Object pose refinement is essential for robust object pose estimation. Previous work has made significant progress towards instance-level object pose refinement. Yet, category-level pose refinement is a more challenging problem due to large shape variations within a category and the discrepancies between the target object and the shape prior. To address these challenges, we introduce a novel architecture for category-level object pose refinement. Our approach integrates an HS-layer and learnable affine transformations, which aims to enhance the extraction and alignment of geometric information. Additionally, we introduce a cross-cloud transformation mechanism that efficiently merges diverse data sources. Finally, we push the limits of our model by incorporating the shape prior information for translation and size error prediction. We conducted extensive experiments to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed framework. Cloud-fog automation architecture has propelled the advancement of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), significantly enhancing production efficiency and intelligence through extensive data collection and connectivity. Simultaneously, industrial cyber-physical system leverages this data to achieve intelligent control and optimization of production processes. As industrial production becomes increasingly specialized and complex, independent operations within a single domain are no longer sufficient to meet demands, making cross-domain collaborative production inevitable. Consequently, ensuring the security of cross-domain communication and data sharing has become a critical issue for IIoT under the cloud-fog automation architecture. Existing solutions encounter substantial management and computational burdens in cross-domain communication and data sharing, and they are vulnerable to privacy leakage risks. To address these challenges and enhance industrial production efficiency, this paper uses consortium blockchain to co-design a cross-domain authentication and data sharing scheme. The scheme ensures secure and private cross-domain communications with minimal computational, communication, and storage overhead. And, the proposed time-specific plaintext checkable encryption protocol can secure data during cross-domain sharing. Security and performance analyses show that the proposed scheme effectively reduces computational and communication resource demands while maintaining communication and data security. © 1983-2012 IEEE.

Blockchain-enabled digital currency systems have typically operated in isolation, lacking necessary mechanisms for seamless interconnection. Consequently, transferring assets across distinct currency systems remains a complex challenge, with existing schemes often falling short in ensuring security, privacy, and practicality. This paper proposes P2C2T - a privacy-preserving cross-chain transfer scheme. It is the first scheme to address atomicity, unlinkability, indistinguishability, non-collateralization, and required functionalities across diverse currency systems. P2C2T is based on threshold anonymous atomic locks (TA 2 L), also proposed by us, serving as the cornerstone for guaranteeing atomic cross-chain transfer while obscuring the payment relationships between users. By combining TA 2 L with verifiable timed discrete logarithm schemes, P2C2T renders cross-chain transactions indistinguishable from regular intra-chain ones. Notably, P2C2T eliminates the collateralization of senders and imposes minimal requirements on underlying blockchains, specifically on the ability to verify signatures. We substantiate the security of TA 2 L based on a proposed cryptographic notion called threshold blind conditional signatures and demonstrate the security of P2C2T through necessary proofs. Additionally, we compare the performance of P2C2T with an existing scheme that has properties closest to P2C2T. The comparison reveals that P2C2T reduces overhead by at least 85.488% in terms of running time, communication cost, and storage cost when completing a cross-chain transfer. We further conduct cross-chain transfers and intra-chain payments using the Bitcoin testnet and Litecoin testnet to illustrate the privacy and practicality of P2C2T.

Although much progress has been made in new drug development, it is still a costly, complicated and less efficient process. Therefore, drug repositioning studies are highly desirable. So far, many methods based on known drug-target interactions (DTIs) have been designed to detect potential DTIs, but there are many challenges for improving the performance of prediction DTIs. This paper proposes a new method (CaGCN-DTI) for DTIs prediction, which uses a heterogeneous network that incorporates a wide variety of biological data (drug, target, disease, and side effect) to discover potential interactions between drugs and targets. First, the drug-protein similarity network is preprocessed by Spectral clustering, then the graph convolutional network (GCN) combined with attention mechanism and random walk with restart (RWR) is used to aggregate message transmission to the network. Finally, the embedding vectors are used to discover potential DTIs by matrix decomposition. Experiments are performed based on ten-fold cross-validation, and the results show that CaGCN-DTI outperforms other previous methods in terms of AUC and AUPR. © 2021 IEEE.

