In recent years,cryptocurrency has become gradually more significant in economic regions *** cryptocurrencies,records are stored using a cryptographic *** main aim of this research was to develop an optimal solution for predicting the price of cryptocurrencies based on user opinions from social *** is used as a marketing tool for cryptoanalysis owing to the unrestricted conversations on cryptocurrencies that take place on social media ***,this work focuses on extracting Tweets and gathering data from different sources to classify them into positive,negative,and neutral categories,and further examining the correlations between cryptocurrency movements and Tweet *** paper proposes an optimized method using a deep learning algorithm and convolution neural network for cryptocurrency prediction;this method is used to predict the prices of four cryptocurrencies,namely,Litecoin,Monero,Bitcoin,and *** results of analyses demonstrate that the proposed method forecasts prices with a high accuracy of about 98.75%.The method is validated by comparison with existing methods using visualization tools.

The segregation of waste and recycling is essential for effective waste management. Due to the busy schedule most of the people do not have a time to separate their waste. However, there is a significant issue with the segregation of the collected garbage. The implementation of an intelligent trash-management architecture is essential for the removal or reduction of waste and the maintenance of a clean, corporate environment. An IoT-stationed smart waste management device is proposed in this study that uses sensor devices to identify rubbish in the dustbins. With the aid of sensors, the waste substances in it will be separated through IoT as soon as it is discovered. Sensors and the IoT module are connected through a microcontroller. To detect the presence of garbage, an ultrasonic sensor is used. All garbage entered will be caught by the web camera and processed by the machine learning module once it has been processed. Using the model, we can identify the many forms of waste, such as paper, plastic, and glass, which account for most of the garbage materials found in a home area. This aids in removing the trash from the trash can in the most efficient and effective manner possible. This research presents an IoT, and Machine Learning based completely intelligent trash segregation and management System that recognizes the dustbins' wastes using sensor systems. This project aims to develop an automated waste segregation system using a CNN algorithm that will capture waste images from a camera with object detection and classify waste materials such as paper, plastic, and glass so that the waste can be recycled appropriately. The proposed architecture with CNN gives an accuracy of 84.67%. This system will help in garbage disposal by categorizing it, contributing to a cleaner environment. © 2023 IEEE.

In an era marked by escalating cybersecurity threats,our study addresses the challenge of malware variant detection,a significant concern for amultitude of sectors including petroleum and mining *** paper presents an innovative Application Programmable Interface(API)-based hybrid model designed to enhance the detection performance of malware *** model integrates eXtreme Gradient Boosting(XGBoost)and an Artificial Neural Network(ANN)classifier,offering a potent response to the sophisticated evasion and obfuscation techniques frequently deployed by malware *** model’s design capitalizes on the benefits of both static and dynamic analysis to extract API-based features,providing a holistic and comprehensive view of malware *** these features,we construct two XGBoost predictors,each of which contributes a valuable perspective on the malicious activities under *** outputs of these predictors,interpreted as malicious scores,are then fed into an ANN-based classifier,which processes this data to derive a final *** strength of the proposed model lies in its capacity to leverage behavioral and signature-based features,and most importantly,in its ability to extract and analyze the hidden relations between these two types of *** efficacy of our proposed APIbased hybrid model is evident in its performance *** outperformed other models in our tests,achieving an impressive accuracy of 95%and an F-measure of 93%.This significantly improved the detection performance of malware variants,underscoring the value and potential of our approach in the challenging field of cybersecurity.

Offsets Reconstruction Method for Clock Skew Measurement Over High-Jitter Communication

Measuring clock skew of devices over a network fully relies on the offsets, the differences between sending and receiving times. Offsets that shape a thick line are the most ideal one as their slope is directly the clock skew sought. When some outliers separate from the thick line due to higher delay jitter, current advanced approaches use the lower bound or the majority of offsets to derive accurate clock skew. However, outliers in offsets that shape parallel dotted lines, reduce the availability of offsets in the lower region, and scatter widely the offsets from their majority zone. These conditions drive the current skew estimation approaches to lose their accuracy. This paper then developed a new method, which reconstructs back the outliers into their origin positions, in order to provide ideal offsets for clock skew measurement. The experimental evaluations have demonstrated that the clock skew accuracy of dotted-lines offsets tampered by outliers was improved from 2.1 to 0.9 ppm by the proposed reconstruction method. For a broader purpose, the reconstruction method has been adjusted to be implemented also on non-dotted-lines offsets. The robustness of the proposed method for this case has also been exhibited by the very ideal reconstructed offsets that shape like a thick line. © The Author(s) 2025.

