A Game-Theoretic Approach for Satellites Beam Scheduling and Power Control in a Mega Hybrid Constellation Spectrum Sharing Scenario

A mega hybrid constellation of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and Geosynchronous Orbit (GEO) satellites represents a typical architecture for future space networks. However, the emergence of such large constellations exacerbates the shortage of spectrum resources. To address this issue, this paper investigates a hierarchical optimization method for beam scheduling and power control of LEO satellites, aiming to extend the available spectrum by sharing the downlink spectrum of GEO satellites. In the upper-layer optimization, a many-to-one matching game model is constructed to achieve optimal matching of LEO satellite beams and LEO Users (LU). A distributed beam matching learning algorithm (DBMLA) is designed to find a stable matching solution for the model, with the convergence of the algorithm theoretically proven. In the lower-layer optimization, an LEO beam power level optimization game model is developed for discrete LEO beam power levels. This model is demonstrated to be an exact potential game with at least one Nash Equilibrium (NE). To solve this NE, a dynamic power allocation logarithmic learning algorithm (DPALLA) is proposed. simulation results verify that the proposed DBMLA-DPALLA hierarchical optimization scheme effectively balances convergence time and accuracy compared to traditional independent optimization strategies. By leveraging the combined effects of the two optimization strategies, it better mitigates the co-channel interference experienced by GEO satellites and improves the average network satisfaction of the LUs. © 2025 IEEE.

With the surge of emergency task demand, large-scale Earth observation satellite emergency scheduling has become a practical problem which is urgent to be solved. In view of this situation, this paper analyzes the constrains and conflict relationship in this problem, and proposes a DQN-based hyperheuristic algorithm. The algorithm includes encoding and decoding, deep Q-network and several low-level heuristic operators. A Markov decision model of this problem is established and 7 low-level heuristic operators are designed according the feature of this problem. After training, DQN behaves well when selecting operators for the scheduling scheme. Finally, several groups of comparative experiments verify the algorithm's ability in solving large-scale satellite emergency scheduling problems.

In order to solve the problem that the accuracy evaluation method based on error grouping is complex and can only be applied to post-processing, a fast judgment analysis method of radar tracking accuracy is proposed. This method decouples the two main processes of accuracy evaluation, namely error estimation and error statistics, and achieves fast analysis of radar tracking accuracy through real-time estimation of local accuracy and fast statistics of average accuracy of whole track. At the same time, this method avoids the discrimination of abnormal errors by applying robust median and median absolute difference estimation, further simplifies the error estimation process, so that it is more suitable for real-time data analysis.

The power conversion system (PCS) serves as a crucial intermediary between energy storage system and the power grid. Presently, PCS predominantly employs two control strategies: grid-following (GFL) control and grid-forming (GFM) control. Traditional GFL converters primarily rely on phase-locked loops (PLL) to achieve synchronization with the grid, behaving as controlled current sources, which are incapable of actively supporting grid frequency and voltage. Conversely, GFM converters actively sense disturbance and possess the capability to actively support grid frequency and voltage. However, for multi-PCS grid-connected system, there remains a lack of in-depth investigation into the rational design of the configuration ratio (CR) between two types of converters. This paper investigates multi-PCS grid-connected system based on GFL/GFM control by considering different CRs. Initially, the operational principles and control strategies of multi-PCS grid-connected system are analyzed, elucidating the mathematical models of multi-PCS and their GFL/GFM controllers. Subsequently, a 6-PCSs grid-connected system is employed as an example with seven different CRs simulated in PSCAD/EMTDC, which is disturbed by load disturbance and single-phase ground fault. Finally, the simulation results are compared to obtain the optimal configuration ratio for 6-PCS grid-connected system under corresponding condition.

The space-ground integrated network is one of the important information infrastructures of the country in the future. In order to display its network structure in all directions and from multiple angles, a multi-view visualization interactive analysis method is proposed. First introduces the relevant basic technology, and then constructs the network dynamic model, which is mainly divided into three parts: link visibility analysis, relative motion analysis and visualization model construction. Finally, the digital earth technology is based on a unified coordinate system and data source. Establish a multi-dimensional view on it and provide a variety of interactive operations. Experimental results show that this method can more comprehensively show the structure of the space-ground integrated network, and help users understand its evolutionary law.

