This paper devotes to combine the chirp basis function transformation and symplectic coordinates transformation to yield a novel Wigner distribution (WD) associated with the linear canonical transform (LCT), named as the symplectic WD in the LCT domain (SWDL). It incorporates the merits of the symplectic WD (SWD) and the WD in the LCT domain (WDL), achieving stronger capability in the linear frequency-modulated (LFM) signal frequency rate feature extraction while maintaining the same level of computational complexity. Some essential properties of the SWDL are derived, including marginal distributions, energy conservations, unique reconstruction, Moyal formula, complex conjugate symmetry, time reversal symmetry, scaling property, time translation property, frequency modulation property, and time translation and frequency modulation property. Heisenberg’s uncertainty principles of the SWDL are formulated, giving rise to three kinds of lower bounds attainable respectively by Gaussian enveloped complex exponential signal, Gaussian signal and Gaussian enveloped chirp signal. The optimal symplectic matrices corresponding to the highest time-frequency resolution are generated by solving the lower bound optimization (minimization) problem. The time-frequency resolution of the SWDL is compared with those of the SWD and WDL to demonstrate its superiority in LFM signals time-frequency energy concentration. LMHLD: A Large-scale Multi-source High-resolution Landslide Dataset for Landslide Detection based on Deep Learning

Landslides are among the most common natural disasters globally, posing significant threats to human society. Deep learning (DL) has proven to be an effective method for rapidly generating landslide inventories in large-scale disaster areas. However, DL models rely heavily on high-quality labeled landslide data for strong feature extraction capabilities. And landslide detection using DL urgently needs a benchmark dataset to evaluate the generalization ability of the latest models. To solve the above problems, we construct a Large-scale Multi-source High-resolution Landslide Dataset (LMHLD) for Landslide Detection based on DL. LMHLD collects remote sensing images from five different satellite sensors across seven study areas worldwide: Wenchuan, China (2008);Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2011);Gorkha, Nepal (2015);Jiuzhaigou, China (2015);Taiwan, China (2018);Hokkaido, Japan (2018);Emilia-Romagna, Italy (2023). The dataset includes a total of 25,365 patches, with different patch sizes to accommodate different landslide scales. Additionally, a training module, LMHLDpart, is designed to accommodate landslide detection tasks at varying scales and to alleviate the issue of catastrophic forgetting in multi-task learning. Furthermore, the models trained by LMHLD is applied in other datasets to highlight the robustness of LMHLD. Five dataset quality evaluation experiments designed by using seven DL models from the U-Net family demonstrate that LMHLD has the potential to become a benchmark dataset for landslide detection. Recently, stochastic computing (SC) is increasingly popular in constructing MAC for on-edge DNNs benefiting from its outstanding energy-efficiency, including its adequate precision and gatelevel operation. However, current SC-DNN systems always include a lot of costly SNGs/APCs for inevitably switches between binary and stochastic domains, which mortgages incongruous resources to pay the "bill" of the domain-switches and impedes highly-concurrent deployments. In this work, PseudoSC, a binary approximation to low-discrepancy SC, is proposed to totally remove the domain-switch for SNG/APC-free SC-DNNs. Its basic idea is to virtually re-arrange a couple of stochastic operands into a 2-D latent op-space, in which, original Monte Carlo sampling can be partitioned into three sub-ops, i.e., two fixed binary-ops and a fractal recursion. In theory, the recursion forms an isomorphic partition of the sampling repeated in smaller scales until the binary base-case achieved, as a result, a SC-op is well approximated only with binary-ops. Based on above theory, a multi-lane micro-architecture is designed to unroll the recursion within a few cycles and its advantages on hardware saving is verified under popular DNNs. The evaluation shows that the DNN-models with our schemes achieve 98.7% accuracy of the fixed-point implementations, which significantly outperform other SOTA methods. In addition, its reduced structure improves the power efficiency by 3.67 times on average.

