For mining useful data from mass data generated by Internet of things, analyses shortages of the traditional Apriori algorithm which has a lower mining efficiency and occupies the larger memory space. So, MapReduce model of cloud computing is introduced. In the mechanism of MapReduce, combine the architecture characteristics and key technology of Internet of Things, conduct distributedmining on data and information in environment of the Internet of Things, and the calculation model of distributed data stream mining is drawn. Performance analysis proves that the new data stream mining model overcomes difficulty of traditional data mining, and each link reflects the idea of distributed structure and improves mining efficiency obviously. © 2014. Considering that VANET may reflect the characters of opportunity network, a routing scenario with real-time information perceiving is proposed in this paper. First, a node executes limited and directed data flooding and then carries out feedback with modified greedy algorithm using hot area. In this strategy, nodes dynamically adjust parameters by self-learning properly. The experiment result under ONE simulator shows its promotion comparing to classic Epidemic, etc. © 2014 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.

In SaaS, most tenants rely on the service provider for data maintenance and computation. As tenants no longer possess their application and data locally, it is of critical importance for the tenants to ensure that their data are being correctly stored and maintained. However, the customized multi-tenants sharing storage mode makes it hard for tenants to guarantee their data integrity because multiple tenants’ data is stored in one physical universal table and different data types may be stored into a flex column based on tenants’ customization. Meanwhile to ensure performances of query, adequate pivot table is set up. These introduce new challenges to data integrity protection for tenants. This paper presents a review of the state of the art solutions and recent patents in the fields of data authentication, and puts forward a multitenant data authentication model (MTDA). MTDA is a composite structure that constructs pivot authentication tree (PAT) on the pivot table and combines it with signature set (S-set) built on universal table to ensure that malicious insiders can't modify the data in pivot table and universal table. The main contribution of MTDA is it can guarantee the tenant query result in one tree travels and return the verification object, corresponding to the result on pivot table and universal table. We demonstrate effectiveness of our model compared with direct adoption of the MB tree based approaches on pivot table and universal table through the experiment. MTDA shows a better performance on VO verification. © Li et al.

Digital watermarking technology is an effective means to resolve problems on information security and copyright protection for digital media. The paper introduces CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) to digital watermarking and proposes a digital watermarking algorithm for grayscale images based on CDMA and HVS (Human Visual System). The algorithm has adopted CDMA spread spectrum technology to orthogonalize the watermark to enhance security and considered human visual system when watermarks are embedded into the original images. Experiments have shown that the watermark can achieve invisibility and the algorithm is effective and robust. Copyright © 2014 Binary Information Press.

Image classification is a well-known classical problem in multimedia content analysis. In this paper a framework of semi-supervised image classification method is presented based on random feature subspace. Firstly, color spatial distribution entropy is introduced to represent the color spatial information, and texture feature are extracted by using Gabor filter. Then random subspaces of the feature vector are dynamically generated from mixed feature vector as different views. Finally, three classifiers are trained by the classified images and tri-training algorithm is applied to classify sample images. Experimental results strongly demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed system. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2014.

LBlock is a 64-bit lightweight block cipher which can be implemented in both hardware environments and software platforms. It was proposed by Wu Wenling and Zhang Lei at ACNS2011. We studied the security of LBlock found that the permutation layer can getting better on security in the internet of things. In order to assure it can achieve enough security, we gave an improvement on permutation layer of LBlock. By analyzing the property of the diffusion transformation, it has shown that a new kind of 11-round impossible differential was presented. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first paper that proposes this way analysis on improved LBlock. © Springer Science+Business Media Dordrecht 2014.

Considering its successful application in solving discrete single objective problems, biogeography-based optimization (BBO) is considered as a new promising intelligent algorithm. Therefore, many studies are conducted to apply it to solve multi-objective optimization problems (MOPs). However, these improved BBOs are not always effective because of the complexity of MOPs. A multi-objective biogeography-based algorithm with mean value migration operator named MVBBO is proposed in this paper. In MVBBO, mean value theory and new boundary constraint rule are adopted to extend the range of feasible domain. Meanwhile, mutation operator and Ε-dominance-based archive strategy are employed to achieve better convergence and diversity. Simulation on benchmark functions shows that the proposed MVBBO's final Pareto solution set is better than NSGA-II and other improved multi-objective BBOs in convergence and distribution of Pareto solutions. © Springer Science+Business Media Dordrecht 2014.

As a result of rapid development, the Internet has become an indispensable tool in people's daily life, and web logs have been growing rapidly as well. How to deal with massive logs timely and extract information people need from the logs has become a problem;handling web log by single computer can not meet people's needs any more. Combining cloud computing and Hadoop technology, this paper established a new processing system for the collection of logs and remote parallelization analysis, which not only solved the issues of traditional systems that data handing and collection could not proceed simultaneously, but reduced the performance bottleneck of computing power and storage capacity, thereby saving much time and improving efficiency significantly. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

An energy saving and balanced clustering routing protocol for wireless sensor networks

In order to prolong the lifetime of wireless sensor networks, we propose an energy saving and balanced clustering routing protocol (ESB). ESB employs energy and distance in probability model to generate candidate cluster-heads (CHs). Candidate CHs set timer based on residual energy to ensure the nodes with high residual energy become CHs. ESB employs residual energy and the distance to Sink in competing radius. When normal nodes select the optimal CH to join, they consider energy, its communication cost and CHs' communication cost. When CHs select relay-node, they consider optimal forwarding hops, energy, inter-cluster communication cost and intra-cluster communication cost. These measures can not only save energy, but also remit the imbalance problem of energy consumption. Through performance analysis, ESB has favorable expansibility and low algorithm complexity. The results of simulation experiments on the OMNet++ show that ESB can better balance energy consumption of all nodes in the network, save network's energy, and prolong network's lifetime compared with other cluster-based routing algorithms. © 2014 ISSN 1881-803X.

As a new social networking media, Micro-blog is recognized by more and more people gradually, the orientation analysis of Micro-blog short text messages has become a hotspot in the field of data mining. At present, the research of Micro-blog orientation analysis mainly concentrate in the text, without considering the impact of other emotional factors. By analyzing and studying Sina Micro-blog, this paper added new words and emoticons in the basis of traditional emotional dictionary to construct special Micro-blog dictionary. Meanwhile, it analyzed rhetoric and sentence to improve the effect of orientation analysis. The experimental results showed that the method in Micro-blog orientation analysis obtained better performance. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
