To achieve precise localization,autonomous vehicles usually rely on a multi-sensor perception system surrounding the mobile *** is a time-consuming process,and mechanical distortion will cause extrinsic calibration ***,we propose a lidar-visual-inertial odometry,which is combined with an adapted sliding window mechanism and allows for online nonlinear optimization and extrinsic *** the adapted sliding window mechanism,spatial-temporal alignment is performed to manage measurements arriving at different *** nonlinear optimization with online calibration,visual features,cloud features,and inertial measurement unit(IMU)measurements are used to estimate the ego-motion and perform extrinsic *** experiments were carried out on both public datasets and real-world *** indicate that the proposed system outperforms state-of-the-art open-source methods when facing challenging sensor-degenerating conditions.

With the rapid development of smart manufacturing, existing microservice deployment strategies based on the TCP protocol tend to encounter problems such as network latency, excessive header length, and port exhaustion in high concurrency scenarios. MQTT Broker can relay data between microservices, effectively alleviating these issues. However, the communication overhead of the Broker is significantly related to its deployment and the dependency of microservices. An appropriate deployment solution can significantly improve service quality. To address this issue, this paper models the deployment of MQTT Broker and microservices as a graph with cycles. By introducing auxiliary variables, the NP-hard problem is transformed into a mixed-integer quadratic programming problem, improving problem-solving efficiency and optimizing the microservices deployment strategy to reduce communication overhead. Meanwhile, a real-world heterogeneous cluster was constructed to experiment on fault detection applications, elaborating on the superiority of the microservice deployment strategy designed in this paper. Experimental results demonstrate that our approach reduces communication overhead by 20% in comparison to both the greedy strategy and the K8s strategy. This suggests that achieving an optimal balance between the number of Brokers and microservices is vital for ensuring efficient resource utilization and maintaining low communication latency, particularly as the scale of services expands. © 2024 IEEE.

An inspection allocation algorithm based on different starting points and endurance capabilities of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is proposed for the multi-UAVs forest inspection process. Firstly, the area map to be inspected is rasterized, and the distances between the starting points of each UAV and individual grid cells are computed, which will be used for area decomposition. Subsequently, an evaluation function is employed to allocate individual grid cells reasonably to each UAV. Then, the boundary lines of the allocated sub-regions are generated, by which the raster map is converted into an inspection map with continuous boundaries. This ultimately yields the sub-regions for inspection by each UAV. Simulation results demonstrate that this method effectively allocates the forest inspection area to the various UAVs in a rational manner. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

To meet the demand of the laser application market for semiconductor laser function diversification, this paper proposes a handheld multi-wavelength laser stack packaging module. The 808 nm, 915 nm, and 980 nm semiconductor laser bars are selected for the integrated assembly of the multi-wavelength module. However, with the continuous increase of the optical power density of the integrated packaging module, thermal management has become a key factor affecting the performance and life of the device. In this paper, the finite element analysis method is used to analyze the influence of the arrangement of three laser stripe chips in the stacked packaging structure on the heat dissipation of the multi-wavelength module. The simulation results show that the heat dissipation efficiency of the multi-wavelength module can be improved by 13.74 % by changing the arrangement of chips. A back heat dissipation packaging structure with higher heat dissipation efficiency is proposed, and the influence of chip arrangement and working mode on the thermal characteristics of the device in the new packaging structure is simulated and analyzed. According to the simulation results, a chip arrangement that can make the heat dissipation effect of the multi-wavelength module achieve the best is determined. © 2022 Institute of Physics Publishing. In view of the problems of high energy consumption, long inventory time and low production efficiency in the production process of traditional aluminum extrusion machine, this paper establishes an efficient two-stage parallel scheduling optimization model based on the integration of flexible job shop scheduling and assembly sequence planning (IFJSS-ASP). On this basis, an evolutionary algorithm combining strong dominance relationship and simple grouping method (SDREA-SGM) is proposed. The algorithm utilizes a two-stage hybrid chromosome encoding and decoding method to establish a rational mapping from the decision space to the solution space. Furthermore, in order to prevent the model from easily falling into local optima, an adaptive intra-class and inter-class pairing selection strategy has been adopted by the algorithm. This enhances global search and improves local search ***, the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithm are verified by solving problems of different scales. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, high-speed train is regarded as a single prime point, a new tracking control method combining adaptive control and Kalman filtering is proposed. This paper solves the noise interference problem in the tracking control process of high-speed train. The method first linearises the original system, then uses Kalman filtering to do model estimation, and the controller is designed for the predictive model through adaptive control. Finally, MATLAB is used to simulate and verify the effectiveness of this method. This proposed method successfully solves the problems of nonlinearity, noise interference and unknown parameters in system. The error caused by resistance in the high-speed train tracking control process can be dealt with effectively.

In this article, an adaptive event-triggered asymp¬totically fault-tolerant control (FTC) issue for nonlinear systems with actuator faults is investigated. An extended neural networks (NNs) technique is introduced to estimate unknown functions of the system under consideration. Compared with traditional NNs that ignore approximation errors, the proposed extended NNs further processes approximation errors, reducing the conservatism of the proposed algorithm. Then, within the framework of backstepping method, a new adaptive control strategy is developed by combining event-triggered mechanism (ETM) and bound estimation (BE) approach, which ensures the asymptotic convergence of system states while also reducing the transmission of unnecessary information, thus improving the utilization of communication resources. At the same time, the designed controller eliminates the adverse effects of actuator failures and system nonlinear terms. Finally, a simulation example of a single-link robot system is provided to demonstrate that the developed control strategy can ensure that all signals are bounded and system states are asymptotically convergent. © 2024 IEEE.

The multiscale problem is one of the challenging topics in the object detection field. Among the current studies toward this problem, feature pyramid network (FPN) has been shown a superior performance. The core principle of FPN is a mapping for the detectable objects into hierarchy features. These features are designed with different size of receptive fields, which brings good scale invariance in the classification and localization subtasks. However, a disturbance of information dilution is generated by the assignment for the detectable objects into different features. This dilution disturbance is associated with the convolution or pooling operation during the hierarchy feature extraction process. Both of the imprecise localization information in the top features and the fuzzy classification information in the bottom ones limit the performance of FPN. Aiming at the disturbance rejection problem of information dilution, this article presents a feature compensation method. A cross compensation between the semantic information and the localization information in hierarchy features is used to enhance the vanilla FPN. Then, the evaluation metrics in an object detection task are examined. Not only the overall performance, but also the respective metrics for multiscale objects validate a considerable improvement of the FPN with a disturbance compensation mechanism. The experimental results demonstrate an effectiveness of the proposed method in this article. © 2020 IEEE.

Refined composite multi-scale dispersion entropy(RCMDE),as a new and effective nonlinear dynamic method,has been applied in the field of medical diagnosis and fault *** this paper,we first introduce RCMDE into the field of underwater acoustic signal processing for complexity feature extraction of ship radiated noise,and then propose a novel classification method for ship-radiated noise based on RCMDE and k-nearest neighbor(KNN),termed *** results of a comparative experiment show that the proposed RCMDE-KNN classification method can effectively extract the complexity features of ship-radiated noise,and has better classification performance under one and two scales than the other three classification methods based on multi-scale permutation entropy(MPE)and KNN,multi-scale weighted-permutation entropy(MW-PE)and KNN,and multi-scale dispersion entropy(MDE)and KNN,termed MPE-KNN,MW-PE-KNN,and *** is proved that the RCMDE-KNN classification method for ship-radiated noise is feasible and effective,and can obtain a very high recognition rate.
