System and software quality evaluation is an important method of quality assurance, and its standardization provides quality requirements and evaluation supported by quality measurement. ISO/IEC organizations have also published a series of standards on system and software quality requirements and evaluation, which is significant for assuring the quality of system and software. This paper introduces quality evaluation based on SQuaRE series standards, and analyzes the relationships among quality model, measurement, requirements, evaluation. Besides, considerations and suggestions are given when applying the measurement function to quality evaluation. Finally, comparison with different methods of quantifying quality characteristics and sub-characteristics with the measured values is analyzed.

Dynamic symbolic execution (DSE) is widely used to generate test cases for automated test. However, the practicability of DSE is greatly decreased by path explosion, which is an unavoidable challenge caused by that the number of execution paths increases exponentially with the increase in the size of program. To alleviate this problem, dynamic symbolic execution based on multiple test points (MPDSE) is proposed in this paper to improve the efficiency of DSE by reducing redundant paths. Through analyzing the dependences between test points and branches, the equivalent paths are figured out so that MPDSE can eliminate exploring redundant paths. Our experiments show that MPDSE has advantages in generating test cases compared to traditional DSE.

The frequent directions (FD) technique is a deterministic approach for online sketching that has many applications in machine learning. The conventional FD is a heuristic procedure that often outputs rank deficient matrices. To overcome the rank deficiency problem, we propose a new sketching strategy called robust frequent directions (RFD) by introducing a regularization term. RFD can be derived from an optimization problem. It updates the sketch matrix and the regularization term adaptively and jointly. RFD reduces the approximation error of FD without increasing the computational cost. We also apply RFD to online learning and propose an effective hyperparameter-free online Newton algorithm. We derive a regret bound for our online Newton algorithm based on RFD, which guarantees the robustness of the algorithm. The experimental studies demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms state-of-the-art second order online learning algorithms.

The location of broken insulators in aerial images is a challenging task. This paper, focusing on the self-blast glass insulator, proposes a deep learning solution. We address the broken insulators location problem as a low signal-noise-ratio image location framework with two modules: 1) object detection based on Fast R-CNN, and 2) classification of pixels based on U-net. A diverse aerial image set of some grid in China is tested to validated the proposed approach. Furthermore, a comparison is made among different methods and the result shows that our approach is accurate and real-time. Copyright © 2018, The Authors. All rights reserved.

With CACCT, researchers, even those without expert training or diagnostic experience of congenital heart diseases, can identify murine complicated cardiac malformations effectively, including transposition of the great arteries, double‐outlet right ventricle and atypical ventricular septal defect, whose accuracy is equivalent to senior fetal cardiologists.

Many real-world problems can be represented as graph-based learning problems. In this paper, we propose a novel framework for learning spatial and attentional convolution neural networks on arbitrary graphs. Different from previous convolutional neural networks on graphs, we first design a motif-matching guided subgraph normalization method to capture neighborhood information. Then we implement subgraph-level self-attentional layers to learn different importances from different subgraphs to solve graph classification problems. Analogous to image-based attentional convolution networks that operate on locally connected and weighted regions of the input, we also extend graph normalization from one-dimensional node sequence to two-dimensional node grid by leveraging motif-matching, and design self-attentional layers without requiring any kinds of cost depending on prior knowledge of the graph structure. Our results on both bioinformatics and social network datasets show that we can significantly improve graph classification benchmarks over traditional graph kernel and existing deep models. The two-fluid model is considered an advanced two-phase flow model, and it is used in many nuclear design and analysis codes. Most of these codes use upwind scheme to discretize the convection term, and it leads to strong numerical viscosity. The high order scheme, which is developed based on Godunov’s method, can effectively reduce this effect. The discrete scheme for convection flux can be obtained by using a reconstruction function, which is used to approximate the exact solution. In this paper, the piecewise linear function with a limiter, which is used to make the scheme keep TVD, is used as reconstruction function. The high order scheme is applied in two-fluid model, and the verification is carried out. Three numerical benchmark problems, which are faucet flow problem, one dimension sedimentation problem and two dimension sedimentation problem, are calculated. The phase volume fraction propagation is predicted, and the wave includes discontinue points and unsmooth points. The performance of upwind and high order schemes, which are van Leer, MC, min-mod and van Albada 2, is analyzed. The results show that high order schemes perform better than upwind, particularly near the discontinue points and unsmooth points, the numerical diffusion effect of high order scheme is less than upwind. However, in some cases, these schemes are easy to oscillating. © 2016 Association for Computing Machinery Inc. All Rights Reserved.

Maximal Cliques Enumeration (MCE), as a fundamental problem, has been extensively investigated in many fields, such as social networks, and biological science and so forth. However, the existing research works usually ignore the formation principle of maximal cliques which can help us to speed up the detection of maximal cliques in a graph. This paper pioneers a novel problem on detection of bases of maximal cliques in a graph. We propose a formal concept analysis based approach for detecting the bases of maximal cliques and detection theorem. It is believed that our work can provide a new research solution and direction for future topological structure analysis in various complex networking systems. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2017.

Although the genetic algorithm has been widely used in the polarity optimization of mixed polarity Reed- Muller （MPRM） logic circuits, few studies have taken into account the polarity conversion sequence. In order to im- prove the efficiency of polarity optimization of MPRM logic circuits, we propose an efficient and fast polarity optimiza- tion approach （FPOA） considering the polarity conversion se- quence. The main idea behind the FPOA is that, firstly, the best polarity conversion sequence of the polarity set wait- ing for evaluation is obtained by using the proposed hybrid genetic algorithm （HGA）; secondly, each of polarity in the polarity set is converted according to the best polarity con- version sequence obtained by HGA. Our proposed FPOA is implemented in C and a comparative analysis has been pre- sented for MCNC benchmark circuits. The experimental re- suits show that for the circuits with more variables, the FPOA is highly effective in improving the efficiency of polarity op- timization of MPRM logic circuits compared with the tradi- tional polarity optimization approach which neglects the po- larity conversion sequence and the improved polarity opti- mization approach with heuristic technique.

Role-based access control for body area networks using attribute-based encryption in cloud storage

In order to save storage space, the data collected from body area networks can be stored in a third party. However, this may bring security problems. The common method is encrypting data before outsourcing. In this paper, we design a role-based access control scheme (RACS) used in the cloud. Firstly, we classify the data which are collected from body area networks into different types, and use the ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption to encrypt them. Secondly, we divide the ciphertext into two parts, one part is stored in cloud, and the other is in the owner. Different users own different attributes, therefore, they only can access the data when their attributes satisfy the corresponding access structure. The security of medical data is assured in this way. Thirdly, we also add the user revocation to prevent the vicious user from obtaining and modifying the data. Lastly, when the emergency happens, users can obtain the temporary key to access medical data, so as to cure the patients in the first time. We analyze the correctness, security, storage and computation overhead of the scheme. The results show that RACS can resist the ciphertext attack and superior to others in the storage space and computation overhead. © 2017, IJNS. All rights reserved.