Phytoplankton play a crucial role in the primary productivity of ocean ecosystems, rendering changes in their populations particularly consequential. The effects of extreme sea surface temperature (SST) on phytoplankton are noteworthy. However, the direct characterization of total biomass by chlorophyll for analysis is inaccurate for phytoplankton functional taxa (PFTs) with different sensitivity to SST. Through the method of Diagnostic pigment analysis (DPA), these organisms can be classified into six primary functional taxa based on their distinctive pigments, which play a vital role in elucidating their ecological functions and dynamics. This study employed optical remote sensing to reconstruct daily concentrations and occupancy of six PFTs in the Eastern China Marginal Sea (ECMS) over the past 20 years. Causal analyses were conducted to identify regions with varying sensitivity to SST changes and further explore the corresponding impacts on phytoplankton concentrations. Results revealed that high-causality areas in the Bohai Sea (BS) and Yellow Sea (YS) were primarily located in nearshore waters. In contrast, high-causality regions in the East China Sea (ECS) were farther offshore, while nearshore areas exhibited lower causality. The high-causality subregions experienced significant fluctuations in phytoplankton concentrations, particularly during marine heatwave (MHW) events, with a prevailing trend of decline in taxon concentrations driven by elevated SST. In comparison, low-causality subregions displayed weaker synchronization with SST changes, as other factors influenced taxa concentrations more prominently. Notably, while phytoplankton concentrations fluctuated significantly during extreme MHW events, they eventually reverted to baseline levels. A Service Mining Scheme Based on Semantic for Internet of Things

As the development of Internet of things(IOT), massive sensors have been deployed as the public infrastructure. With the development of in-depth applications in IOT, service discovery and composition are challenges to the end users. To handle this challenge, we develop a service mining scheme based on semantic for IOT to provide users with interesting composite services. In this scheme, services can be combined and recommended to users actively according to the calculation of service similarity and an updatable semantic database. By the results of service similarity, useless compositions can be filtered out so that energy consumption on service flooding will be reduced. The update strategy of semantic database is also given out, by which the composite services can keep up with time and be more applicative. The benefits of the proposed method are that all operations such as calculating, filtering, and updating are simple enough to be performed in sensor networks.

The increasing deployment of unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) require computational support and coverage in applications such as maritime search and rescue. Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) can offer low-cost, flexible aerial services, and ground stations (GSs) can provide powerful supports, which can cooperate to help the USVs in complex scenarios. However, the collaboration between UAVs and GSs for USVs faces challenges of task uncertainties, USVs trajectory uncertainties, heterogeneities, and limited computational resources. To address these issues, we propose a cooperative UAV and GS based robust multi-access edge computing framework to assist USVs in completing computational tasks. Specifically, we formulate the optimization problem of joint task offloading and UAV trajectory to minimize the total execution time, which is in the form of mixed integer nonlinear programming and NP-hard to tackle. Therefore, we propose the algorithm of generative artificial intelligence-enhanced heterogeneous agent proximal policy optimization (GAI-HAPPO). The proposed algorithm integrates GAI models to enhance the actor network ability to model complex environments and extract high-level features, thereby allowing the algorithm to predict uncertainties and adapt to dynamic conditions. Additionally, GAI stabilizes the critic network, addressing the instability of multi-agent reinforcement learning approaches. Finally, extensive simulations demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms the existing benchmark methods, thus highlighting the potentials in tackling intricate, cross-domain issues in the considered scenarios.

The concept of architecture is put forward by the US Army, which refers to the composition structure of the system and its mutual relationship, as well as the principles and guidelines guiding the design and development of the system. Architecture design technology and its reference resources have important theoretical and technical support for the top-level design of information system. Based on the analysis of architecture technology and function, this paper systematically studies the connotation and development history of the architecture design framework of the US army, and sorts out the main reference resources of the architecture design of the US army, such as the common joint task list, information system interoperability level model, joint technology architecture. It provides useful reference for the theoretical and technical research of information system top-level design. © 2021 ACM.

