The convergence of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is significantly transforming the landscape of future networking. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a technological paradigm that encompasses embedded systems, wireless sensors, and automation, facilitating the integration of various applications ranging from smart homes to wearable devices. In addition, the advent of artificial intelligence (AI) amplifies this influence by providing data-driven analytics, optimising processes, and presenting novel opportunities for growth. Nevertheless, the widespread adoption of devices within Internet of Things (IoT) networks gives rise to apprehensions regarding increased energy consumption. In order to ensure the longevity of network operations, it is imperative to employ energy-efficient protocols for sensor nodes that possess limited power resources. One example of a protocol that demonstrates this concept is the Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) protocol. This protocol effectively divides networks into clusters and dynamically adjusts the cluster heads to optimise the transmission of data to the base stations. Our study enhances the LEACH protocol by incorporating digital twin simulation, thereby enhancing the efficiency of IoT systems. Virtual network models and AI analytics are employed to assess energy consumption and performance. Cache nodes play a crucial role within this framework as they collect data from cluster heads in order to transmit it to the base station. By leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and simulation techniques, we are able to improve the energy efficiency and reliability of the Internet of Things (IoT) systems. The findings indicate a significant reduction of 83% in non-functioning nodes and a notable increase of 1.66 times in energy levels of nodes compared to conventional approaches. Metaheuristic optimization algorithms present an effective method for solving several optimization problems from various types of applications and *** metaheuristics and evolutionary optimization algorithms have been emerged recently in the literature and gained widespread attention,such as particle swarm optimization(PSO),whale optimization algorithm(WOA),grey wolf optimization algorithm(GWO),genetic algorithm(GA),and gravitational search algorithm(GSA).According to the literature,no one metaheuristic optimization algorithm can handle all present optimization *** novel optimization methodologies are still *** Al-Biruni earth radius(BER)search optimization algorithm is proposed in this *** proposed algorithm was motivated by the behavior of swarm members in achieving their global *** search space around local solutions to be explored is determined by Al-Biruni earth radius calculation method.A comparative analysis with existing state-of-the-art optimization algorithms corroborated the findings of BER’s validation and testing against seven mathematical optimization *** results show that BER can both explore and avoid local *** has also been tested on an engineering design optimization *** results reveal that,in terms of performance and capability,BER outperforms the performance of state-of-the-art metaheuristic optimization algorithms.

In Mobile sensor Networks, Each and every wireless node dynamically changes its location due to its mobility nature. The routing information is maintained by the master node to deliver a data packet from source to destination. The attackers easily hack this wireless network. The performance of the complete networks is dropped by packets transmission attacks. Attacker node drops the packet. An enhanced protection technique in response to packets transmission misbehaviour attacks is provided to increase the energy efficiency of mobile nodes. This paper proposed the Cryptographic formed Malicious Node Detection and Secure Routing framework (CMNDSR). This model incorporates three various strategies specially algorithm for control of access, to protects initial illegal node in the network. The suspected identification and prevention techniques based on hop count value. Secure routing method with a private key generated at random like one time password (OTP). The proposed methods are power efficient, by operating a minimum number of nodes in challenging environment. The misbehaviour nodes are promptly identified and isolated using this proposed approach. The Cryptographic based Secure routing algorithm is applied to provide secure transmission in wireless networking environment. The outcomes of the simulation display how effectively the recommended approach can identify malicious nodes in a MANET. In comparison with previous methods, the energy consumption is 10% lower and the suspicious node detection rate is increased by 95%. © 2024 IEEE.

This study presents a dipper-throated-based ant colony optimization (DTACO) with the Seasonal Auto-Regressive Integrated Moving Average with eXogenous factor (SARIMAX) model (DTACO+SARIMAX) to forecast monkeypox cases. The work optimizes the SARIMAX model using grid search cross-validation and fine-tunes its hyperparameters using DTACO to improve prediction accuracy. The suggested model's consistency and accuracy are considerable compared to previous studies. Comparisons with state-of-the-art models validate the proposed model's predictions. DTACO+SARIMAX can be used to control disease and monitor monkeypox. Healthcare organizations and governments can better manage and track the pandemic's course by offering accurate predictions, reducing public panic, and enabling effective pandemic planning. The Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Wilcoxon signed-rank tests are conducted on the proposed DTACO-SARIMAX model and compared models. © 2023 IEEE.

