarization and circular polarization. Azimuthally and radially polarized beams substantially decrease the length of longitudinal damage and reduce the difficulty of delamination. Compared to the linearly polarized beam perpendicular to the scanning direction, the azimuthally polarized beam reduces the longitudinal damage length by 49.3% and the delamination stress by 47.0%. In comparison, the radially polarized beam reduces the longitudinal damage length by 39.4% and the delamination stress by 53.8%. © 2025 Optica Publishing Group under the terms of the Optica Open Access Publishing Agreement.

The trajectory propagation is used to estimate the flight states of the RLV when landing with a designed trajectory, so as to verify that whether the trajectory is suitable or not. Most of existing results are developed based on Euler numerical integration technique, and due to the implementation of the method, the efficiency of propagation may be low if a small integration step is used for high accuracy. To handle such issue, the paper propose a particle swarm optimization (PSO) based trajectory propagation method. With the proposed method, the efficiency of propagation can be significantly improved without losing accuracy. Simulations are done to show the advantages of our method. © 2022 IEEE.
