In this study, the direct and indirect effects of the investments allocated to the development of transport on 25 sectors were evaluated through the multiplier models built based on the input-output table and the social accounting matrix (SAM) for the economy of Azerbaijan. The results of both models were analyzed and compared. The research shows that the multiplicative effects of investments directed to the transport sector estimated with multiplier model based on SAM was greater than the effect estimated using input-output model. The main reason for this is that in the SAM multiplier model, along with intermediate consumption, the multiplier effects of added value and net export are also considered. However, these effects have been of a different nature in the mining industry and in the field of scientificresearch and development. The main reason for this is that the services of these fields are paid mainly at the expense of imports (software expenses, fees paid for scientific articles, etc.).

The East-West transport corridor passing through Azerbaijan, being one of the main transport and logistics centers in the region, is the shortest transport route connecting Europe and Asia and is important in cargo transportation between Europe and the China-Kazakhstan border. In this paper, the design and experimental research of a broadband power amplifier is presented. This device is designed for using in 5G network base stations. Authors had declared a gain at level of more than 11 dB at frequency band of 4.4 - 4.9 GHz. Also it maintains an output power of 40 dBm when compressed with a gain of 3 dB. This power amplifier is also protected from the effects of high-frequency harmonics. That means that the amplifier described in this article meets standards of modern network systems.

This article examines various types of general equilibrium models and provides information on the current state of general equilibrium models built in Azerbaijan. Additionally, current limitations and options to tackle them are addressed to continue building general equilibrium models in this country. Then, the article estimates the effects of investments in different sectors using input-output model and social accounting matrix based multiplier model in case of Azerbaijan, and the results of two models are compared. The article is of practical importance for researchers and decision-makers by stimulating of constructing these models and of scientific importance by considering problems related using these models for countries with similar economies.

To design linear controlsystems a new method is suggested on the basis of the principle of output and impacts control. The main difference of this principle consists in the use of only measurable variables and separate operators for each input signal of the control device. The design problem has a solution if the plant is completely controllable, and at least the controllable variable is measured. The suggested approach makes it possible to eliminate the well-known contradiction between the accuracy and stability of systems with control on deviation, and to provide the required astatism orders or selective invariance to the external actions. At the same time, the conditions of ensuring the direct indicators of the transient quality and the physical implementation of the control device are taken into account. The coefficients of the equation of the output and impacts control device are determined by solving a system of linear algebraic equations. The control device can be implemented on the basis of either operational amplifiers or sufficiently high-speed digital automation tools. The suggested method can be applied for designing high-quality linear controlsystems for various purposes.

In recent years, chaotic dynamics have been widely applied in encryption, secure communications, and pseudo- random number generators. Due to its simplicity, 1-D maps are a promising tool for the mentioned applications. This work presents the analog electronic implementation of the discrete dynamic system known as the tent map. In the design of the electronic circuit, passive and active components have been considered, achieving experimental results from the tent mapping in correspondence with the results of its numerical simulations. As in the theoretical case, the analog implementation of the tent map presents chaos, fixed points, intermittency, and period doubling. The proposed approach is simple, uses off-the-shelf components, and can be built by undergraduate students.

We propose a novel linear model predictive control (MPC) using a lifted bilinear model based on Koopman theory, which is computationally scalable against the dimension of the target system and the prediction horizon length. In MPC, the accuracy of the prediction model determines control performance, but it is a challenge to reduce the computational cost especially when considering nonlinearity of the model. To address this, a method has been proposed which represents the nonlinear input affine system as a lifted bilinear model and utilizes linear approximation and prediction error correction regarding the lifted state to achieve a low-computational-cost linear MPC with equivalent performance to nonlinear MPC. However, although the previous studies have shown its effectiveness for relatively low-order systems, it has not been applied to practical systems with higher dimensions. In this study, we extend the conventional method and propose a scalable linear MPC using a lifted bilinear model and apply it to higher-order nonlinear systems. In this paper, a quadrotor system operating in three-dimensional space is considered and its analytical lifted bilinear model is derived. In the formulation of linear MPC using the lifted bilinear model, an error correction method is newly introduced to feedback error for adjustment of the numerical relationships among the elements in the lifted state. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated through numerical simulations.