Compositions of tonalite–trondhjemite–granodiorite (TTG) rocks are commonly used to trace the formation and evolution of Archean continental crust. However, pressure-sensitive elements (e.g., Sr/Y and La/Yb ratios) and radiogenic isotope data may provide ambiguous constraints on TTG petrogenesis and their geodynamic setting due to the potential effects of accessory minerals. Iron isotopes can provide complementary constraints, given their mineral-specific fractionation effects. The North Qaidam ultrahigh-pressure terrane in China is ideal for studying TTG derived from melting of lower crust because it contains a complete record of crustal anatexis from gabbro/gabbro diorite to cogenetic TTG-like leucosomes, tonalitic plutons, and mafic granulites. The Fe isotopic compositions of the garnet-bearing TTG-like leucosomes (GBTL;δ⁵⁶Fe = 0.02–0.12 ‰) and tonalite pluton (δ⁵⁶Fe = 0.02–0.11 ‰) are similar to those of gabbro/gabbro diorite (δ⁵⁶Fe = 0.06–0.12 ‰) and associated mafic granulites (δ⁵⁶Fe = 0.06–0.19 ‰), whereas the garnet-free TTG-like leucosomes (GFTL;δ⁵⁶Fe = 0.14–0.39 ‰) have heavy and heterogeneous Fe isotopic compositions similar to those of highly felsic igneous rocks. The complementary geochemical features of the peritectic garnet and GFTL indicate the GBTL represent partial melts with entrained peritectic garnet. Combined Rayleigh fractionation modeling and mixing calculations reveal that Fe isotopic fractionation occurs during crustal anatexis, but that peritectic garnet entrainment may conceal this fractionation. Selective peritectic garnet entrainment is a potential mechanism for explaining the Fe isotopic diversity of felsic igneous rocks. The results demonstrate the effects of selective peritectic garnet entrainment on Fe isotopes system should be considered when using Fe isotope to trace formation and evolution of TTGs. © 2025 Elsevier B.V.

For the earth observation satellite mission planning problem, objectives such as observed target quantity, observation profit, energy consumption, image quality should be considered simultaneously, which is a many-objective optimization problem. Classical optimization-based mission planning algorithms obtain a set of non-dominated solutions in the entire search space, while only a single satisfy final plan is desired by decision maker. In this paper, a five-objective optimization model for satellite mission planning problem is constructed, then a region preference-based evolutionary algorithm, HMOEA-T, is applied to obtain the desired solutions. The decision makers describe the preference on each objective in target region form, then the algorithm guides a more detailed search within the preference region rather than the entire Pareto front. Comparative studies with preference-based methods (T-NSGA-III) and classical methods (NSGA-III) are conducted. We have exemplified the proposed method manage to obtain the solutions satisfying the mission planning preference and achieve better performance in convergence and diversity. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Emotion recognition in conversation (ERC) aims at accurately identifying emotional states expressed in conversational content. Existing ERC methods, although relying on semantic understanding, often encounter challenges when confronted with incomplete or misleading semantic information. In addition, when dealing with the interaction between emotional and semantic information, existing methods are often difficult to effectively distinguish the complex relationship between the two, which affects the accuracy of emotion recognition. To address the problems of semantic misdirection and emotional cross-talk encountered by traditional models when confronted with complex conversational data, we propose a semantic and emotional dual channel (SEDC) strategy for emotion recognition in conversations to process emotional and semantic information independently. Under this strategy, emotion information provides an auxiliary recognition function when the semantics are unclear or lacking, enhancing the accuracy of the model. Our model consists of two modules: the emotion processing module accurately captures the emotional features of each utterance through contrastive learning, and then constructs a dialogue emotion propagation map to simulate the emotional information conveyed in the dialogue;the semantic processing module combines an external knowledge base to enhance the semantic expression of the dialogue through knowledge enhancement strategies. This divide-and-conquer approach allows us to more deeply analyze the emotional and semantic dimensions of complex dialogues. Experimental results on the IEMOCAP, EmoryNLP, MELD, and DailyDialog datasets show that our approach significantly outperforms existing techniques and effectively improves the accuracy of dialogue emotion recognition.
