Mobile edge computing(MEC) is an innovative technology that deploys computing resources around the demand side to provide near-request and responsiveness-guaranteed computing and storage services. A major attention paid by related works in this direction is mobility, where mobile traces of both edge users and servers are analyzed and exploited for accommodating offloading and migration requests for computation resources in a highly dynamic MEC environment. Our research in this work suggests that information of user interests, in terms of points of interest (POI), can be exploited in conjunction with mobility as well and proposes a hybrid method for for interest-informed and mobility-aware service migration path selection(HIMS). It synthesizes a trajectory prediction model and user interests prediction one for selecting target servers and reliable service migration paths. Experimental results demonstrate that our approach outperforms traditional methods across multiple performance metrics, especially those with sole input of mobility.

Electronic medicine has received more and more attention because of its ability to provide more efficient and better medical services. However, the characteristics of electronic medical networks make them more vulnerable to security threats such as data integrity and user privacy leakage. Traditional digital signatures cannot meet the diversity and privacy requirements of medical data applications. Sanitizable signatures incorporate sanitization capabilities into signatures to allow designated sanitizers to modify variable parts of a message in a controlled manner without the cooperation of the original signer. This paper uses the key-exposure free chameleon hash function to convert the data sanitization operation into using trapdoor keys to find collisions in the key-exposure free chameleon hash function, and builds a privacy-preserving sanitizable signature scheme. Security analysis and performance evaluation demonstrate that our new scheme achieves public verifiability, which greatly reduces computing costs while effectively ensuring data security and user privacy, and is especially suitable for electronic medical data sharing scenarios. © 2023

It is a well-known truth that online image sharing can lead to privacy leakage. Although the privacy information may vary in forms, image contents only with private property will be concerned, while other contents that seems public but could reveal personal information are always ignored. In online image sharing, some images may contain labels or landmarks which could reveal the geographic positions where these photos were taken, in which the public content could disclose private location information. To handle such problem, we proposed a travel image location privacy protection system that aims at protecting travel images location. The key issue in this problem is which part of image content is related to the scene and to what extent. To determine such relevance, in our proposed system, several image process methods are utilized to find out potential objects and their belonging classes, and two proposed privacy strategies that respectively focus on quantity and relative position are further implemented to define initial privacy level of each classes. Finally, a privacy predict model is trained in online learning way so that it can be updated with future user feedbacks. We conducted experiment on travel image dataset that related to specific keyword, and the results have demonstrated the effectiveness of our proposed system. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The car CAN (Controller Area Network) bus message injection attacks seriously affects various functions of the safety of cars, life and property. However, low-speed injection attack is detection inconspicuous in a majority of existing researches. This paper proposes a self-contained low-speed injection attacks detection system including whole detection process and principle. This paper first analyzes the feasibility of low-speed injection attacks;then we propose to use LOF (Local Outlier Factor) to detect the injection attack, and compare with the previous detection algorithms. Experimental results show that our algorithm has obvious advantages in detection rate over the previous algorithms. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Latent heat storage (LHS) has great potential for applications, but the low thermal conductivity of phase change materials (PCM) becomes a major limiting factor in practical applications. Cascaded Latent Heat Storage (CLHS) has gradually become a research hotspot as a method to enhance heat transfer and realize the hierarchical utilization of heat. It is worth noting that in practical thermal energy utilization, such as solar energy and industrial waste heat, the heat supply is often fluctuating. Therefore, the heat storage device usually needs to operate under non-steady state operating conditions. There is a lack of research on the application of phase change thermal storage to unsteady state aspects. To address this need, three arrangements of LHS devices are established in this paper, and the performance of LHS devices under multiple operating conditions is comparatively analyzed. The results show that the heat storage and heat discharge of the CLHS device are enhanced under both steady state and non-steady state conditions. Among them, the enhancement of heat storage performance under steady state conditions is most obvious, with an increase of 86% in the average heat storage rate for the parallel arrangement and 33.3% for the series arrangement compared with that of the single PCM arrangement. In addition, the heat transfer mechanism and characteristics of the PCM melting and solidification process are investigated in this paper. This study is an important reference value for the optimal design of CLHS devices and dynamic operation regulation in Solar thermal storage systems. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Due to the light absorption and scattering induced by the water medium, underwater images usually suffer from some degradation problems, such as low contrast, color distortion, and blurring details, which aggravate the difficulty of downstream underwater understanding tasks. Therefore, how to obtain clear and visually pleasant images has become a common concern of people, and the task of underwater image enhancement (UIE) has also emerged as the times require. Among existing UIE methods, Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) based methods perform well in visual aesthetics, while the physical model-based methods have better scene adaptability. Inheriting the advantages of the above two types of models, we propose a physical model-guided GAN model for UIE in this paper, referred to as PUGAN. The entire network is under the GAN architecture. On the one hand, we design a Parameters Estimation subnetwork (Par-subnet) to learn the parameters for physical model inversion, and use the generated color enhancement image as auxiliary information for the Two-Stream Interaction Enhancement subnetwork (TSIE-subnet). Meanwhile, we design a Degradation Quantization (DQ) module in TSIE-subnet to quantize scene degradation, thereby achieving reinforcing enhancement of key regions. On the other hand, we design the Dual-Discriminators for the style-content adversarial constraint, promoting the authenticity and visual aesthetics of the results. Extensive experiments on three benchmark datasets demonstrate that our PUGAN outperforms state-of-the-art methods in both qualitative and quantitative metrics. Dead-Time Compensation and Single-Loop Control Strategy for Ground Power Unit

