In order to design and develop secure and reliable software, accurate prediction of software errors is crucial. The complex, nonlinear relationship between software features and bugs that occur during development despite precautions and measures taken to prevent them makes it difficult for traditional empirical models to predict these bugs with any degree of accuracy. An integration between the Decision Tree (DT) model and the SHAP (Shapley Additive exPlanations) technique was developed in this work with the aim of predicting software faults and providing informative explanations of the expected results. The synergistic advantages of integrating DT and SHAP allow the creation of an accurate, efficient, and fully interpretable technique. In order to make the process visible and reliable, SHAP provides a global explanation of how features of the developed software affect quality and a local explanation of how features contribute to each prediction. The tendency of software features to influence software quality was revealed by feature dependence analysis. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

The trend towards smart greenhouses stems from various factors,including a lack of agricultural land area owing to population concentration and housing construction on agricultural land,as well as water *** study proposes building a full farming adaptation model that depends on current sensor readings and available datasets from different agricultural research *** proposed model uses a one-dimensional convolutional neural network(CNN)deep learning model to control the growth of strategic crops,including cucumber,pepper,tomato,and *** proposed model uses the Internet of Things(IoT)to collect data on agricultural operations and then uses this data to control and monitor these operations in real *** helps to ensure that crops are getting the right amount of fertilizer,water,light,and temperature,which can lead to improved yields and a reduced risk of crop *** dataset is based on data collected from expert farmers,the photovoltaic construction process,agricultural engineers,and research *** experimental results showed that the precision,recall,F1-measures,and accuracy of the one-dimensional CNN for the tested dataset were approximately 97.3%,98.2%,97.25%,and 97.56%,*** new smart greenhouse automation system was also evaluated on four crops with a high turnover *** system has been found to be highly effective in terms of crop productivity,temperature management and water conservation.

This article examines the parameters of speech recognition in audio recordings containing a variety of phrases uttered by different people with different accents and intonations. The aim of the study is to evaluate the recognition speed, the accuracy of audio-to-text conversion and resource consumption when using SpeechRecognition and Levenshtein libraries. During the analysis, the above libraries were used to record and recognize audio files, as well as to calculate the distance between two lines and determine the recognition accuracy. The findings of this study can be useful for improving speech recognition systems and creating more adaptive and efficient solutions for audio data processing. The results of comparing the accuracy of speech recognition models are recorded in JSON format, after which, using the matplotlib library, they are visualized as graphs, comparing the speed and accuracy of recognition. Visualization of data in this way contributes to their improvement and more effective integration into educational systems. In conclusion, the authors emphasize the prospects for further development of speech recognition technologies in different fields. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, we propose a new pseudorandom bit sequence generator, which is based on a method digging out walls. Although each of these sequences lacks enough randomness, synthesized sequences of them can pass all of the NIST statistical test suite. We also describe a conjectural relation between the number of types on the square mazes and their sizes. © 2023 IEEE.

During the past decades, smart farming became one of the most important revolutions in the agriculture industry. Smart farming makes use of different communication technologies and modern information sciences for in-creasing the quality and quantity of the product. On the other hand, drones showed a major potential for enhancing imagery systems and re-mote sensing usage for many different applications such as crop classification, crop health monitoring and weed management. In this paper, an intelligent method for classifying crops is proposed to use a transfer learning approach based on a number of drone images. Moreover, the Convolution-al Neural Network (CNN) method is used as a classifier to improve efficiency for obtaining more accurate results in the training and testing phases. Various metrics are measured to evaluate the efficiency of the proposed model such as accuracy rate of detection, error rate and confusing matrix. It is found to be proven from the experimental results that the proposed method presents more efficient results with an accuracy detection rate of 92.93% © 2022. Digital signal processing (DSP) is used in computer processing to conduct different signal-processing tasks. The DSPs are used in the series numbers representing a continuous variable in a domain such as time, area, or frequency. The multiply-accumulate (MAC) unit is crucial in various DSP applications, including convolution, discrete cosine transform (DCT), Fourier Transform, etc. Thus, all DSPs contain a critical MAC unit in signal processing. The MAC unit conducts multiplication and accumulation operations for continuous and complicated DSP application processes. On the other hand, in the MAC structure, the stability of the circuit and the occupied area pose some significant challenges. However, high-performance quantum technology can easily overcome all the previous shortcomings. Hence, this paper suggests an efficient MAC for DSP applications using a Vedic multiplier, half adder, and accumulator based on quantum technology. All the proposed structures have used a single-layer layout without rotated cells. The suggested architecture is designed and validated based on the QCADesigner 2.0.3 tool. The findings revealed that all the developed circuits have a simple architecture with fewer quantum cells, optimal area, and low latency. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.

