With the rapid development of Internet technology, crowdsourcing, as a flexible, effective and low-cost problem-solving method, has begun to receive more and more attention. The use of crowdsourcing to evaluate the quality of linked data has also become a research hotspot. This paper proposes the concept of Domain Specialization Test (DST), which uses domain professional testing tasks DSTs to evaluate the professionalism of workers, and combines the idea of Mini-batch Gradient Descent (MBGD) to improve the EM algorithm, and the MBEM algorithm is proposed to achieve efficient and accurate evaluation of task results. The experimental results show that the proposed method can screen out the appropriate workers for the linked data crowdsourcing task and improve the accuracy and iteration efficiency of the results.

With the extensive application of the knowledge base (KB), how to complete it is a hot topic on Semantic Web. However, many problems go with the big data, and the event matching is one of these problems, which is finding out the entities referring to the same things in the real world and also the key point in the extending process. To enrich the emergency knowledge base (E-SKB) we constructed before, we need to filter out the news from several web pages and find the same news to avoid data redundancy. In this paper, we proposed a hierarchy blocking method to reduce the times of comparisons and narrow down the scope by extracting the news properties as the blocking keys. The method transforms the event matching problem into a clustering problem. Experimental results show that the proposed method is superior to the existing text clustering algorithm with high precision and less comparison times.

由于RDF(Resource Description Framework)具有表达灵活、简洁等优点,已被接受为表达元数据及万维网上数据互联的规范。近年来,其数据量以飞快的速度增长,相应地,要求存储RDF数据的系统应具有高扩展性。大规模RDF数据库系统TripleBit旨在为大规模RDF数据提供一个高效的存储和查询方案。为尽可能降低存储空间消耗,采用了增量压缩和变长整数编码方法。并采用了数据分块的存储方法,既使得存储管理方便又使得存储结构紧凑,加速了数据读取。系统提供了基于启发式规则的动态查询计划生成方法。所产生的查询计划在执行过程中根据中间结果会相应作调整,以保持最优的执行顺序。对于多变量的查询,使用二步执行策略以减少查询过程中产生的中间结果。与当前著名系统RDF-3X相比,TripleBit具有较好的性能。

—Morphological reconstruction (MR) is often employed by seeded image segmentation algorithms such as watershed transform and power watershed as it is able to filter seeds (regional minima) to reduce over-segmentation. However, MR might mistakenly filter meaningful seeds that are required for generating accurate segmentation and it is also sensitive to the scale because a single-scale structuring element is employed. In this paper, a novel adaptive morphological reconstruction (AMR) operation is proposed that has three advantages. Firstly, AMR can adaptively filter useless seeds while preserving meaningful ones. Secondly, AMR is insensitive to the scale of structuring elements because multiscale structuring elements are employed. Finally, AMR has two attractive properties: monotonic increasingness and convergence that help seeded segmentation algorithms to achieve a hierarchical segmentation. Experiments clearly demonstrate that AMR is useful for improving algorithms of seeded image segmentation and seed-based spectral segmentation. Compared to several state-of-the-art algorithms, the proposed algorithms provide better segmentation results requiring less computing time. Source code is available at https://***/SUST-reynole/AMR. Tracking the trajectory of hydrogen intermediates during hydrogen electro-catalysis is beneficial for designing synergetic multi-component catalysts with division of chemical labor. Herein, we demonstrate a novel dynamic lattice hydrogen (LH) migration mechanism that leads to two orders of magnitude increase in the alkaline hydrogen oxidation reaction (HOR) activity on Pd@Pt over pure Pd, even ≈31.8 times mass activity enhancement than commercial Pt. Specifically, the polarization-driven electrochemical hydrogenation process from Pd@Pt to PdH x @Pt by incorporating LH allows more surface vacancy Pt sites to increase the surface H coverage. The inverse dehydrogenation process makes PdH x as an H reservoir, providing LH migrates to the surface of Pt and participates in the HOR. Meanwhile, the formation of PdH x induces electronic effect, lowering the energy barrier of rate-determining Volmer step, thus resulting in the HOR kinetics on Pd@Pt being proportional to the LH concentration in the in situ formed PdH x @Pt. Moreover, this dynamic catalysis mechanism would open up the catalysts scope for hydrogen electro-catalysis.

Since 2020, synchrotron radiation facilities in several Asia-Pacific countries have been collaborating in a major project called “SYNAPSE” (Synchrotrons for Neuroscience: an Asia-Pacific Scientific Enterprise). They use x-ray imaging to attack in a coordinated fashion one of the major issues in modern science: the structure of animal and human brains, including neurons and connections. The objective is to develop Google-like maps also including detailed structural and functional information for selected regions of interest. The sheer mass of data needed for the objective poses huge problems for the acquisition, processing, storage and use of images. In order to complete the task within a reasonable time, the key element of the SYNAPSE strategy is the parallel and coordinated work of several facilities on the same specimens. This article reviews different aspects of the enterprise, including the foundations of synchrotron radiation, coherence and of its role in advanced imaging, electron accelerators, x-ray optics and detectors. This will provide the foundation for an extensive presentation of the different components of SYNAPSE, with an overview of results already obtained within the consortium. © 2022

Low-visibility events (LVEs) are the damaging weathers that cause harm even disasters to human, closely related to anthropogenic pollution, and have negative impacts on traffic, air quality, human health, environment and etc. The 2-months wintertime continuous measurements conducted in Chongming Island of Shanghai were employed to examine LVEs on hour time scale and characterize their evolution and key drivers, particularly of fog-haze transformation. LVEs account for 38% of hours during the entire campaign, of which mist 14%, haze 6% and fog 5%, surprisingly fog-haze coexistence as high as about 13%. LVEs generally interdepend and transform each other, and their formation and evolution are the results of the synergy impacts of meteorological conditions and particulate matter. Fog and mist mostly occur from midnight to early morning, whereas haze mostly occurs in the daytime. Fog turning into haze often occurs after sunrise, while haze turning into fog often occurs after sunset. Temperature difference is the most critical meteorological driving factor of LVEs evolution. The radiative cooling on surface is more likely to improve ambient saturation than humidifying in the short term to promote fog and mist formation. During fog and mist events, under superior humidity conditions, particles exhibit relatively lower hygroscopicity and intense internal mixing due to fog droplet removal and aerosol heterogeneous and aqueous reactions. High CCN concentration accelerates the increase of fog droplet number and liquid water content. Overall, the conditions of high humidity and particle loadings are beneficial to conduce LVEs, while the conditions of sufficient water vapor at low particle level and sufficient particles at low humidity level can also trigger LVEs.