Meta-ZSDETR: Zero-shot DETR with Meta-learning

Zero-shot object detection aims to localize and recognize objects of unseen classes. Most of existing works face two problems: the low recall of RPN in unseen classes and the confusion of unseen classes with background. In this paper, we present the first method that combines DETR and meta-learning to perform zero-shot object detection, named Meta-ZSDETR, where model training is formalized as an individual episode based meta-learning task. Different from Faster R-CNN based methods that firstly generate class-agnostic proposals, and then classify them with visual-semantic alignment module, Meta-ZSDETR directly predict class-specific boxes with class-specific queries and further filter them with the predicted accuracy from classification head. The model is optimized with meta-contrastive learning, which contains a regression head to generate the coordinates of class-specific boxes, a classification head to predict the accuracy of generated boxes, and a contrastive head that utilizes the proposed contrastive-reconstruction loss to further separate different classes in visual space. We conduct extensive experiments on two benchmark datasets MS COCO and PASCAL VOC. Experimental results show that our method outperforms the existing ZSD methods by a large margin. Mobile crowdsensing (MCS) is a potential technology for large-scale data collection. This technology requires the platform to recruit users to complete tasks in specific areas. A vital issue in MCS is task assignment, and most existing task assignment efforts consider only a single user type, which is not reasonable in real scenarios. Task assignment becomes more complicated when the platform tries to assign tasks to heterogeneous users with a limited budget in the platform. In this paper, we consider a quality-oriented task assignment for heterogeneous users problem. Professional users have a high sensing quality with a high cost, and normal users have a low sensing quality with a low cost First, we model the sensing capabilities and the costs of different users and formulate the quality-oriented task assignment for heterogeneous users problem. Then, we design the integer linear programming form and prove that the problem is NP-hard. By verifying the submodularity of the objective function, we present a greedy algorithm. Considering the inefficiency of the algorithm, we design two genetic algorithms to improve the total sensing quality. Finally, we evaluate the proposed algorithms under different cost cases based on a real dataset The results show that our proposed algorithm performs well under different cost distribution scenarios.

Ridesharing benefits the economy and the environment. In multi-hop ridesharing, passengers are permitted to switch vehicles within a single trip, extending the flexibility of conventional ridesharing. Nonetheless, vehicle dispatch is a difficult issue in multi-hop ridesharing. We subdivide the vehicle dispatching problem into the vehicle pairing problem and the request selection problem within a vehicle pair. To address these subproblems, we propose a two-stage framework for vehicle pair dispatching. In the initial stage, we model the vehicle pairing problem as a maximum vehicle-vehicle matching problem in a general graph, which differs from the conventional vehicle-request matching problem in a bipartite graph. The vehicle pairing algorithm is proposed to efficiently solve the vehicle pairing problem. In the second stage, we model the request selection problem as a multidimensional knapsack problem (d-KP) and propose an LP-relaxation request selection algorithm with an approximation ratio 1/5. Experiments conducted on a real-world dataset demonstrate the economic benefit of our proposed two-stage framework.

A Dual-Population Algorithm Based on Self-Adaptive Epsilon Method for Constrained Multi-Objective Optimization

Balancing multiple objectives and various constraints is crucial for effectively solving constrained multi-objective optimization problems (CMOPs). Excessive focus on either convergence or feasibility may not result in favorable outcomes of the algorithm. To confront this challenge, this paper proposes a cooperative evolutionary algorithm named SaE-CMO, which aims to attain the constrained Pareto front by extracting favorable information from promising solutions in both feasible and infeasible regions. To achieve this, SaE-CMO employs a dual-population approach to enhance search progress, consisting of a main population, Population1, and an auxiliary population, Population2. These two populations complement each other to achieve optimal results. A newly proposed self-adaptive epsilon method is employed in both Population1 and Population2, using different comparison criteria to select next population from mating pools, respectively. Population2 can retain some solutions that are well-constrained but poorly converged, thereby preserving information about both the constrained and the unconstrained Pareto front. This property enables Population2 to assist Population1 in maintaining diversity in certain complex CMOPs. To verify the effectiveness of SaE-CMO, we conduct experiments on three benchmark test instances and four real-world CMOPs with some related state-of-art constrained multi-objective optimization algorithms, experimental results prove that the proposed algorithm outperforms the compared algorithms. © 2023, The Authors. Sequential Topic Selection Model with Latent Variable for Topic-Grounded Dialogue

Recently, topic-grounded dialogue system has attracted significant attention due to its effectiveness in predicting the next topic to yield better responses via the historical context and given topic sequence. However, almost all existing topic prediction solutions focus on only the current conversation and corresponding topic sequence to predict the next conversation topic, without exploiting other topic-guided conversations which may contain relevant topic-transitions to current conversation. To address the problem, in this paper we propose a novel approach, named Sequential Global Topic Attention (SGTA) to exploit topic transition over all conversations in a subtle way for better modeling post-to-response topic-transition and guiding the response generation to the current conversation. Specifically, we introduce a latent space modeled as a Multivariate Skew-Normal distribution with hybrid kernel functions to flexibly integrate the global-level information with sequence-level information, and predict the topic based on the distribution sampling results. We also leverage a topic-aware prior-posterior approach for secondary selection of predicted topics, which is utilized to optimize the response generation task. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our model outperforms competitive baselines on prediction and generation tasks. Copyright © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.
