5G technology is constrained by its higher frequency band and smaller coverage area, which leads to the need for operators to use technologies such as small cell base stations to increase the density of base station deployment to ensure signal coverage quality, which leads to more enormous construction costs. Therefore, it is urgent to find a safe and reliable solution that can use the existing public network to realize small cell base stations with automatic access. Based on this demand, we summarize various existing small cell base station automatic access technology solutions and their advantages and disadvantages while combing the characteristics of blockchain technology and its application solutions in similar scenarios. And then, we propose a new blockchain-based base station automatic access solution and implements the system in a practical scenario. In our solution, we innovatively introduce blockchain as an intermediate manager for small base stations and core networks, which solves traditional solutions requiring customized equipment while ensuring safety and reliability. It reduces costs and improves efficiency, but some problems are brought by the “decentralization” of blockchain waiting to be solved.

DSC: Deep scan context descriptor for large-scale place recognition

LiDAR-based place recognition is an essential and challenging task both in loop closure detection and global relocalization. We propose Deep Scan Context (DSC), a general and discriminative global descriptor that captures the relationship among segments of a point cloud. Unlike previous methods that utilize either semantics or a sequence of adjacent point clouds for better place recognition, we only use raw point clouds to get competitive results. Concretely, we first segment the point cloud egocentrically to acquire centroids and eigenvalues of the segments. Then, we introduce a graph neural network to aggregate these features into an embedding representation. Extensive experiments conducted on the KITTI dataset show that DSC is robust to scene variants and outperforms existing methods. © 2021, CC BY.

Predictive and Contrastive: Dual-Auxiliary Learning for Recommendation

Self-supervised learning (SSL) recently has achieved outstanding success on recommendation. By setting up an auxiliary task (either predictive or contrastive), SSL can discover supervisory signals from the raw data without human annotation, which greatly mitigates the problem of sparse user-item interactions. However, most SSL-based recommendation models rely on general-purpose auxiliary tasks, e.g., maximizing correspondence between node representations learned from the original and perturbed interaction graphs, which are explicitly irrelevant to the recommendation task. Accordingly, the rich semantics reflected by social relationships and item categories, which lie in the recommendation data-based heterogeneous graphs, are not fully exploited. To explore recommendation-specific auxiliary tasks, we first quantitatively analyze the heterogeneous interaction data and find a strong positive correlation between the interactions and the number of user-item paths induced by meta-paths. Based on the finding, we design two auxiliary tasks that are tightly coupled with the target task (one is predictive and the other one is contrastive) towards connecting recommendation with the self-supervision signals hiding in the positive correlation. Finally, a model-agnostic DUal-Auxiliary Learning (DUAL) framework which unifies the SSL and recommendation tasks is developed. The extensive experiments conducted on three real-world datasets demonstrate that DUAL can significantly improve recommendation, reaching the state-of-the-art performance. Nowadays, the best-effort service can not guarantee the quality of service (QoS) for all kinds of services. QoS routing is an important method to guarantee QoS requirements. It involves path selection for flows based on the current network status and the performance criteria of the service requirements. However, it is difficult for proposed solutions to obtain all the available paths owing to not fully considering all the QoS parameters of paths. In this paper, we propose SWQoS, a novel, universal, and stepwise QoS guarantee scheme based on multiple QoS parameter evaluation for selecting the available paths including preferred paths, satisfied paths and reluctant paths in SDN. The experiments show that SWQoS can select all the available paths that meet the performance criteria of the service requirements and have better QoS parameter performance compared with other path selection methods. © 2021, ICST Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering.

The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) have brought unprecedented opportunities to meet massive behavioral data access and personalization requirements for Internet of Behavior (IoB). They facilitate the communication and computing resource allocation to guarantee low delay and energy consumption demands in healthcare. This article presents an improved offloading algorithm for Mobile Edge computing (MEC) based on Deep Q Network (DQN) and Simulated Annealing (SA) for IoB. Firstly, we analyze the network model and establish a task cost function based on processing delay and energy consumption. Secondly, we define a Distributed Optimization Problem (DOP) to maximize individual utilities and system utility, which is proved to be a potential countermeasure. Thirdly, we conduct Markov modeling for the current offloading strategy-making scheme and define the objectives and constraints of the optimization function. At the same time, the SA is introduced into the DQN Algorithm, which improves the capacity of the algorithm by focusing on the exploration in the early stage and following the experience value in the later stage. From the simulation results, we can see that compared with the traditional scheme, the proposed strategy can maximize the utilization of the system and reduce processing delay and energy consumption. © 2022 Association for computing Machinery.

