ESCP is short for Enterprise Social collaboration Platform. The ESCP system, which is also known as enterprise social networking, is a platform which translates the basic elements of the social networking and twitter into tools of productivity. For system security, authentication and authorization management should be on its priorities. It verifies user's identity effectively and allows authorized users to access protected resources stored in the service provider, and thus plays a role in access control. The basic authentication and the digest authentication are described, specifically this paper emphasizes design and implementation of the Form-based Authentication and the improved OAuth Authentication. Aiming at the problem of the granularity of authorization for the OAuth authentication method, improvement measures are proposed and implemented. © 2013 IEEE.

Recently, an optimization method has been proposed to increase the ability of complex networks to resist intentional attacks on hub nodes. The finally optimized networks exhibit a novel type of "onion-like" structure. At the same time, structural controllability of complex networks also has been a hot research topic in recent years. Thus, structural controllability of "onion-like" networks deserves sufficient discussion. In this study, we explored the relationship between the attack robustness and structural controllability of scale-free networks before and after optimization. After implementing large quantity of numerical simulations, it has been found that the optimized scale-free networks have both increased robustness and enhanced structural controllability. Current research results can shed some light on the deep understanding of structural complexity and dynamical properties of real-world networked systems. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2019.

This paper proposes a method of the fault detection and diagnosis for the railway turnout based on the current curve of switch machine. Exact curve matching fault detection method and SVM-based fault diagnosis method are adopted in the paper. Based on envelope and morpheme match algorithm, exact curve matching method is used to match the detected current curve with the reference curve so as to predict whether the curve would have fault or not. Moreover, the SVM-based fault diagnosis method is used to make sure that the fault conditions could be diagnosed intelligently. Finally, the experimental results show that the proposed method can accurately identify the turnout fault status in the conversion process, and the accuracy rate in the diagnosis of the fault location is above 98%, which verify the effectiveness of the method in the fault detection and diagnosis. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Gene selection, a key procedure of the discriminant analysis of microarray data, is to select the most informative genes from the whole gene set. Rough set theory is a mathematical tool for further reducing redundancy. One limitation of rough set theory is the lack of effective methods for processing real-valued data. However, most of gene expression data sets are continuous. Discretization methods can result in information loss. This paper investigates an approach combining feature ranking together with feature selection based on tolerance rough set theory. Compared with gene selection algorithm based on rough set theory, the proposed method is more effective for selecting high discriminative genes in cancer classification task. © 2009 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.

Outlier detection refers to the identification of anomalous samples that deviate significantly from the distribution of normal data and has been extensively studied and used in a variety of practical tasks. However, most unsupervised outlier detection methods are carefully designed to detect specified outliers, while real-world data may be entangled with different types of outliers. In this study, we propose a fuzzy rough sets-based multi-scale outlier detection method to identify various types of outliers. Specifically, a novel fuzzy rough sets-based method that integrates relative fuzzy granule density is first introduced to improve the capability of detecting local outliers. Then, a multi-scale view generation method based on granular-ball computing is proposed to collaboratively identify group outliers at different levels of granularity. Moreover, reliable outliers and inliers determined by the three-way decision are used to train a weighted support vector machine to further improve the performance of outlier detection. The proposed method innovatively transforms unsupervised outlier detection into a semi-supervised classification problem and for the first time explores the fuzzy rough sets-based outlier detection from the perspective of multi-scale granular balls, allowing for high adaptability to different types of outliers. Extensive experiments carried out on both artificial and UCI datasets demonstrate that the proposed outlier detection method significantly outperforms the state-of-the-art methods, improving the results by at least 8.48% in terms of the Area Under the ROC Curve (AUROC) index. Virtual resource monitoring in cloud computing

Cloud computing is a new computing model. The resource monitoring tools are immature compared to traditional distributed computing and grid computing. In order to better monitor the virtual resource in cloud computing, a periodically and event-driven push （PEP） monitoring model is proposed. Taking advantage of the push and event-driven mechanism, the model can provide comparatively adequate information about usage and status of the resources. It can simplify the communication between Master and Work Nodes without missing the important issues happened during the push interval. Besides, we develop ＂mon＂ to make up for the deficiency of Libvirt in monitoring of virtual CPU and memory.

