Currently, there are a lot of measurement data on different items collected over time. The GMANOVA model is appropriate for analyzing the trends in such data, in order to analyze some longitudinal data collected on different items simultaneously, we need to create separate GMANOVA models, but separate GMANOVA models cannot reveal the relationships between items. Also, if we try to apply one model to all of these data, the problem arises that there are too many parameters and the covariance structure is too large. Therefore, we propose an extended GMANOVA model and two estimation algorithms. The proposed model’s covariance matrix has a Kronecker structure. Therefore, because the estimator cannot be uniquely determined using the log-likelihood, we propose two parameter estimation algorithms. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Fuzzy time series theory is a concept of artificial intelligence that can use to conduct forecasting technique.. This paper discusses the fuzzy logic concept to develop the base of the fuzzy time series with time invariant and time variant methods. There are several methods of fuzzy time series, including Markov Chain method and Chen and Hsu method. The Markov Chain method combines between the fuzzy time series and the Markov Chain. This merger goals to finest opportunity of the use matrix probability transitions. Chen and Hsu method is based on the historical data difference in conducting forecasting. By using Markov Chain and Chen & Hsu methods, it may achieve forecasting outcomes with a low mistakes rate. To clarify each technique and for comparison further, it is given an example of the relevant issue to be resolved by both methods. The consequences acquired can be compared, so it can be concluded which method is better. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In this paper, the authors investigate the current state of the lighting design and control sector in Thailand's creative industry. The government aims to promote the creative industry as a key source of income, but there needs more skilled professionals in the industry. The authors have found that successful cases have used the Internet for remote controlling in the creative industry in other countries. Therefore, the paper will explore the potential of using technology to improve professional efficiency and assess the feasibility of implementing remote lighting control systems via the Internet with Thai lighting designers and lighting console operators. Data will be collected through qualitative in-depth interviews and quantitative surveys. The results have shown a promising acceptance rate of wireless devices for lighting control due to their mobility, flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and positive attitudes toward adopting Internet technology. The authors have also proposed a concept design for an internet-based control system tailored to Thai users, focusing on simplicity, ease of connection, and user-friendliness to accommodate those with limited network configuration knowledge. The proposed system aims to reduce professionals, save time, and increase convenience, leveraging Thailand's extensive wireless internet coverage. These systems could significantly benefit Thailand's creative industry by addressing the shortage of skilled professionals and improving efficiency. © 2024 IEEE.

Enterprise Architecture Framework (EAF) is a commonly used framework and the best solution for addressing and defining the transformation that needs to be built to support business operations. To be able to make the transition quickly, many higher education institutions (HEIs) are starting to adopt EAF. This research aims to help the evolution and transpiration of enterprise architecture research in higher education. This research uses a systematic literature review (SLR) research method which includes several steps, namely identifying research questions, identifying research sources, using keywords to complete the data discovery process, disseminating data, and analyzing the results to answer research questions. The data used comes from digital libraries, especially Emerald Insight, IEEE Xplore Digital Library, and science Direct. Data taken from 2019 to 2023 in RIS format will then be analyzed and visualized using VosViewer. The results of this research are to find the growth of research publications over five years, find research trends on enterprise architecture frameworks, identify relationships between scientific concepts, and determine the knowledge network of enterprise architecture frameworks based on keywords. © 2023 IEEE.

The application of information technology in addition to making internal business processes more effective and efficient, is also to improve customer service. This role is important for companies to maintain the sustainability of information systems as a strategic tool for competitive advantage so system availability is absolutely essential. Research related to the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) needs to be carried out to see the readiness of a corporation to build a backup system in different places and locations. By using the method of factor analysis and regression analysis to form an evaluation model, it will obtain an overview of what factors must be considered and what the current conditions are. The results of the study show that there are Core Technical DRP, Organizational Preparation, and Costing factors which are the main variables in supporting DRP readiness. The conclusion from this study, through these three new factors a mathematical model can be built as a reference for improving DRP implementation in corporations. © 2023 The Authors. The present study determines the environmental quality and carrying capacity for the restoration of the degraded mangroves in Southeast Sulawesi. The physico-chemical conditions of estuarine water and its sediment nutrient contents were determined in both protected and unprotected areas, with no significant difference (p > 0.05) except for nitrogen and inorganic carbon contents of water. The current study found promising environments for the restoration of degraded mangroves in unprotected areas in Southeast Sulawesi. © 2024 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.

According to the market research report, the nuclear decommissioning services market is currently experiencing considerable growth, with a projected Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of nearly 13% during the 2020–2024 forecast period. This expansion is primarily fueled by the advancement of Industry 4.0, in conjunction with the emergence of cutting-edge technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data, artificial intelligence, and 5G. Even though the fact that robots have already been utilized in the nuclear industry, their adoption has been hindered by conservative regulations. However, the nuclear decommissioning market presents an opportunity for the advancement of robotics technology. The British have already invested heavily in encouraging the use of intelligent robots for nuclear decommissioning, and other countries, such as Taiwan, should follow suit. Taiwan's flourishing robotics development industry in manufacturing, logistics, and other domains can be leveraged to introduce advanced robotics in the decommissioning of its nuclear power plants. By doing so, Taiwan can establish itself as a competitive player in the nuclear decommissioning services market for the next two decades. © 2023 Korean Nuclear Society

This note reformulates certain classical combinatorial duality theorems in the context of order lattices. For source-target networks, we generalize bottleneck path-cut and flow-cut duality results to edges with capacities in a distributive lattice. For posets, we generalize a bottleneck version of Dilworth’s theorem, again weighted in a distributive lattice. A previous study found that local Indonesian seas play a significant role in causing extreme precipitation and spread over the Maritime Continent during the anomalously wet dry season. However, the influence of sea surface temperature on convective rainfall still needs to be investigated. Here, we analyzed the response of convective activity to the sea surface temperature (SST) using monthly data of SST and outgoing longwave radiation (OLR) derived from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecast (ECMWF) reanalysis 5th Generation (ERA5) with a spanning record from 2010 to 2019. The monthly variation shows that the significant response (60–80%) of convective activity to SST was initiated from May to October over mostly local Indonesian sea. The spatial correlation between SST and OLR shows that SST leads to OLR over the entire local sea except in the Arafura and Banda seas during May, which might correspond to the strengthening of meridional wind from the Pacific Ocean. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.