Instead of the auxiliary power system, the ground power unit supplies to airplanes during stopovers in airports, which is an important means of reducing carbon emissions of airport. However, under the restraint of switching frequency and high dynamic response speed, a single control loop is usually implemented in 400 Hz voltage-source inverter, the sampling and control of the inductor current in the LC filter are avoided, result in the design of the control system being more difficult, and the direction of the dead-time compensation can not be obtained due to the lack of the current polarity. In view of the above problem, this paper firstly analyzes the in-fluence on the output voltage of inverter due to the dead-time, including the errors of fundamental amplitude and phase, and the low-order harmonic distortion. Then, according to the state equation of the inductor current, a current observation model without zero drift is proposed to obtain the polarity of the inductor current. On this basis, feedforward compensation is carried out for the voltage error generated by the dead-time. Combined with the amplitude-frequency characteristic curve, the parameter optimization design method of the single closed-loop proportional-resonant controller is presented. Finally, a simulation model and an experimental platform are established to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the current observation model, dead-time compensation method and controller parameter optimization design method proposed in this paper. © 2023, The Authors. The detection of traffic element in remote sensing imagesplays an important role in the construction of traffic infrastructure, and can provide dynamic monitoring and quality evaluation for traffic construction projects. The convolutional neural network (CNN)-based method has achieved good performance in object detection in computer vision, which benefits from the popularity of large-scale datasets. However, the existing dataset can only be used for object detection, and the sample size and diversity need to be improved. These problems have brought challenges to the improvement and application of existing traffic element detection methods. This paper proposes a large-scale highresolution traffic element dataset based on multi-method detection analysis, and validates it based on the CNN-based object detection method. We screened more than 100 satellite images from high-resolution satellite images with a spatial resolution of 0.8 m. Manually labeled 5 categories and 100,000 traffic element samples. In the experiment, three CNN-based detection methods were used as the experimental baseline method. The experimental results proved effectiveness of the UJN-traffic traffic element dataset and provided a useful reference for traffic construction engineering and management. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Transpiration(Tc) is a critical component of the global water *** moisture(SM) and vapor pressure deficit(VPD) are key regulators of Tc,and exploring their contributions to changes in Tc can deepen our understanding of the mechanisms of water cycling in terrestrial ***,the driving roles of VPD and SM in Tc changes remain debated because of the coupling of SM and VPD through land-atmosphere interactions which restrict the quantification of the independent effects of SM and VPD on *** decoupling the correlations between SM and VPD using a novel binning approach,this study analyzed the dominant drivers of vegetation transpiration in subtropical China from 2003 to 2018 based on multi-source data,including meteorological reanalysis,remotely sensed soil moisture,transpiration,and land cover *** results show that Tc first increased and then remained stable with an increase in SM across the study area but changed slightly with increasing ***,the relative contribution of SM to the change in Tc was approximately five times that of *** sensitivities of Tc to SM and VPD differed among vegetation *** the sensitivity of Tc to SM was greater than that of VPD for all four vegetation types,the thresholds of Tc in response to SM were different,with the lowest threshold(approximately 35%) for the other forests and the highest threshold(approximately 55%) for short wood *** infer that this is associated with the differences in ecological *** verify the reliability of our conclusions,we used solar-induced chlorophyll fluorescence(SIF) data as a proxy for Tc based on the tight coupling between photosynthesis and *** results were obtained by repeating the *** results of this study,in which the impacts of SM and VPD on Tc were decoupled,are beneficial for further understanding the critical processes involved in water cycling in terrestrial ecosystems in response to climate change.

Deep learning-based forgery attack on document images

With the ongoing popularization of online services, the digital document images have been used in various applications. Meanwhile, there have emerged some deep learning-based text editing algorithms which alter the textual information of an image in an end-to-end fashion. In this work, we present a low-cost document forgery algorithm by the existing deep learning-based technologies to edit practical document images. To achieve this goal, the limitations of existing text editing algorithms towards complicated characters and complex background are addressed by a set of network design strategies. First, the unnecessary confusion in the supervision data is avoided by disentangling the textual and background information in the source images. Second, to capture the structure of some complicated components, the text skeleton is provided as auxiliary information and the continuity in texture is considered explicitly in the loss function. Third, the forgery traces induced by the text editing operation are mitigated by some post-processing operations which consider the distortions from the print-and-scan channel. Quantitative comparisons of the proposed method and the exiting approach have shown the advantages of our design by reducing the about 2/3 reconstruction error measured in MSE, improving reconstruction quality measured in PSNR and in SSIM by 4 dB and 0.21, respectively. Qualitative experiments have confirmed that the reconstruction results of the proposed method are visually better than the existing approach in both complicated characters and complex texture. More importantly, we have demonstrated the performance of the proposed document forgery algorithm under a practical scenario where an attacker is able to alter the textual information in an identity document using only one sample in the target domain.