With the Internet and mobile communications becoming an indispensable part of people's daily lives, online transactions have become one of the most common payment methods. However, transaction fraud incidents also occur frequently, causing a larger number of economic losses. Therefore, transaction fraud detection is significant. The methods of machine learning are often used to detect fraudulent transactions from a larger amount of transaction data. However, the class imbalance problem reduces the performance of these methods. There are mainly four factors causing this problem: imbalanced class distribution, sample size, class separability and within-class concept. The existing improvement strategies for class imbalance mainly focus on the first factor but omit other three ones. This paper considers the four factors to propose a comprehensive model called clustering tree. Constructing a clustering tree includes two steps: 1) we first select a clustering algorithm considering the class separability;and then 2) we use this clustering algorithm to construct a tree that can be used to determine if an incoming transaction is illegal. The root node of this tree contains all samples, and we consider both the imbalanced class distribution and the within-class concept when samples are hierarchically divided into sub-nodes during the constructing process. We compare the proposed method with five state-of-the-art ones on two real transaction datasets, and the experimental results show that our method works better. © 2019 IEEE.

Concept Drift is one of the most challenging issues in various applications such as fraud detection, spam filtering and sensor networks, causing the performance degradation of learning algorithms which are dedicated to processing static data such as Naive Bayes, due to their poor adaptability to changes. Several techniques and algorithms have been proposed to address the concept drift problem, e.g. the ensemble methods that have already achieved great success. However, most of the ensemble methods consider either accuracy or diversity of a trained model when adapting to new concepts, and thus they can hardly deal with different types of drifts. This paper proposes a novel ensemble method that considers both accuracy and diversity. We linearly combine accuracy and diversity with different coefficients, and propose an entropy-based policy to compute these coefficients. Experiments on 10 synthetic datasets and 4 public datasets demonstrate that our method outperforms the state-of-the-art ones on dealing with different concept drifts. Our method is also applied to the electronic transaction fraud detection and achieves an excellent performance.

EHKP-Res: An explainable dynamic security solution for medical healthcare

An increasing number of medical institutions and patients are adopting the practice of storing their data on medical cloud servers, which greatly facilitates the sharing of medical data. However, when many nodes are connected to the medical big data architecture, the overall system's security can be compromised. To address this, an explainable dynamic security protection scheme for medical healthcare, named EHKP-Res, has been proposed. This scheme aggregates data relevance features and integrates them with a deep residual network to predict the behavior of medical staff, addressing the issue of sudden changes in their behavioral credibility. To tackle the black-box problem, a model post-interpretation scheme using Bayesian networks to generate perturbed datasets has been proposed. It calculates sample weights and performs nonlinear fitting, deriving model interpretation through the eigenvalues of the instances. Experimental results show that the proposed Hidden KP-ABE method reduces time overhead by 14.95% compared to other access control methods and achieves a prediction accuracy of 98.34% for doctor trust metrics, effectively preventing malicious behavior by doctors.

The cache can improve the DSP processor's access speed to external memory and solve the “Storage Wall” problem. Designing an efficient and flexible cache module plays an vital role in improving the memory access efficiency and overall performance of the DSP. Based on the analysis of DSP storage level design requirements, combined with the actual pipeline structure of the DSP processor SWIFT independently developed by our laboratory, in this paper, we design and implement first- level instruction and data cache. For L1 D-Cache, the relevant conflict detection and processing module is designed to support four parallel Load/Store access requests. The size of the cache can be flexibly configured according to actual application requirements to achieve a balance between power consumption and latency. To write back the modified data left in the cache before the cache size is changed, the Cacheclean instruction is designed. Finally, module-level functional verification and logic synthesis are carried out. The results show that the cache function meets expectations, and the critical path after logic synthesis optimization meets the requirement of 1GHz frenuency.