Structure alignment could help to find shape similarities between proteins and guide structure classification and fold recognition. Common substructure detection and extraction are especially important, for which could guide the biologist to discover binding site or active site. We represent each segment of alpha-carbon backbone by using dihedral angles and curve moment invariants. Then, local and global structure alignment could be performed by iterative closest point algorithm. Maximum common substructures between a pair of proteins or within a protein could be found. Active sites also could be detected by the proposed algorithm.

Task scheduling is one of the core steps to effectively exploit the capabilities of heterogeneous re-sources in the *** paper presents a new hybrid differential evolution(HDE)algorithm for findingan optimal or near-optimal schedule within reasonable *** encoding scheme and the adaptation ofclassical differential evolution algorithm for dealing with discrete variables are discussed.A simple but ef-fective local search is incorporated into differential evolution to stress *** performance of theproposed HDE algorithm is showed by being compared with a genetic algorithm(GA)on a known staticbenchmark for the *** results indicate that the proposed algorithm has better perfor-mance than GA in terms of both solution quality and computational time,and thus it can be used to de-sign efficient dynamic schedulers in batch mode for real grid systems.

Objective: Diabetes and hypertension pose significant health risks, especially when poorly managed. Retinal evaluation though fundus photography can provide non-invasive assessment of these diseases, yet prior studies focused on disease presence, overlooking control statuses. This study evaluated vision transformer (ViT)-based models for assessing the presence and control statuses of diabetes and hypertension from retinal images. Methods: ViT-based models with ResNet-50 for patch projection were trained on images from the UK Biobank (n = 113,713) and Singapore Epidemiology of Eye Diseases study (n = 17,783), and externally validated on the Singapore Prospective Study Programme (n = 7,793) and the Beijing Eye Study (n = 6064). Model performance was evaluated using the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUROC) for multiple tasks: detecting disease, identifying poorly controlled and well-controlled cases, distinguishing between poorly and well-controlled cases, and detecting pre-diabetes or pre-hypertension. Results: The models demonstrated strong performance in detecting disease presence, with AUROC values of 0.820 for diabetes and 0.781 for hypertension in internal testing. External validation showed AUROCs ranging from 0.635 to 0.755 for diabetes, and 0.727 to 0.832 for hypertension. For identifying poorly controlled cases, the performance remained high with AUROCs of 0.871 (internal) and 0.655–0.851 (external) for diabetes, and 0.853 (internal) and 0.792–0.915 (external) for hypertension. Detection of well-controlled cases also yielded promising results for diabetes (0.802 [internal];0.675–0.838 [external]), and hypertension (0.740 [internal] and 0.675–0.807 [external]). In distinguishing between poorly and well-controlled disease, AUROCs were more modest with 0.630 (internal) and 0.512–0.547 (external) for diabetes, and 0.651 (internal) and 0.639–0.683 (external) for hypertension. For pre-disease detection, the models achieved AUROCs of 0.746

The limited write endurance of phase change random access memory (PRAM) is one of the major obstacles for PRAM-based main memory. Wear leveling techniques were proposed to extend its lifetime by balancing writes traffic. Another important concern that need to be considered is endurance variation in PRAM chips. When different PRAM cells have distinct endurance, balanced writes will result in lifetime degradation due to the weakest cells. Instead of balancing writes traffic, in this paper we propose wear rate leveling (WRL), a variant of wear leveling, to balance wear rates (i.e., writes traffic/edudrance) of cells across the PRAM chip. After investigating writing behavior of applications and endurance variation, we propose an architecture-level WRL mechanism. Moreover, there is an important tradeoff between endurance improvement and swapping data volume. To co-optimize endurance and swapping, a novel algorithm, Max Hyper-weight Rematching, is proposed to maximize PRAM lifetime and minimize performance degradation. Experimental results show 19x endurance improvement to prior Wear Leveling © 2011 ACM.