The aim of this work was to make a protective system of the beehive, with automatic measurement of the mass of the beehive, construction of the alarm system and detection of the movement in the vicinity of the apiary. The steps of making and protecting a smart beehive are shown. The paper describes the components of the system and lists their technical characteristics. The Arduino Uno board as hardware and Arduino IDE (Integrated Development Environment) as software are exploited in order to develop the system described here and to monitor selected parameters of the beehive. The sensors are chosen to measure the mass of the beehive, to detect the opening or tilting of the hive lid, to make sound alarm in case the hive is being tampered with, to make sound alarm in case intruder(s) are detected in the hive vicinity. Implementation and mounting of electrical components in the housing of the hive and the protective system are shown. It is explained how the alarm system works for protection of the beehive. The scale that reads the mass of the hive is used to assess the yield of honey as well as to detect if the beehive is lifted to be taken. Wheat is the most important cereal crop,and its low production incurs import pressure on the *** fulfills a significant portion of the daily energy requirements of the human *** wheat disease is one of the major factors that result in low production and negatively affects the national ***,timely detection of wheat diseases is necessary for improving *** CNN-based architectures showed tremendous achievement in the image-based classification and prediction of crop ***,these models are computationally expensive and need a large amount of training *** this research,a light weighted modified CNN architecture is proposed that uses eight layers particularly,three convolutional layers,three SoftMax layers,and two flattened layers,to detect wheat diseases *** high-resolution images were collected from the fields in Azad Kashmir(Pakistan)and manually annotated by three human *** convolutional layers use 16,32,and 64 *** filter uses a 3×3 kernel *** strides for all convolutional layers are set to *** this research,three different variants of datasets are *** variants S1-70%:15%:15%,S2-75%:15%:10%,and S3-80%:10%:10%(train:validation:test)are used to evaluate the performance of the proposed *** extensive experiments revealed that the S3 performed better than S1 and S2 datasets with 93%*** experiment also concludes that a more extensive training set with high-resolution images can detect wheat diseases more accurately.

The explosive growth of pervasive and diverse digital products demands the importance of addressing emotional design within the sphere of product development. As a result, there has been a significant focus from both industry and academia on studying consumer perspectives related to a wide range of pervasive and digital products, adopting a variety of methods, tools, and resources to delve into user emotional experiences. However, a comprehensive study focusing on users' emotions, incorporating a precisely defined semantic or lexicon tailored for this type of user interface (UI) product design remains elusive. Therefore, this study aims to synthesize and validate a comprehensive array of emotional keywords applicable for pervasive and digital products through an extensive literature search and a rigorous validation procedure involving language experts. The result is a meticulously refined set of 175 keywords that will serve as a valuable point of reference for all endeavors associated with evaluating and configuring the emotional structure of pervasive and digital product UI experiences. The study's findings have the potential to provide valuable guidance to industry practitioners and academic researchers, contributing to the improvement of UI design landscape and the development of new systems by enhancing their insight into users' emotional experiences through the utilization of pertinent emotional keywords in a wide range of digital and pervasive UI product designs. © 2023 IEEE.

Surface sampling is a process of collecting visual and tactile information from real world surfaces to serve as references for artistic creations. It allows artists to study and analyze the intricate details of surfaces, such as the roughness of tree bark, the smoothness of a pebble, or the subtle variations in fabric patterns. By examining surfaces up close, artists gain insights into the nuances that make each surface visually and texturally distinct. The solution we've developed operates seamlessly on both desktop and mobile devices, utilizing the functionalities of widely used web browsers. It eliminates the need for any software installations. One of the most critical features of the Internet of Things (IoT) is that it allows a massive number of devices to communicate with each other at the same time, for example (cars, smoke alarms, watches, glasses, web cameras, etc.). Given that they can connect to the Internet, the huge demand to convert systems into smart systems that can be controlled remotely increases the chances of cyber-attacks that threaten security and availability becoming more frequent, severe, and in a different form. Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks have become the most common threats in IoT. These attacks make IoT systems unreliable because complex DDoS attacks cannot be detected by traditional security countermeasures such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems (IDS). In this research, we proposed a model dedicated to work on prediction and detection of DDoS attacks on networks IoT, where we run this model on a NF-BoT-IoT-v2 dataset, which contains 37,763,497 records divided into five categories (Benign, Reconnaissance, DDoS, DoS, and Theft), and then we process our dataset to be more business friendly so it only has two categories (100,000 records broken down into 23,906 benign attacks and 76,094 DDoS attacks). This study used WEKA and MATLAB tools to perform the classification efficiently and find the most important features through feature selection. We used a decision tree (J48) machine learning classifier, a Naive Bayes (NB) classifier, and a random forest (RF) classifier.
