The rise of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) has brought new opportunities for the mechanical equipment condition monitoring. The trend towards intelligent and automated production of mechanical equipment has become mainstream. However, in the actual operational environment, mechanical equipment is often mixed with a large amount of dirty data unrelated to equipment failures, which seriously affects equipment fault diagnosis and wastes maintenance resources. To improve the reliability of mechanical equipment health status analysis, this paper proposes a new method for dirty data identification suitable for mechanical equipment condition monitoring. First, utilizing the time-space position encoding (TSPE) to map positional relationships between sequences. Next, designing a time-dimension attention (TDA) mechanism to capture the correlation between multiple temporal attribute features and the temporal dependencies between preceding and subsequent data. Then, building a dirty data identification model using an improved Transformer network and Generative Adversarial network (GAN). Finally, employing an adaptive thresholding method to dynamically set thresholds, determining the degree of data anomalies by comparing anomaly scores with the threshold. The effectiveness of the proposed method are validated through one simulation experiment and one real-world example. The F1 Score of this method on the simulated missing data and drifting data is 0.9874 and 0.9838. On the drive-end and fan-end is $\mathbf{0. 9 7 0 0}$ and 0.9882 at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). Compared to other dirty data identification methods in the field, this method has better dirty data identification capability.

The Composed Image Retrieval (CIR) task aims to retrieve a target image that meets the requirements based on a given multimodal query (includes a reference image and modification text). Most existing works align multimodal semantics at both local and global granularity. However, they have failed to consider the mining of semantic correspondences at the intermediate-grained level, which has resulted in sub-optimal model performance. In this paper, we propose an adaptive interMEDiate-graIned Aggregation network (MEDIAN). Compared with the conventional CIR models, MEDIAN is capable of generating intermediate-grained feature aggregation supervised signals and constructing graph attention networks to extract intermediate-grained features. Concurrently, MEDIAN also devises cross-modal semantic correspondence aligning guided by the target image, which in turn enables accurate multi-grained feature composition. The superiority of MEDIAN is demonstrated by extensive experiments on three benchmark datasets. Our code is available at https://***/***/.

Composed Image Retrieval (CIR) is a novel image retrieval paradigm that aims at searching for the target images via the multimodal query including a reference image and a modification text. Although existing works have made significant progress, they overlook the inter-modal coherence and incoherence relations modeling, hindering the retrieval accuracy of CIR models. This limitation is non-trivial due to the following two challenges: 1) inter-modal incoherence and 2) intra-modal entanglement. To address the above challenges, we propose a comPlementArity-guided dIsentanglement network (PAIR), which can disentangle the features of multimodal queries from a semantic coherence perspective, thereby facilitating the identification of both complementary coherent and incoherent features. Furthermore, based on disentangled features, PAIR develops an asymmetric feature composition module, which is designed to enhance the retrieval performance of the model. Extensive experiments on three benchmark datasets demonstrate the superiority of PAIR. The code is available at https://***/***/.

As an emerging distributed technology, Federated learning enables model training while protecting privacy without sharing local data. However, the heterogeneity of geographic locations and devices leads to response delays from stragglers. Client grouping in federated learning can tolerate stragglers from a global perspective, but differences in data distribution within groups may result in local performance bias. To address this issue, we propose a federated learning method called FedSimRep, which selects representative clients based on data distribution similarity. FedSimRep performs group training by collecting readiness signals from topological communications and maintains synchronization tables and graphs to track training progress. Additionally, it selects representative clients by leveraging the relationship between local optimization similarity and data distribution similarity to optimize the global model. Experiments and theoretical analyses on public datasets such as MNIST, CIFAR-10, and UEU-Fed demonstrate that FedSimRep achieves significant advantages in terms of accuracy and efficiency.

Multimodal dialogue emotion recognition integrates data from multiple modalities to accurately identify emotional states in conversations. However, differences in expression and information density across modalities complicate the fusion of features. Traditional methods may introduce redundant information from other utterances, reducing the accuracy of emotion recognition. Existing one-hot labels often fail to capture the full range of emotional expressions, leading to biased results. To address these issues, we propose a model that fuses different modalities within the same utterance to avoid redundancy. It employs a progressive classification process, refining emotion recognition from coarse to fine granularity. Additionally, we use emotion polarity probabilities as weights for fine-grained classification and introduce a multimodal information-rich label that considers both the data and their interactions. Experiments on IEMOCAP and MELD datasets demonstrate the model’s effectiveness, significantly improving dialog emotion recognition accuracy. Our code is available at https://***/r/LOCG-188E.

