Using MD5 hashing of passwords in web logins is highly vulnerable to dictionary attacks. One online application for cracking hashed passwords using a dictionary attack that is free and easy to use is ***. Even so, the use of hashing passwords using MD5 which has a low level of security is still commonly found to secure web login passwords. This research presents an increase in security through a combination of salt hash passwords when using MD5. The methodology of this study uses a quantitative experimental method to apply hash salt passwords using the MD5 combination. The password cracking test was carried out using the *** online hash cracking application on weak passwords such as “admin” with the addition of a password hash salt using the MD5 combination. The results showed that Salt Password using the MD5 combination could not be cracked by *** using a dictionary attack.

Lampung Province is one of the regions with the highest cocoa production, but many factors can interfere with cocoa production. One of them is the factor of pests and diseases of cocoa that cannot be identified and prevented beforehand. An expert system is a system that adopts expert knowledge or experts in a particular field. However, the diagnosis usually contains uncertainty in the form of answers and statements used. Certainty Factor (CF) algorithm, is one of the algorithms that is able to overcome uncertainty by providing a value for the level of trust from experts and users. However, because the CF value is based on the level of confidence in the symptoms experienced by the user, it creates a problem, namely the consistency of the user's answers. So, it is necessary to make improvements to the CF algorithm, to overcome the inconsistency of user answers through the use of Consistency Ratio (CR). Through the use of CR, inconsistencies are overcome through comparisons between the consistency index and the random index. Based on the results of the accuracy test, the proposed model is able to produce an accuracy rate of 86.67% in the diagnosis of pests and diseases on cocoa plants.

Several studies have examined the connection between innovation, technology, and organizational culture in recent years. Management of technology and innovation is crucial to an organization's expansion and success. The development of an innovative organizational culture comes before technology and innovation management. This study's primary goal was to assess how organizational culture affects innovation in the Indian service sector. The study made use of a paradigm for understanding organisational culture created by Cameron and Quinn, which looks at culture as a collection of conflicting values from four angles. A descriptive survey research design was used in the investigation. Employees of service industries made up the study's population. More than twenty IT organizations participated in the survey, and 120 out of 180 respondents returned completed questionnaires. This indicated a response rate of 66%.The collected data was analyzed using inferential data analysis techniques and descriptive statistics. Tables and figures were created after analysis with IBM SPSS software. The results demonstrated that the strongest associations with innovation and technology were found in companies with flexible, collaborative, and employee-friendly cultures. Lastly, the study suggests areas for additional research, such as employing a new organizational culture model for the study or qualitative techniques for data collecting and analysis to reveal deeper cultural features. © 2024 IEEE.

The research objective of this is to see how to apply science practicum online using Microsoft Teams and Learning Management System (LMS). The form of this research is classroom action research which aims to apply the online science practicum during the Covid 19 pandemic. Therefore, it is carried out using two cycles in the application of online science practicum. The subjects of this study were students of the seventh semester in the Natural science practicum course. Through observation and evaluation, it is shown that in the cycle I the percentage of practicum implementation which includes aspects of preparation, process and data and practicum results is 87.5%, in cycle II it has increased to 92.5%. In the assessment aspect of the practicum report, the average practicum assessment obtained in the first cycle was 3.09 from the highest score of 4 and in the second cycle was 3.7, while the aspect of student knowledge about the use of the Microsoft team which was taken using google form was 93%. In the aspect of student knowledge about the use of Learning Management System (LMS) by 75% and aspects of student understanding in the implementation of online science practicum using Microsoft Teams by 75%. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. One of the central goals of neuroscience is to gain a mechanistic understanding of how the dynamics of neural circuits give rise to their observed function. A popular approach towards this end is to train recurrent neural networks (RNNs) to reproduce experimental recordings of neural activity. These trained RNNs are then treated as surrogate models of biological neural circuits, whose properties can be dissected via dynamical systems analysis. How reliable are the mechanistic insights derived from this procedure? While recent advances in population-level recording technologies have allowed simultaneous recording of up to tens of thousands of neurons, this represents only a tiny fraction of most cortical circuits. Here we show that observing only a subset of neurons in a circuit can create mechanistic mismatches between a simulated teacher network and a data-constrained student, even when the two networks have matching single-unit dynamics. In particular, partial observation of models of low-dimensional cortical dynamics based on functionally feedforward or low-rank connectivity can lead to surrogate models with spurious attractor structure. Our results illustrate the challenges inherent in accurately uncovering neural mechanisms from single-trial data, and suggest the need for new methods of validating data-constrained models for neural dynamics. © 2024 Neural information processing systems foundation. Scientists have long tried to predict evolutionary outcomes in order to design vaccines for next year’s diseases, stabilize endangered ecosystems, or make better choices in designing evolutionary algorithms. To predict, however, we must first be able to retroactively identify the key steps that determined the evolved state. Researchers have long examined the role of historical contingency in evolution;when do small, seemingly insignificant mutations substantially shift the probabilities of what traits or behaviors ultimately evolve? Practitioners of experimental evolution have recently begun to investigate this question using a new technique: analytic replay experiments. We can found many populations with a given genotype in order to measure the probability of a particular trait evolving from that starting point;we call this the "potentiation" of that genotype. Moving along a lineage, we can identify which mutations altered potentiation. Here we used digital organisms to conduct a high-resolution analysis of how individual mutations affected the potentiation of associative learning. We find that the probability of evolving associative learning can increase suddenly–even with a single mutation that appeared innocuous when it occurred. While there was no obvious signal to identify potentiating mutations as they arose, we were able to retrospectively identify mechanisms by which these mutations influenced subsequent evolution. Many of the most interesting and complex evolutionary adaptations that occur in nature are exceptionally rare. Here, we extend techniques for understanding these rare evolutionary events and the patterns and processes that produce them. © 2023, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. All rights reserved.

