Many association rule mining algorithms find associations and correlations from traditional transaction databases, in which the content of each transaction is definitely precise. However, due to instrument errors, imprecise of sensor monitoring systems, and so on, real-world data tend to be numerical data with inherent uncertainty. To deal with these situations, we propose a FP-growth-based mining algorithm PNFP-growth to efficiently find association rules from probabilistic numerical data, where each numerical item in the transactions is associated with an existential probability. In addition, to deal with big data situation, we also introduce a parallelized PNFP-Growth in the MapReduce framework, which scales well with the size of the dataset while minimizing data replication and communication cost.

Aberrant expression of the candidate tumor suppressor gene DAL-1 due to hypermethylation in gastric cancer

By allelotyping for loss of heterozygosity (LOH), we previously identified a deletion region that harbors the candidate tumor suppressor gene DAL-1 at 18p11.3 in sporadic gastric cancers (GCs). The expression and function of DAL-1 in GCs remained unclear. Here, we demonstrated that the absence of or notable decreases in the expression of DAL-1 mRNA and protein was highly correlated with CpG hypermethylation of the DAL-1 promoter in primary GC tissues and in GC cell lines. Furthermore, abnormal DAL-1 subcellular localization was also observed in GC cells. Exogenous DAL-1 effectively inhibited cancer cell proliferation, migration, invasion and epithelial to mesenchymal transition (EMT); exogenous DAL-1 also promoted apoptosis in GC AGS cells. When endogenous DAL-1 was knocked down in GC HGC-27 cells, the cells appeared highly aggressive. Taken together, these findings provide solid evidence that aberrant expression of DAL-1 by hypermethylation in the promoter region results in tumor suppressor gene behavior that plays important roles in the malignancy of GCs. Understanding the role of it played in the molecular pathogenesis of GC, DAL-1 might be a potential biomarker for molecular diagnosis and evaluation of the GC.

Motion analysis is quite important in assistance of dance training, as it provides further analysis with basic information of the motion behavior. Since the scale of the motion time series are usually quite large, data compression becomes quite important. Thus, before the classification or similarity comparison, we need to analyze the data of each possible motion carefully and extract the important parts of the data to create the lower dimensional transformation of the motion data. In this paper, we propose an algorithm based on important turning points set which extracts data points that play significant roles in forming the shape of the motion data.

RFS model is established by the application of RFM data mining theory to Web cache replacement policy, Using K-Means clustering algorithm to analyze RFS model we obtained the value of segmentation of the Web access, and ordered the worst access value web pages of the segmentation data by RFS. When the Web cache replacement occurs, the last web file order was eliminated, and all the Web pages in the buffer re-executed the strategic positioning of access value. Finally, a contrast between the new strategy (in this paper) and the old one (LRU, LFU, SIZE, GDSF) was conducted so as to prove the new one better.

The probabilistic method have been applied to rough set theory in several forms, such as variable precision rough set model, decision-theoretic rough set model and probabilistic rough set model. All of them are extension of the original rough set model developed by Pawlak, and these models are all based on equivalence relation. In this paper, the idea of tolerance relation instead of equivalence relation is introduced into the probabilistic rough set model, and the probabilistic tolerance rough set (PTRSM) is proposed. The properties of lower approximation operator and upper approximation operator of PTRSM are investigated, and furthermore, the relations with other rough set models are also studied.

With the constant development of information technology, information into education teaching quality evaluation has injected new *** evaluation for teaching quality of university is to add the power and energy of teaching. Evaluation for teaching quality of university based on AHP is proposed in the paper. Evaluation scale among evaluation indexes is given, and the weights of evaluation indexes are obtained. The absolute weights of the second-degree indexes are gained. The economics teacher is applied to evaluate the effectiveness of AHP technology. Aiming at the problem of triangular mesh hole repairing, a new geometric feature based hole filling algorithm was presented. The holes boundary were extracted and pretreated, and the advancing front mesh technique is used to cover the hole with newly created triangles;The Euclidencoordinate and lapacian of mesh points near the hole boundary were chosen as training sample for support vector machines and deduced lapacian of filling points;calculated coordinate of filling point throw possion equations based on deduced lapacian of filling points to file the hole precisely. Examples proved that this algorithm furbished geometric details to missing area of triangular mesh surface very good. © IFIP International Federation for Information Processing 2014.