Evaluating the reliability of interconnection networks is crucial. The edge-connectivity is a parameter used to assess reliability. In this paper, we discuss a conditional edge-connectivity called the h-extra g-component edge-connectivity. It combines the extra edge-connectivity and the component edge-connectivity. First, this paper proved that $c \lambda_{3}^{h}\left(Q_{n}^{3}\right)=4 n h-$ $4 e_{h}\left(Q_{n}^{3}\right)-h$ for $1 \leq h \leq \frac{1}{2} \cdot 3^{\left\lceil\frac{h}{2}\right\rceil}, n \geq 3$. Then, the paper given the upper bound of h-extra g-component edge-connectivity of the 3 -ary n-cubes for $g \in\left\{4,3^{c}+1\right\}, 1 \leq c \leq\left\lceil\frac{n}{2}\right\rceil-1, n \geq 3$.

Most current object detection algorithms have the issue of missing objects due to occlusion. As the great difference of scale between occlusion objects and their integrity is affected, how to reduce the missing rate of occlusion objects has become a challenging problem in object detection algorithms. Aiming at the problem, this paper proposes an object detection algorithm based on multi-scale context information on the basis of the YOLOv4 algorithm framework. Firstly, the object features are extracted through the CSPDarkNet53 feature extraction network. Then, the proposed attention-guided multi-scale context information module (AMCM) enhances the ability to perceive object context information and endows features with different influence factors through attention weighting to improve feature discrimination. The experimental results show that the detection accuracy and recall of the proposed algorithm reach 83.2% and 96.4% respectively on PASCAL VOC dataset, and 83.2% and 91% on KITTI dataset, which improves the detection performance of YOLOv4 algorithm. © 2022 IEEE.

Convolutional Neural networks (CNN), particularly low latency models such as MobileNets have excelled in many applications, including object detection in images, speech recognition and natural language processing, but they are vulnerable to subtle perturbations that are virtually imperceptible to the human eye yet can deceive the network into misclassifying images. To enhance the robustness of such CNNs against adversaries, conventional adversarial training methods treat all data points as equally important and susceptible to attack. A weighted adversarial learning algorithm is developed in a Stackelberg game framework. This approach prioritizes data points that are more susceptible to attacks during network training. To further optimize the algorithm, we employ a Reinforcement Learning ($\mathbf{R L}$) agent to fine-tune the hyperparameters of the model, thereby increasing its robustness. Our findings indicate an increased robustness of $66.18 \%$ of the Weighted Adversary Reinforced Stackelberg Learning (WARS) against the traditional adversarial training of $64.72 \%$ in a one epoch training, using the CIFAR-10 dataset. We conclude that the WARS represents a valuable adversarial training method for bolstering the robustness of low latency CNN models.

Social platforms, while facilitating access to information, have also become saturated with a plethora of fake news, resulting in negative consequences. Automatic multimodal fake news detection is a worthwhile pursuit. Existing multimodal fake news datasets only provide binary labels of real or fake. However, real news is alike, while each fake news is fake in its own way. These datasets fail to reflect the mixed nature of various types of multimodal fake news. To bridge the gap, we construct an attributing multi-granularity multimodal fake news detection dataset AMG, revealing the inherent fake pattern. Furthermore, we propose a multi-granularity clue alignment model MGCA to achieve multimodal fake news detection and attribution. Bearings, serving as crucial components in mechanical equipment, exert a direct influence on the overall performance of the system. Deep transfer learning has garnered significant attention in the realm of intelligent fault diagnosis for machines. Nevertheless, extant deep transfer learning algorithms encounter challenges when detecting newly emerging faults within the target domain. To address this limitation, this study introduces a novel bearing fault diagnosis approach for newly emerging faults, leveraging deep transfer learning principles. Initially, a multi-grained hierarchical feature extraction network is constructed to effectively capture intricate data characteristics. Subsequently, these extracted features are employed to train a fault classifier, thereby establishing a fault diagnosis network grounded in deep transfer learning. This network is capable of discriminating unlabeled new faults from labeled known faults with remarkable precision. Furthermore, an adaptive hierarchical clustering algorithm, informed by the elbow method, is incorporated to categorize the newly emerging faults. The clustered samples are then utilized to train the online sequential extreme learning machine (OS-ELM), facilitating the construction of a new fault diagnosis network tailored for diagnosing these faults in the target domain. The efficacy of the proposed methodology was rigorously verified through experiments executed on both the CWRU and XJTU-SY datasets. The outcomes conclusively demonstrated an accuracy of $\mathbf{9 8. 7 5 \%}$ on the CWRU dataset and $\mathbf{9 7. 9 2 \%}$ on the XJTU-SY dataset. This model portends immense potential in tackling fault diagnosis transfer scenarios characterized by the emergence of multiple novel faults within the target domain, thereby markedly broadening the applicability of deep transfer learning.