Molten salt has attracted the attention of researchers, especially as a coolant because of its characteristics. This study aimed to analyse the transient and steady-state of the natural circulation system in the molten salt loop with vertical heater and horizontal cooler using computational fluid dynamics. The computational fluid dynamics module in the COMSOL Multiphysics software was used to solve governing equations. Experimental data from several references were used as input data in modelling. The loop was modelled as a rectangular loop with Inconel 625 as the pipe material and molten salt (NaNO3+KNO3) as the working fluid. The variation of heater power was also carried out in modelling. The modelling results showed a good agreement with the experimental results. The results provided that the molten salt natural circulation loop with vertical heater and horizontal cooler showed good flow stability without reversal of flow direction. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Home security is a crucial aspect that requires careful attention, particularly when it comes to addressing theft concerns. Hence, implementing smart door technology equipped with facial recognition holds promising potential for enhancing home security. This study aims to develop a more secure and regulated home entry system by leveraging Internet of Things (IoT) technology and Machine Learning Computer Vision for facial recognition. The system integrates IoT devices, such as cameras and automatic doors, wherein facial image data is captured by the camera and processed using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm to identify individuals. Once an individual is recognized, the system grants access to the home through an automated door. By relying on facial features, the system effectively restricts unauthorized access and safeguards homes against theft risks. Therefore, the advancement of a safer and more controlled home entry system utilizing IoT technology and Machine Learning Computer Vision holds tremendous benefits for homeowners.

The urgency of improving skills is a problem in one of the schools in Yogyakarta, especially communication skills in learning. Therefore, this study aims to improve communication skills by utilising mind mapping and TPACK (Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge) in a pair of checks. The subjects of this study were thirty-eighth-grade students of Junior High School (JHS) of 5 Banguntapan Yogyakarta, totalling thirty-two students. This research is qualitative research with a class action research design. Classroom action research by referring to the Kemmis & McTaggart model, namely through stages (1) planning;(2) implementation;(3) observation;(4) reflection. The four stages are carried out in cycles. Data collection is done by observation, questionnaire and documentation. Observations were made to find out the pair of mind check assisted with mind maps. The questionnaire is filled in by students to find out communication skills. Documentation to document student and teacher activities during pair check assisted with a mind map. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive analysis with percentages and qualitative descriptive. The results showed that the average communication skills increased by 5.55%. © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

To determine the quality of beef, it is usually seen using a flashlight and matching it with a predetermined color standard. However, this method is time consuming and the results are inconsistent due to human visual limitations. This study aims to identify the freshness of beef based on its color characteristics using feature extraction method with HSV and LDA method for identification. The identification process begins with the transformation process from RGB images to L*a*b, then image segmentation serves to separate one object from another and image identification uses the LDA method with feature extraction using HSV. The use of color feature extraction with the HSV algorithm to assist in obtaining information from the colors contained in the image for easy identification. Furthermore, the LDA algorithm has a function to obtain the maximum projection to obtain a smaller dimensional space so that the desired patterns can be separated through the boundary line of a linear equation so as to form a certain class or group. Based on the test results using the confusion matrix, it produces a precision value of 80%, recall of 84%, and accuracy of 82%.