Automatic Speaker Identification (ASI) is so crucial for security. Current ASI systems perform well in quiet and clean surroundings. However, in noisy situations, the robustness of an ASI system against additive noise and interference is a crucial factor. An investigation of the impact of interference on ASI system performance is presented in this paper, which introduces algorithms for achieving high ASI system performance. The objective is to resist the interference of various forms. This paper presents two models for the ASI task in the presence of interference. The first one depends on Normalized Pitch Frequency (NPF) and Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCCs) as extracted features and Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) as a classifier. In this model, we investigate the utilization of a Discrete Transform (DT), such as Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT), Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) and Discrete Sine Transform (DST), to increase the robustness of extracted features against different types of degradation through exploiting the sub-band decomposition characteristics of DWT and the energy compaction property of DCT and DST. This is achieved by extracting features directly from contaminated speech signals in addition to features extracted from discrete transformed signals to create hybrid feature vectors. The enhancement techniques, such as Spectral Subtraction (SS), Winer Filter, and adaptive Wiener filter, are used in a preprocessing stage to eliminate the effect of the interference on the ASI system. In the second model, we investigate the utilization of Deep Learning (DL) based on a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with speech signal spectrograms and their Radon transforms to increase the robustness of the ASI system against interference effects. The utilisation of ML (Machine Learning) techniques in the detection of the VP (Voice Pathology) has recently gained a lot of consideration. However, these efforts still have several drawbacks such as: I) the accuracy rates of most previous works are still not promising and need more improvement. II) The majority of the previous works have concentrated on the task of VP detection only and disregarded the task of VP classification. III) Most of the previous works have been assessed based on a single voice data only like the vowel /a/, and the other vowels (/i/, and /u/) and sentences were disregarded. IV) The majority of the previous works performance were assessed utilising a limited evaluation metrics. Recently, one of the utmost effective ML techniques is FLN (Fast Learning Network), it is an efficient technique for data classification. However, the FLN classifier has not been implemented to the problem of VP detection and classification. Therefore, this research proposes the FLN classifier with MFCC (Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficient) features in order to enhance the accuracy of the VP detection and classification. The FLN classifier has the ability to a) solve both binary and multiclass classification issues, b) eliminate overfitting, as well as c) operate akin to a NN (Neural Network) structure while employing the principles of a kernel-based SVM (Support Vector Machine). In this research, the SVD (Saarbrucken Voice Database) dataset was utilised to assess the FLN classifier performance in the VP detection and classification. The assessment of the proposed FLN classifier was conducted based on two phases: the first phase includes all the voice samples of the SVD dataset with the sentences and vowels (i.e., /a/, /i/, and /u/) which are pronounced in neutral, high, and low pitches. While the second phase uses the voice samples of the utmost common 3 pathology types (i.e., paralysis, polyp, and cyst) based on the vowel /a/ that is pronounced in neutral pitch. The

This paper presents the development of a secure data platform designed to enhance operational efficiency and to facilitate cross-company collaboration within the manufacturing supply chain. The platform is designed to ease secure information exchange while maintaining the sovereignty of each participant, leveraging standardized security features and advanced technologies such as federated learning. Security measures are based on a comprehensive risk analysis, which methodically identifies, assesses, and mitigates potential threats. Moreover, federated learning models that are not transparent are utilized. This allows data owners to maintain control over sensitive information within the consortium. The described approach markedly enhances both security and operational collaboration across the industry, representing a crucial stride towards more integrated and efficient supply chain management in manufacturing. © 2024 IEEE.
