Decentralized Federated Learning (DFL) is extensively applied in various areas, e.g., healthcare, finance, and internet of Things (loT), offering practical solutions for distributed intelligent applications and data collaboration. In DFL systems, participants, e.g., edge devices, organizations, or nodes, collaborate in the training of a shared global model by aggregating local models from various participants. During this process, participants need to communicate frequently with a central authority/node/server to share model parameters. Such communication is vulnerable to malicious attacks or tampering, posing a significant threat to the integrity of model training. The integrity verification method can provide an integrity guarantee for the global model of DFL. However, most of the existing integrity verification schemes are centralized and not suitable for resource-constrained DFL scenarios. Therefore, how to verify the integrity of the global model becomes an important issue in DFL. To address it, we devise a global model integrity verification method for DFL. Specifically, we generate a digital signature for each global model parameter as proof of integrity, while improving the efficiency of integrity verification by electing delegates to conduct the verification process. A series of experiments is conducted to validate the performance of the proposed method. The experimental results demonstrate that our approach not only effectively ensures the integrity of the global model but also functions well under limited resources.

Object detection is a fundamental component of computer vision, playing a pivotal role in various applications. However, the accurate detection of small and densely distributed objects remains a challenging problem in this field. This challenge is particularly exacerbated in the context of aerial imagery, characterized by its distinctive bird’s-eye view, intricate backgrounds, and the variability in object appearances. This paper addresses these persistent challenges in object detection, with a focus on the specific difficulties posed by aerial images. We propose a deformable end-to-end object detection with transformers (DETR)-based framework to enhance small object detection accuracy, ultimately contributing to improved computer vision capabilities in domains like remote sensing, surveillance, and autonomous aerial systems. Firstly, in order to aggregate the entire input sequence information in the backbone network and improve the detection accuracy of small objects, we propose DMCA based on deformable features and attention mechanisms. Secondly, in order to capture and model the relationships between samples for dense pixel-level representations in small objects and improve the detection accuracy of small objects, we try to introduce BatchEncoder by implementing an encoder in the batch dimension. Experimental results show that, compared to the baseline, our method significantly improves the accuracy of small object detection in aerial images. The processing and analysis of a large amount of remote sensing data require powerful computing power. The computing power internet can integrate the scattered computing resources to provide flexible and scalable computing power to meet the computing needs of different sizes and types.

The development of the internet has made people more closely related and has put forward higher requirements for recommendation models. Most recommendation models are studied only for the long-term interests of users. In this paper, the interaction time between the user and the item is introduced as auxiliary information in the model construction. Interaction time is used to determine users’ long-term preferences and short-term preferences. In this paper, temporal features are extracted by building a convolutional gated recurrent unit with attention neural network (CNN-GRU-Attention). Firstly, for the problem of accurate feature extraction, CNN are constructed to extract higher-level and more abstract features of themselves and transform high-dimensional data into low-dimensional data; secondly, for the problem of social temporality, GRU are used to not only extract temporal information, but also effectively reduce gradient dispersion, making model convergence and training easier; finally, Graph Attention networks are used to aggregate the social relationship information of users and items respectively, which constitute the final feature representation of users and items respectively. In particular, a modified cosine similarity is used to reduce the error caused by data insensitivity when constructing the social information of the item. In this study, simulation experiments are conducted on two publicly available datasets (Epinions and Ciao), and the experimental results show that the proposed recommended model performs better than other social recommendation models, improving the evaluation metrics of MAE and RMSE by 1.06%-1.33% and 1.19%-1.37%, respectively. The effectiveness of the model innovation is proved.

In recent years, Electric Vehicles (EVs) have emerged as a sustainable alternative to internal combustion vehicles, noted for better efficiency, lower operational costs, and reduced carbon emissions. However, with the growing adoption of EVs and limited charging infrastructure, challenges such as charging congestion arise. Traditional plug-in and in-Parking Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging modes, constrained by fixed charging locations, lack flexibility and necessitate long charging times. Therefore, this paper introduces a novel in-Motion V2V charging mode, termed V2V (M) mode, allowing an EV as an energy Provider (EV-P) and an EV as an energy Consumer (EV-C) to form a V2V charging Pair (V2V-Pair). Then, the V2V-Pair can transfer energy via wireless V2V charging service while on-the-move. In this paper, the proposed V2V (M) management framework employs a Path Proximity-based V2V Pair matching algorithm and spatio-temporal cooperative path planning, to enhance charging efficiency and reduce charging trip duration. The urban environment simulation results demonstrate marked improvements of the proposed V2V (M) mode. It shorters the charging trip duration and enhances charging service efficiency, offering a viable solution to current EV charging constraints.

The legal judgement prediction (LJP) of judicial texts represents a multi-label text classification (MLTC) problem, which in turn involves three distinct tasks: the prediction of charges, legal articles, and terms of penalty. Nevertheless, extant multi-label text classification models tend to eschew the consideration of multiple correlations and semantic information between labels when predicting judicial texts, which may result in the loss of pertinent information. Furthermore, these models do not take full advantage of the local and overall information of the labels in the process of selecting appropriate labels for the text using the multi-head attention mechanism. To address these issues, we propose a new model, BGFLFF, which explores label correlation and semantics among the three tasks by employing Graph Convolutional Network (GCN) and multi-head attention mechanisms. In particular, we propose a Bi-Graph Fusion GCN (BGF-GCN), which fuses the co-occurrence matrix of labels with the cosine similarity matrix, thereby fully exploiting the multiple correlations between labels. Furthermore, prior to embedding the tags, the interpretations of the labels are obtained via Google in order to enhance the semantic information between the labels. To further reinforce the interconnections between labels and text and more effectively comprehend the interrelationships between the three tasks, we propose a Multi-Head Label Feature Fusion Attentional Mechanism (MH-LFFAtt), which assigns distinct weights to the pertinent label information in the text by fusing the local and overall features of the labels. The experimental results demonstrate that the F1 score exhibits an improvement of up to ${2. 2 8 \%}$ and a minimum of ${1. 2 9 \%}$ across the various tasks of the two datasets. This evidence substantiates the assertion that BGFLFF outperforms the existing baseline model.

