Thermomagnetic anomalies in quantum magnon transport caused by tunable junction geometries in cold atomic systems

We study magnon-driven spin and heat transport in a magnetic linear junction (MLJ) formed by two ferromagnets in optical lattices linked via linearly aligned bonds. Using the Schwinger-Keldysh formalism, we uncover that under weak effective Zeeman fields, where Bose-Einstein statistics of magnons dominate, magnonic criticality dramatically enhances spin and thermal conductances. These singular transport properties depend on the junction geometry, and the transport properties qualitatively differ between the linear junction in this paper and the point contact in our previous work. The quantum-enhanced conductances result in the breakdown of the magnonic Wiedemann-Franz (WF) law. In the classical regime at temperatures much lower than magnon energy gaps, we find that a magnonic Lorenz number becomes independent of temperature yet dependent on junction geometry, sharply contrasting with the universal WF law for Fermi liquids. We also find that the interface geometry of the MLJ decouples spin and heat relaxations between ferromagnets with decay times insensitive to temperature and effective Zeeman fields. These dynamics reveal junction-geometry-sensitive magnon transport distinct from Fermi liquids, paving the way for new avenues in thermomagnetic research leveraging the tunability of cold atomic systems.

This research is an approach to intelligent vehicles with a LoRa communication system, LoRaWAN compatible for Long-Range and Outdoor Communication, but in this paper, we will test the ability of LoRa to handle autonomous vehicles, a Blind-Adaptive Data method will be tried on vehicles systems. The system offered is when the vehicle is running, the sensor will send position data in real-time, the number of vehicles is four, and GPS data is sent alternately using the Blind Adaptive Data Rate principle to avoid data collisions, and when the GPS shows a certain position, the value of SF is ascertained, which affects the data rate and ToA, and the output given is RSSI on each car, speed of a car, power consumption of sensor nodes, signal power, SNR, Bit rate or data rate, and sensitivity. With the Blind ADR principle, it is ensured that there is no data collision between car position data that causes packet loss.

Several studies have examined the connection between innovation, technology, and organizational culture in recent years. Management of technology and innovation is crucial to an organization's expansion and success. The development of an innovative organizational culture comes before technology and innovation management. This study's primary goal was to assess how organizational culture affects innovation in the Indian service sector. The study made use of a paradigm for understanding organisational culture created by Cameron and Quinn, which looks at culture as a collection of conflicting values from four angles. A descriptive survey research design was used in the investigation. Employees of service industries made up the study's population. More than twenty IT organizations participated in the survey, and 120 out of 180 respondents returned completed questionnaires. This indicated a response rate of 66%.The collected data was analyzed using inferential data analysis techniques and descriptive statistics. Tables and figures were created after analysis with IBM SPSS software. The results demonstrated that the strongest associations with innovation and technology were found in companies with flexible, collaborative, and employee-friendly cultures. Lastly, the study suggests areas for additional research, such as employing a new organizational culture model for the study or qualitative techniques for data collecting and analysis to reveal deeper cultural features.

Dual-phase γ-TiAl and α2−Ti3Al alloys exhibit high strength and creep resistance at high temperatures. However, they suffer from low tensile ductility and fracture toughness at room temperature. Experimental studies show unusual plastic behavior associated with ordinary and superdislocations, making it necessary to gain a detailed understanding on their core properties in individual phases and at the two-phase interfaces. Unfortunately, extended superdislocation cores are widely dissociated beyond the length scales practical for routine first-principles density-functional theory (DFT) calculations, while extant interatomic potentials are not quantitatively accurate to reveal mechanistic origins of the unusual core-related behavior in either phases. Here, we develop a highly accurate moment tensor potential (MTP) for the binary Ti-Al alloy system using a DFT dataset covering a broad range of intermetallic and solid solution structures. The optimized MTP is rigorously benchmarked against both previous and new DFT calculations, and unlike existing potentials, is shown to possess outstanding accuracy in nearly all tested mechanical properties, including lattice parameters, elastic constants, surface energies, and generalized stacking fault energies (GSFE) in both phases. The utility of the MTP is further demonstrated by producing dislocation core structures largely consistent with expectations from DFT-GSFE and experimental observations. The new MTP opens the path to realistic modeling and simulations of bulk lattice and defect properties relevant to the plastic deformation and fracture processes in γ-TiAl and α2−Ti3Al dual-phase alloys.