As corona virus disease(COVID-19)is still an ongoing global outbreak,countries around the world continue to take precautions and measures to control the spread of the *** of the excessive number of infected patients and the resulting deficiency of testing kits in hospitals,a rapid,reliable,and automatic detection of COVID-19 is in extreme need to curb the number of *** analyzing the COVID-19 chest X-ray images,a novel metaheuristic approach is proposed based on hybrid dipper throated and particle swarm *** lung region was segmented from the original chest X-ray images and augmented using various transformation ***,the augmented images were fed into the VGG19 deep network for feature *** the other hand,a feature selection method is proposed to select the most significant features that can boost the classification ***,the selected features were input into an optimized neural network for *** neural network is optimized using the proposed hybrid *** experimental results showed that the proposed method achieved 99.88%accuracy,outperforming the existing COVID-19 detection *** addition,a deep statistical analysis is performed to study the performance and stability of the proposed *** results confirm the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed approach.

The rapid growth of urban areas, population, and pollution presents a significant environmental challenge. Addressing these challenges requires innovative analytical approaches and data sources. This study focuses on the three-scale phenomena of the environmental system, physical environment, and regional surroundings, considering their implications on a global network scale. Remote sensing data, with its easy accessibility, offers new toolkits and methods to improve the global environment. It provides self-consistent measurements of vital physical attributes and surpasses traditional data sources regarding accuracy, efficiency, and coverage of larger geographical areas. This study aims to identify and analyze appropriate satellite image analysis tools for healthcare. The study objectives include studying available tools, analyzing their features, categorizing tools into open-source and commercial categories, and providing recommendations. This study emphasizes feature extraction and image enhancement parameters, which are crucial for image analysis. The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is a major global health threat that was spreading very quickly around the world. Many mathematical models are being formulated to study the spread of COVID-19 and to predict its evolution, in order to help mitigating future outbreaks. The Susceptible-Exposed-Infectious-Recovered (SEIR) model is considered a prevalent model that describes various diseases outbreaks including COVID-19. The model divides the individuals into four groups;susceptible, exposed, infectious, recovered. To predict the evolution of the pandemic using the SEIR model, we first estimate the parameters as well as initial conditions. In this work, we model the spreading of COVID-19 pandemic using the SEIR in Gaza Strip to identify the better fitting model for forecasting future spread. The data required for estimation was collected between March 1st, 2021 and December 31st, 2021. The simulation results using SEIR model showed a significant model fitting, as there is no considerable difference from the real data compared to the respective model values. We also study the severity of the pandemic by identifying two important parameters;the basic reproduction rate (Ro), which determines the speed of the spread of COVID-19;and the infection fatality ratio (IFR) which estimates the proportion of deaths among all infected individuals. We obtained a value of Ro = 0. 89. IFR value is ranged between 0.079% and 0.085%, which is less than the global average of about 0.15%. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper introduces a novel approach for extending the applicability of pre-trained models to accommodate longer texts. Addressing the inherent limitation of quadratic performance in attention models within transformers, we propose the concept of fused transformers. By integrating new adaptor techniques, we enhance the encoding of lengthy text segments by breaking them into shorter spans. Subsequently, these segments are fused to increase the model's effectiveness in processing extended texts. This fusion mechanism serves to fortify the model's capacity for fine-tuning. Furthermore, we implement a length-based curriculum for expedited training Our experiments yielded 16 Rouge-2 points, representing a doubling of the score achieved by the vanilla fine-tuning method on the newly introduced "Mukhtasar" dataset for summarization. This highlights the effectiveness of managing complex relations among text segments and confirms that our method can outperform conventional training approaches. © 2024 Elsevier B.V..