The existence of shadow leads to the degradation of the image qualities and the defect of ground object *** removal is therefore an essential research topic in image processing *** biggest challenge of shadow removal is how to restore the content of shadow areas correctly while removing the shadow in the *** regions for shadow removal approach based on multi-features is proposed, in which shadow removal is only performed on related sunlit *** distance between regions is calculated to find the optimal paired regions with considering of multi-features(texture, gradient feature, etc.) *** in different scenes with peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR) and structural similarity(SSIM) evaluation indexes are chosen for *** results are shown with six existing comparison methods by visual and quantitative assessments, which verified that the proposed method shows excellent shadow removal effect, the brightness, color of the removed shadow area, and the surrounding non-shadow area can be naturally fused.

The Solar Fuv-Uv Spectra Measurement Experiment in the Near space by High Altitude Balloon

An experiment measuring the solar far-ultravoilet-ultraviolet (FUV-UV) irradiance with spectral-resolution bettern than 0.1 nm in the wavelength range between 170 to 400 nm, was carried out by the "HongHu-6" high-altitude balloon that flight to the bottom region of the near-space in September 2022. This experiment was based on the fact that solar FUV-UV penetrates through a complex cross-section window of the upper atmosphere, from outer space to the near space. The solar FUV-UV deposits energy in the upper atmosphere, which provides a key to answer scientific questions on the most important energy contributor to overall heating sources of the near space and how the near-space environment responds to solar activities. In the wavelength band between 150 to 210 nm, irradiance maps from active regions of the solar corona, the comparative small cross-section of molecular oxygen allows certain wavelengths of the band to arrive at altitudes between 20 and 30 km above the ground, indicating solar flares could directly impact the bottom region of the near space. The solar UV irradiance in wavelength 210-400 nm is absorbed by the upper atmosphere as a function of wavelength, and deposits energy vertically in the lower regions of the near space. This experiment historically provides measurement data to fill a gap in the wavelength shorter than 280nm in the lower regions of the near-space. The solar FUV-UV spectrometer (SUVS) is a compact instrument based on improved Roland circle optics to adapt to the "HongHu-6" balloon payload platform. In this paper, we introduce the scientific goals of the solar FUV-UV spectrum measurement experiment, information on the SUVS instrument, preflight calibration, and the first results from the flight data. © 2024, The Authors. An actively Q-switched 452 nm blue pulse laser based on intracavity frequency-doubled quasi-three-level Nd:LiYF4 crystal was presented. The fundamental wave resonator of the laser adopted L-shape design, pumped by 806 nm fiber-coupled laser diode, and realized pulse output by Q-switching operation at a repetition frequency of 100 Hz, in which an a-cut Nd:LiYF4 used as the gain medium. The maximum output laser average power of 7.18 mW at 452 nm was achieved by inserting a LiB3O5 crystal into the cavity for frequency doubling, and the pulse duration of the blue pulse laser was 84 ns. This compact blue pulse laser has a great prospect in the application of ocean laser detection and information transmission. © 2024 SPIE.

In the context of non-cooperative electronic countermeasures, the problem of formulating effective jamming task assignments arises due to insufficient collaborative jamming resources. This paper proposes a binary sparrow- hybridized beluga whale optimization algorithm based on jamming task assignments. The algorithm combines the binary sparrow search algorithm(BSSA) and the binary beluga whale optimization(BBWO), which is set with multi-dimensional constraints in the time, frequency and spatial domains. To achieve the optimal strategy for collaborative interference task assignment, a fitness function is constructed using both radar coverage and the signal-to-jamming ratio received by each radar. When the number of UAVs is 7 and the number of radars is 10, the simulation results show that the optimization speed and accuracy of the proposed algorithm are significantly higher than the BSSA and BBWO. Therefore, the algorithm has good coverage and performance in the field of jamming task assignments. © 2023 IEEE.