Mangrove forests have an important function in human life that cannot be replaced by other functions. The existence of mangrove forests has six main functions, namely biological, ecological, physical, social, economic and chemical functions. This article discusses the description of mangrove forest management in meeting the needs of the economic and social functions of the fishing communities on the coast of Merauke Regency, Papua Province, which were reviewed descriptively using relevant literature studies. In terms of economic function, mangrove forests provide economic value for fishing communities because mangrove forests become habitat for crabs, fish and other marine biota that are captured and sold as the main source of family income. In addition, the use of mangrove forests by fishermen on the coast is used as firewood and building materials. The high utilization of mangrove forests by coastal communities that ignores ecological sustainability causes damage to mangrove forests that threatens the sustainability of ecological functions. Damage to mangrove forests in Merauke in the period 2000-2005 was recorded as wide as 2,416 ha while in the 2005-2010 period damage reached 2,233 ha of the total area of the Merauke mangrove forest which reached 216,001.95 Ha or 6.98% of the Merauke forest area. Based on this, the management of mangrove forest utilization needs to get more attention from various parties so that the ecological function of mangrove forests as a condition of sustainable development, especially for fishing communities on the coast, can be realized in Merauke Regency. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Jagakarsa is an urban area in South Jakarta, Indonesia, that uses groundwater for raw water because there are no clean water supply facilities. The significant increase in the need for clean water due to increasing urbanization threatens groundwater availability to maintain the balance of the surrounding environment. Natural conditions with a deep layer of clay and a dense built environment further increase runoff capacity because water has difficulty seeping into the soil. The intense extraction of groundwater without balancing groundwater recharge results in land subsidence. Until now, there has been no research on this issue. Thus, our research is necessary. This research aims to assess the potential of groundwater infiltration areas in Jagakarsa. Due to limited data, as a first step, we used a qualitative model with MCDM analysis (AHP and MIF methods) integrated with GIS to map potential groundwater recharge areas. The AHP method is explained in detail with a matrix system formula, readers can understand the calculation steps more easily. This study uses five influencing factors: geological formation, land use, slope, rainfall, and soil type. The results show that most study locations have low potential (AHP 74.49 % and MIF 75.25 %) for groundwater recharge. This groundwater recharge potential map was validated using groundwater level measurements. The accuracy of the AHP is 74.51 %, and the MIF method reaches 75.26 %. Therefore, further research is needed to obtain appropriate and effective technology for maintaining groundwater availability. © 2024 The Authors

Fishing can be done in various ways, including by utilizing lights as fishing tools. The lights used for fishing tools are varied, ranging from torch lights, pressure paraffin lamp, fluorescent lamps (TL, PL, SL, CFL), mercury, and various types of led. However, light transition between one colors to another often scares the fish, driving them out of catchable area shocked by the color change. One solution to address this problem is by smoothly switching the color of the lamp using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) system on the microcontroller. The color used are the lamp with basic colors of red, green and blue. With power capacity of 50Watt/12Volt, this lamp is classified as High Power Led (HPL) lamp. The light can be free-adjusted, where each lamp can be turned on by its own light or can also be turned on in combination. It can slowly be switch on from an off position to maximum and also can be dimmed from maximum to off. Thus the intensity of the light can be controlled. The HPL and control sections were created separately. Tools and materials used are consist of push-button, microcontroller, optocoupler, mosfet and Red, Green and Blue HPL, Radio-meter (ILT5000 Research Radiometer), Voltmeter, and Amperemeter. The method used was experimental in both laboratory and field. The result of research is in the form of RGB HPL lamp which can be adjusted through control system, such as adjusment for each lamp, or light combination with smooth color transition. Thus, when this technology is applied as fishing tool in liftnet fishing, the targeted fish would still remain on catchable area. © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The Co-Fe-Nb materials system is a crucial material for magnetic applications. Despite its importance, the phase equilibria and thermodynamic characteristics of this ternary system have not been explored in detail. This study employs the Calphad method to model the phase equilibria of the Co-Fe-Nb ternary system. To obtain the ternary interaction parameters, the experimental data on the isothermal sections at temperatures ranging from 700°C to 1300°C was evaluated. These findings indicate that the Co-Fe-Nb system contains no ternary compound, and the (Co,Fe)7Nb6 phase exists as a single solid solution. Significant solubility of the third element in the binary compounds of Co2Nb (laves C14) and Fe2Nb (laves C15) is also observed. The results are in good agreement with the experimental data. Furthermore, a liquidus projection of the system is presented, for the first time, revealing seven primary solidification phases in the Co-Fe-Nb ternary system. © 2023, The Authors. Learning Curves for Noisy Heterogeneous Feature-Subsampled Ridge Ensembles

Feature bagging is a well-established ensembling method which aims to reduce prediction variance by combining predictions of many estimators trained on subsets or projections of features. Here, we develop a theory of feature-bagging in noisy least-squares ridge ensembles and simplify the resulting learning curves in the special case of equicorrelated data. Using analytical learning curves, we demonstrate that subsampling shifts the double-descent peak of a linear predictor. This leads us to introduce heterogeneous feature ensembling, with estimators built on varying numbers of feature dimensions, as a computationally efficient method to mitigate double-descent. Then, we compare the performance of a feature-subsampling ensemble to a single linear predictor, describing a trade-off between noise amplification due to subsampling and noise reduction due to ensembling. Our qualitative insights carry over to linear classifiers applied to image classification tasks with realistic datasets constructed using a state-of-the-art deep learning feature map. © 2023, CC BY-SA.

The mandatory carbon reduction guidelines and regulations in Indonesia encourage all industrial sectors particularly the petroleum industry to implement decarbonization programs by systematically reducing carbon emissions as part of climate action. Unlike existing carbon emission studies in the petroleum industry, the literature lacks studies on the decarbonization patterns. In addition, the effectiveness of carbon mitigation in the upstream oil and gas field has not been studied so far. This study developed short panel data models to understand the current decarbonization efforts and patterns during 2015–2018. The results indicate that the considered variables are significantly impactful in carbon reduction with different coefficient patterns. It is suggested to associate decarbonization with oil and gas production and highlight energy efficiency optimization to stabilize production. The impact of financial, human, and administrative resources on the supporting facility is critical for executing sustainable carbon mitigation projects. © 2024 The Authors
