As Micro blogs such as Sina Weibo and Twitter are becoming increasingly popular, a lot of users are benefiting from the convenience of social communication and information sharing. However, untrusted users can take advantage of these sites as gateways to make money, spread rumors and so on. This paper proposes a label propagation algorithm based on the trust model to detect the untrusted users on social networking sites. The algorithm consists of two main steps. Firstly, we conduct a hybrid graph with three types of nodes (users, tweets, topics) to model the trust relationship between each user pair. Secondly, we utilize a new method inspired by the Label Propagation Algorithm to detect more untrusted users based on a small known seed set. We conduct experiments with a real data set, and the evaluation demonstrates the effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability of the proposed solution.

Cyber-physical systems (CPS) consists of distributed computation interconnected by computer networks. Finding a common semantics among these diverse components that facilitate system modeling, synthesis, and verification is a significant challenge of CPS. Aspect oriented method is proposed to model and analyze reliable CPS, Petri nets are used to observe behaviors of basic component, such as device, computation and physical interaction, component and communication process. The reliability assurance strategy of CPS is proposed, aspect orientation is used to weave it into the base net. Based on this, the effectiveness and feasibility of proposed method are analyzed based on the operation semantics of Petri nets. A case study of material balancing system and experimental results demonstrate that the approach can contribute to the improvement of design quality in developing reliable CPS.

Model-based testing has been widely studied to generate test cases from the Finite State Machine (FSM). Due to the limitation of the modeling theory of FSM, it is hard to build a right model for software concurrent behaviors by FSM. Recently, we proposed a theory of test modeling based on regular expressions to construct test models for concurrent systems. To realize and put this theory into practice, we develop a lightweight modeling tool named as Regular-Finite State Machine (RFSM) to support visual modeling with regular expressions. It supports the production of seven operators for describing software behaviors and two methods for constructing the expression model, including the RFSM code editor and the toolbar editor. An algorithm for transforming the model into the extended regular expressions is also introduced.

The language of Live Sequence Chart (LSC), a multi-modal extension of MSC, introduces the distinction between mandatory and possible on the level of the whole chart and for the chart elements. While the LSC still extend the MSC qualitatively, when it comes to capturing the quantitative behaviors, the deficiency emerges. As for the probabilistic systems, i.e., systems that exhibit probabilistic aspects, probabilistic properties are considered as the most important requirements and need to be captured quantitatively. To address this, we propose a requirements description language called pLSC. Supported by the measure theory and the probability theory, the language pLSC describes the interactions quantitatively to suit the probabilistic systems from two dimensions of probabilistic branches and three-stage events. The paper introduces the graphical and textual presentation of the pLSC.

Service software deployed in E-commerce and finance fields needs working under 7*24 houses mode. If any failure occurs, service reconfiguration should be immediately executed to find appropriate services from candidates in order to guarantee the availability of core business. Thus, service software cries for an effective approach to constantly adjust its form for responding to varying user requirements and instable runtime environments. To this end, this paper proposes a probabilistic model checking-based Web service reconfiguration architecture. First, it proposes a predictive Web service monitoring approach based on probabilistic model checking. Second, it gives a Web service dynamic service selection approach which takes compatibility checking into account. The single-source service selection works to execute service replacement, while the multi-source service selection carries out service simulation. Third, it discusses a Web service dynamic reconfiguration verification approach where the Probabilistic Counterexample-Guided Abstraction Refinement (Probabilistic CEGAR) is introduced to alleviate the state space explosion problem.

Graphical User Interface (GUI) provides a popular and convenient way for the user to freely interact with the systems which makes it widely used in various software applications, it has become an important and indispensable part of today's software. Owing to the characteristics of GUIs different from the traditional software, traditional test techniques and methods cannot satisfy the requirements of GUI testing. Modeling and testing of GUIs-based system is a difficult and challenging work. GUIs-based application is an event-driven application. In GUIs, there exist not only the input events and output events, but also the internal events. In this paper, we identify the input events, output events and internal events and propose an approach to modeling and testing of GUIs-based system using the IOLTS, and input events, output events and internal events are also taken into account. Constraints on events and regular expressions on validation of data are given out. The interactions of GUIs are constructed by the corresponding output events. Finally, tests generation and tests instantiation are given out.

The intelligent device and mobile applications has been the growth rapidly. The mobile device and related applications has widely used increasingly. The security and compatibility concern for mobile application is mounting as well. This paper analyzed attributes of security and compatibility corresponding to mobile software testing. The software quality features for security and compatibility is given based on the software quality model. The test methods for security and compatibility are proposed according to test model and requirements for mobile applications. The relevant properties with testing techniques and methods are detailed introduced, which indicates that the test method could be effective for mobile software applications.

Service composition is an important means for integrating the individual Web services for creating new value added systems. However, Web service runs in the heterogeneous environments on the Internet, it is difficult to guarantee the reliability of service composition. To address this problem, we propose a systematic method to model and analyze reliability for service composition. First, we present a formal description language to model the different components of service composition, and use it to analyze the reliability of service composition. Second, we propose reliability assurance strategy to ensure that service composition dynamically meet the required reliability. Third, we present operational semantics and related theories of Petri nets for establishing the correctness of our proposed method. We have also performed a series of simulations to evaluate our proposed approach. Results show that the method can help reveal the structural and behavioral characteristics of service composition, and improve the reliability of service composition.

A concurrent program is intuitively associated with probability. In this paper we propose a platform independent approach, called ProbPP, to analyzing the probabilities on the execution paths of the multithreaded programs. The main idea of ProbPP is to calculate the probabilities on the basis of two kinds of probabilities: Primitive Dependent Probabilities (PDPs) representing the control dependent probabilities among the program statements and Thread Execution Probabilities (TEPs) representing the probabilities of threads being scheduled to execute. We have also conducted two preliminary experiments to evaluate the effectiveness and performance of ProbPP, and the experimental results show that ProbPP can provide engineers with acceptable accuracy. © 2013 IEEE.
