Probabilistic XML functional dependencies based on possible world model

With the increase of uncertain data in many new applications, such as sensor network, data integration, web extraction, etc., uncertainty both in relational databases and XML datasets has attracted more and more research interests in recent years. As functional dependencies (FDs) are critical and necessary to schema design and data rectification in relational databases and XML datasets, it is also significant to study FDs in uncertain XML datasets. This paper first proposed XML functional dependencies (XFDs) of deterministic XML dataset based on tree tuple models. Then two new kinds of functional dependencies based on possible worlds model for probabilistic XML dataset are introduced: probabilistic XML functional dependencies (pXFDs) and probabilistic approximate XML functional dependencies (pAXFDs). pXFDs extend the concept of XFDs of deterministic XML dataset by considering the probability of each possible world of probabilistic XML dataset, and pAXFDs extend the concept of probabilistic XML functional dependencies of probabilistic XML dataset by considering the degree of truth of tree tuples in each possible world of probabilistic XML dataset.

The central control system, as a very important device of computer-assisted instruction, has been applied generally in all different level of schools. However, due to all kinds of reasons, teachers and teaching administrators have long experienced the inconvenience on operating the projector and screen. The main device of common CAI system consists of computer, projector and screen which can actually solve such main problems such as the projector control and the lift control of screen. Since the projector is operated most often via the remote controller in the school, and under the circumstance that teachers familiarize the equipment operation by different levels, the operation and application can be incredibly inconvenient. The central control system aims to promote the control of CAI System up to a new level in the way that changes the operating methods of operators and simplifies the operating process. For the reasons and situations listed above, a high-efficient, simplified and low-cost management and application of teaching equipment is needed, and as a result of it, we develop and design the "Central Control System for Multimedia Instruction Window". © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Because of the popularity of computers and large-scale development of the Internet, network security has been increasing as the theme. Reasonable safeguards against violations of resources;regular Internet user behavior and so on has been the public's expectations of future Internet. Aiming at the problem of triangular mesh hole repairing,a new geometric feature based hole filling algorithm was *** holes boundary were extracted and pretreated,and the advancing front mesh technique is used to cover the hole with newly created triangles;The Euclidencoordinate and lapacian of mesh points near the hole boundary were chosen as training sample for support vector machines and deduced lapacian of filling points calculated coordinate of filling point throw possion equations based on deduced lapacian of filling points to file the hole *** proved that this algorithm furbished geometric details to missing area of triangular mesh surface very good.

XML datasets may contain slight variations of data values, especially for numerical values caused by data measurement, data precision, heterogeneous data sources, etc. But human beings may want functional dependencies (FD) can be satisfied in these data items as they only contain very slight variations for the same data item. Traditional definitions of FD in relational databases and XML can not deal with such situation as they are too "precise" or "strict". This paper proposes a new concept of XML FD based on constraint-tree model to deal with such difficult situation. The applications of this new FD are also discussed in the environments of removing data redundancies and integrating different data sources. © 2013 Binary Information Press.

A coding-based protection scheme against eavesdropping in network

The Internet becomes more and more complex with the rapid development of network. There exists various adversaries and events which threat to the network security and reliability. Eavesdropping is a common threat to network security. In this paper, we present a novel protection scheme against eavesdropping with coding because that the anti-eavesdropping capability of current schemes is low. The proposed scheme introduces a coefficient of eavesdropping difficulty (CED) and average recovery ratio (ARR) to estimate the eavesdropping difficulty of different encoding algorithms. We use security transmission rate to estimate the anti-eavesdropping capability of different schemes. Then, we propose an encoding algorithm to realize high CED and ARR. The proposed algorithm regards N original data as a coding group, and outputs N coded data. Every coded data is the XOR operation result of two or many original data. The analysis results show that the proposed encoding algorithm can achieve high CED and ARR, and the anti-eavesdropping capability of proposed scheme is promoted by K=(N-k) (1 ≤ k ≤ N-2 is eavesdropping capability) or N-2 (k = N-1) multiples compare with current schemes. The Development of the computer has been from a single machine to the server, and then server clustering technology, and the emerging cloud network, which invariably show the network's role in the computer. Meanwhile, more and more high-end hardware trash or the users may be unbearable of high cost of servers, so the use of existing resources and integration of resources has become increasingly important. This paper will detail a virtual network file system, which based on Upnp (Universal Plug and Play) and FUSE (File system in Usese Space) in Linux operating system. In this study, users can share a computer terminal to collect and use that particular computer terminal on the network to all the resources users are interested in, provided that the shared computer terminals must be installed on a specific Upnp device. In this study, we have successfully implemented single-device-side and single-device-side multithread communication under the Linux or windows operating system. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Over the past one decade, due to its simplicity and flexibility, Extensible Markup Language (XML) is rapidly gaining in popularity as a universal data format for data exchange and integration on the web. In this paper, we present a novel framework to evaluate a variety of XPath queries in a very user-friendly manner. We developed a prototype system named VXPath, which is a visual XPath query evaluator that allows the user to evaluate an XPath query by clicking the nodes in an expanding tree instead of typing the whole XPath query by hand. Our system supports various XPath axes, including child, descendant, self, parent, ancestor, following-sibling, precedingsibling, predicate and so on. In order to handle XML documents in very large size, instead of loading the whole XML document into memory, we extracted a concise data synopsis termed structural summary from the original XML document to avoid the loading overhead for large XML document. We evaluated our system over the data from XMark and DBLP and our system can handle large XML documents up to gigabytes. © 2013 IEEE.
