OTP-Based Software-Defined Cloud Architecture for Secure Dynamic Routing

In the current era,anyone can freely access the Internet thanks to the development of information and communication *** cloud is attracting attention due to its ability to meet continuous user demands for ***,Cloud is effective for systems with large data flow such as the Internet of Things(IoT)systems and Smart ***,the use of traditional networking technology in the cloud causes network traffic overload and network security ***,the cloud requires efficient networking technology to solve the existing *** this paper,we propose one-time password-based software-defined cloud architecture for secure dynamic routing to mitigating the above-mention *** proposed cloud architecture provides a secure data path through dynamic routing using One-Time Internet Protocol(OTIP)algorithm between each *** the network side,we use software-defined technology to provide efficient network management and data *** introduce a software-defined cloud architecture that applies OTIP algorithms for secure dynamic *** conduct a comparative analysis between general IP communication and proposed OTIP communication *** evaluates the performance of OTIP ***,we examine the proposed software-defined cloud architecture,including how to apply OTIP in secure dynamic routing according to the results of the comparative analysis.

This paper presents a novel approach for vehicle map mapping and estimating parking occupancy in parking lots using a single camera without parking lines. The system is capable of detecting around 10 vehicles even with just one camera, and is able to track vehicles with the same ID as they enter and pass through the parking lot. Furthermore, it proposes a method to map the locations of vehicles on real-world maps, allowing for accurate estimation of parking occupancy. The system achieved high accuracy in vehicle detection and tracking, with a 98.4% recall rate and 100% tracking accuracy. The accuracy of parking occupancy estimation was calculated using root mean square error, with an average error of 0.24m and a maximum error of 0.36m. The results demonstrate the feasibility of detecting and tracking vehicles, as well as estimating parking occupancy, in parking lots without parking lines using only one camera. Further testing on multiple sites, including nighttime and adverse weather conditions, is needed to increase the reliability of the system. © 2023 IEEE.

In recent years,the application of a smart city in the healthcare sector via loT systems has continued to grow exponentially and various advanced network intrusions have emerged since these loT devices are being *** studies focused on security threat detection and blocking technologies that rely on testbed data obtained from a single medical IoT device or simulation using a well-known dataset,such as the NSL-KDD ***,such approaches do not reect the features that exist in real medical scenarios,leading to failure in potential threat *** address this problem,we proposed a novel intrusion classication architecture known as a Multi-class Classication based Intrusion Detection Model(M-IDM),which typically relies on data collected by real devices and the use of convolutional neural networks(i.e.,it exhibits better performance compared with conventional machine learning algorithms,such as naïve Bayes,support vector machine(SVM)).Unlike existing studies,the proposed architecture employs the actual healthcare IoT environment of National Cancer Center in South Korea and actual network data from real medical devices,such as a patient’s monitors(i.e.,electrocardiogram and thermometers).The proposed architecture classies the data into multiple classes:Critical,informal,major,and minor,for intrusion ***,we experimentally evaluated and compared its performance with those of other conventional machine learning algorithms,including naïve Bayes,SVM,and logistic regression,using neural networks.

Hosting data in the cloud minimizes maintenance requirements, allowing users to easily access their data on cloud servers. However, cloud servers have full control over outsourced data, which raises security concerns about data integrity. The cloud, for example, might have the financial incentive to discard rarely accessed data, freeing up valuable storage space to, say, host other data-centric applications. Therefore, users need to confirm periodically that their data is intact but this has become increasingly onerous due to the ever-growing volume of data being outsourced. © 2021 IEEE.

In cloud computing environment, identifying and making an ontology model to use SaaS application is very important role in order to find the software applications and use their services efficiently. However, recently, the research about ontology model for SaaS lacked. In this research, we proposed an ontology model for SaaS applications in cloud computing environment. In this model, in order to considered their relation between the SaaS applications, we made Topic Map model on the ontology. The Topic was SaaS applications, systems, and servers. In the Topic Model, we defined the Topic relation and matching function with the Topics. Finally, we made Topic Map based ontology model by 4 layers, Topic, Instance, Association and Occurrence.

Almost cloud service providers are having their own architectures for providing a variety of cloud services to their customers, cloud service clients. These various architectures and services increase the complexity of security management policies, frameworks, and systems, because they would require different aspects of security solutions for their own architectures and services. Consequently, such compatibility issues make us difficult to design a common security framework, security management system, or security evaluation system. Recognizing the need to solve such issues, we analyze common security elements to be required for cloud computing virtualization, and identify requirements for information protection in this paper. We also identify possible threats that may occur depending on different functions and roles over the cloud virtualization environments, and define security elements and requirements to deal with those issues. We show a set of common directions or approaches to prevent any possible treats to cloud computing, and provide more efficient and systematic method of managing and operating cloud computing system. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.