With the rapid advancement and application of the internet of Medical Things (IoMT), personal health records (PHRs) are now increasingly comprised of data collected by internet of Things (IoT) devices and medical records documented by healthcare professionals. Personal health record (PHR) sharing demonstrates great potential in improving the accuracy of disease diagnosis. However, PHR sharing also brings risks such as illegal access and personal information leakage. Some works explored using blockchain or attribute-based encryption (ABE) to solve these privacy leakage problems, but those solutions did not pay attention to the user’s attribute privacy. In this work, we combine a linear secret sharing scheme (LSSS) and zero-knowledge succinct non-interactive argument of knowledge (zkSNARK) scheme to design an efficient zero-knowledge proof protocol called zk-AHSNARK. It can verify the user’s attribute permissions while also hiding attribute information. Based on zk-AHSNARK, we propose a novel PHR sharing scheme that protects attribute privacy. Data security is ensured by storing encrypted data in the interplanetary file system (IPFS). In addition, we introduce keyword ciphertext search to achieve fast data retrieval, and we implement the search and verification algorithms via a smart contract, ensuring the trustworthiness and integrity of the execution. Finally, through a large number of simulations, we demonstrated the suggested scheme’s viability and security.

With the increasing intelligence of power IoT terminal devices, the massive volume of data transmission, and the widespread adoption of shared services, traditional terminal boundary security mechanisms are unable to keep up with the rapid development of network technologies and applications. Additionally, they fail to trace and source network attacks, leading to frequent organized and purposeful malicious attack incidents. To address these issues, this paper proposes a research method for risk modeling and traceability of boundary attacks on power IoT terminals based on complex networks. First, based on the node information of power IoT terminal devices and complex network theory, a terminal boundary attack network (TBAN) is established. Next, using indicators related to complex network theory, such as degree, in-degree, and out-degree, the terminal boundary attack network is analyzed. Furthermore, a staged TBAN is proposed to analyze the attack risks at different times. Then, combining causal theory, a method for tracing and sourcing terminal boundary attacks based on a causal Bayesian network is proposed to identify and trace malicious attacks. Finally, validation and testing analysis are conducted using the actual deployment of power IoT terminal devices. The proposed analysis method transforms the spatial characteristics of the power IoT terminal boundary into a temporally sequential TBAN, which not only visually reflects attack risks but also reveals the temporal relationships of terminal boundary attacks between lines.

Group recommendation involves comprehensively considering various aspects, including members and items, to predict the overall interests of a group and recommend suitable items through a recommendation system. With the rapid evolution of the internet, online group activities have become increasingly prevalent, making group recommendation a highly discussed topic within the realm of recommendation systems. However, current research in group recommendation still confronts the following challenges. Firstly, a predominant portion of group recommendation research focuses solely on aggregating group-level information, neglecting the valuable contribution of higher-order member-level insights to group recommendation. Moreover, some aggregation strategies overly prioritize fairness, thereby disregarding common real-world patterns. Secondly, previous studies have primarily relied on aggregating individual member interests to establish group preferences, lacking a holistic consideration of group dynamics. To tackle these challenges, this study introduces an innovative approach by implementing multi-channel hypergraph convolution within the member perspective. This approach aims to effectively extract higher-order insights from members by utilizing a member information enhancement module. By establishing group interconnections based on similarity and employing an adaptive fusion network to amalgamate multiple viewpoints, a final representation is derived. Experimental results demonstrate that our proposed model surpasses baseline models by 3% to 4% in terms of hit rate and accuracy, validating the efficacy of our approach.

A Systematic Literature Review of Robust Federated Learning: Issues, Solutions, and Future Research Directions

Federated Learning (FL) has emerged as a promising paradigm for training machine learning models across distributed devices while preserving their data privacy. However, the robustness of FL models against adversarial data and model attacks, noisy updates, and label-flipped data issues remain a critical concern. In this paper, we present a systematic literature review using the PRISMA framework to comprehensively analyze existing research on robust FL. Through a rigorous selection process using six key databases (ACM Digital Library, IEEE Xplore, ScienceDirect, Springer, Web of Science, and Scopus), we identify and categorize 244 studies into eight themes of ensuring robustness in FL: objective regularization, optimizer modification, differential privacy employment, additional dataset requirement and decentralization orchestration, manifold, client selection, new aggregation algorithms, and aggregation hyperparameter tuning. We synthesize the findings from these themes, highlighting the various approaches and their potential gaps proposed to enhance the robustness of FL models. Furthermore, we discuss future research directions, focusing on the potential of hybrid approaches, ensemble techniques, and adaptive mechanisms for addressing the challenges associated with robust FL. This review not only provides a comprehensive overview of the state-of-the-art in robust FL but also serves as a roadmap for researchers and practitioners seeking to advance the field and develop more robust and resilient FL systems.
