A reasonable math model is fundamental to describing gene regulatory mechanism.A new method is proposed to model transcriptional regulation with transcription factor from gene expression profiles using fractional order differential *** Process is employed as a tool to model the latent transcription factor activity and particle swarm optimization algorithm is utilized to optimize the fractional order,kinetic parameters in the model and hyperparameters in kernel *** results of the experiment on real gene expression profiles indicate that the fractional order differential equation fits data better,also the proposed approach is feasible to model transcriptional regulation.

Nonlinear system identification is one of the most important topics all over the word. Until now, there are many of off-line identification methods which exhibit well performance. The online approach with non-Gaussian noise, however, is still a challenge. For a class of nonlinear systems where all of the candidate parameters are contained in a definite parameter set, an online parameters and sates estimation method is proposed based on particle filter and Bayes theorem as the following steps. Firstly, regarding all of the candidates, the states are estimated by particle filter(PF) algorithm. Secondly the posterior probabilities of all of candidates are calculated according to the Bayes theorem;then the weights of all of the candidates are obtained through normalization. Lastly, the parameters and sates are estimated ultimately according to the weighted sum of all of the candidates and states. Numerical illustrations are presented to exhibit the application of the method proposed herein, and the performance of the method is examined.

In this paper, a method for a sort of nonlinear system identification with stochastic time-varying parameter is investigated. This kind of nonlinear systems is referring to the system where probability density functions(PDFs) of the parameters are known. This parameter identification and states estimation method is realized based on expectation maximization(EM) algorithm and particle filter. Firstly, parameter particles are generated randomly according to the PDF of parameter. Secondly, the particle filter is employed to estimate system states corresponding to each group of the parameters, and the weight of each group parameters is calculated according to the Bayesian theory. Then the new iteration of parameter is obtained by adopting the expectation maximization algorithm. Lastly, the real parameters are obtained along with system operation. Numerical illustrations are presented to exhibit the effectiveness of the method proposed herein, and the performance of the method is examined.

Railway point machines(RPMS) are one of the key equipments in the railway system to switch different routes for the *** monitoring for RPMs is a vital measure to keep train operation safe and *** convenience and low cost into consideration, a novel intelligent condition monitoring method for RPMs based on sound analysis is ***-domain and frequency-domain features are obtained,and normalized using z-score standardization method to eliminate the influences of different *** particle swarm optimization(BPSO) is utilized to select the most significant discrimination feature *** effects of the selected optimal features are verified using Support vector machine(SVM), 1-Nearest neighbor(1 NN), Random forest(RF), and Naive Bayes(NB).Experiment results indicate SVM performs best on identification accuracy and computing cost compared with the other three *** identification accuracies on normal switching and reverse switching processes reach100% and 99.67%, respectively, indicating the feasibility of the proposed method.

Disrupting the circadian rhythms will cause health problems such as sleep disorders, memory disorders and obesity. Finding the suitable external stimulation to synchronize a model with a desired phase is a biologically significant issue. The phase control of circadian rhythms for Drosophila is considered from control engineering viewpoint in this paper. If all parameters of the model are known, we can use the feedback linearization to design a tracking controller for the phase ***, in practice, parameters uncertainties always exist. To deal with this problem, a slide-mode controller is proposed for the phase tracking control of circadian rhythms. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

The weak signal detection method based on stochastic resonance is usually used to extract and identify the weak characteristic signal submerged in strong noise by using the noise energy transfer *** propose a novel composite multistable stochastic-resonance(NCMSR)model combining the Gaussian potential model and an improved bistable *** with the traditional multistable stochastic resonance method,all the parameters in the novel model have no symmetry,the output signal-to-noise ratio can be optimized and the output amplitude can be improved by adjusting the system *** model retains the advantages of continuity and constraint of the Gaussian potential model and the advantages of the improved bistable model without output saturation,the NCMSR model has a higher utilization of *** the output signal-to-noise ratio as the index,weak periodic signal is detected based on the NCMSR model in Gaussian noise andαnoise environment respectively,and the detection effect is *** application of NCMSR to the actual detection of bearing fault signals can realize the fault detection of bearing inner race and outer *** outstanding advantages of this method in weak signal detection are verified,which provides a theoretical basis for industrial practical applications.

The current of the distribution networks under 66kV is widely operating in small current grounding mode. The problem of extracting the fault feature in each line would be quite difficult due to the short duration of the transient zero sequence current with the non-stationary and non-linear characteristics when the single-phase-to-ground fault occurs in the system. Therefore, a novel method of single-phase-to-ground fault line selection for small current based on Fast S-transform (FST) is developed in this paper. Firstly, FST is presented to transform the transient electric current signal in each feeder, after that the one-dimension modulus and phase angle value can been obtained. Then, the feeder with the largest energy value calculated by the modulus obtained above is selected as the alternative possible fault line. Finally, line failure or bus failure can been determined by evaluating the difference of the phase angle between the fault line and the comparison line that has been selected from the non-alternative feeders before. The results of the simulative and experimental circuits reveal that the proposed method using FST can avoid the influence of neural point grounding type. Additionally, the method of line selection is quite accurate and real-time. © 2018 IEEE.

To solve the robot visual servoing problem in the natural scene,a robot visual sliding servoing method using SIFT features in the framework of epipolar-geometry-based visual servoing is ***,corresponding image feature points from the current image feature and the desired image are obtained by SIFT algorithm;Then the features error of the whole robot visual servoing system are calculated according to the corresponding points;Finally,considering characteristics of epipolar geometry for robot visual servoing system,the rotation sliding mode controller and translation sliding mode controller are sequentially designed to calculate the rotation movement and translation movement of the robot *** positioning experiments on a 6DOF industrial robot demonstrate that the proposed method can effectively locate an object in the natural scene.

To solve the problem of the visual navigation for mobile robot in dynamic environment,a visual navigation system for mobile robot with Kinect camera is ***,the improved RBPF(RAO Blackwellized particle filters) algorithm is used to build the 2D grid map of the indoor environment and on the basis of this map operation of inflating obstacles is applied to build the global grid map considering the actual size of the ***,cost map using motion primitives is built while using this cost map,anytime Repairing A*(ARA*) global path planning algorithm,which has property of anytime algorithm,is combined with Dynamic Window Approach(DWA) local path planning algorithm to plan a smooth path from start point to target point and generate the optimal control input for robot ***,the adaptive monte carlo localization method(KLD-Sampling) is used to locate the robot and then a visual navigation system for mobile robot with Kinect camera is *** indoor mobile robot navigation experiment results show that the designed robot navigation system can plan a smooth path which is in accordance with robot kinematics and autonomously avoid the static and moving obstacles in the environment.
