As organizations implement systematic reuse test cases in software testing to improve productivity and quality, they must be able to measure reusability of test case and identify the most effective reuse strategies. This is done with Test Case Reusability Metrics Models(TCRMM). In this article we survey metrics of test case reusability, and provide reusability factors division that will help establish reusability assessment model. It combines four metrics factors into reusability metrics based on analytic hierarchy process. The prominent characteristic of this model is that the process of reusability metric is automated when the judgment matrix has been constructed.

This paper proposes a novel method of Web service selection for the better quality based on environment of dynamic evaluating system. The evaluating system considered the end-user for the quality of service. This QoS evaluation framework which carries out a dynamic method of acquiring the quality data in the Web service composition based on the end-user feeling of web services. The procedure of processing the quality of service is extended quality of single service to multiple factor. Considering the end-user's perception, the distribution of dynamic evaluation can greatly improve the quality of Web service and its composition, which is not just adjusted according to end-user's requirements. A novel service selected algorithm with QoS is also presented in the paper, which chooses the different composition execute path to get optimized quality. Some experiments are illustrated to demonstrate effective. ©2009 IEEE.

Web frameset is used to organize multiple frames and nested framesets to make the layout of some Web pages more identical and bring the development of Web applications easier, which was wildly used in today's Web applications. Web applications can only be accessed through dedicated client systems called Web browsers. The behaviors of Web frameset and Web browser interactions influence the functionalities and navigation of Web applications. In this paper, special care on Web frameset and Web browser interactions is paid and an approach to modeling the Web application's navigation and test generation with Web frameset and browser interactions is proposed. The extended FSM is employed to formalize the navigation models and a FSM-TT (FSM Test-Tree) is constructed. At last, test generation is given out from FSM-TT which satisfies the corresponding coverage criteria. ©2009 IEEE.

Photographs captured with sufficient exposure under low-light conditions are usually blurred if there are moving objects. Under some circumstances, the restoration is challenging because of complicated motion blur such as rotation and distortion. In this paper, we propose a novel method to replace the motion blur objects of blurred image with the corresponding sharp objects of flash image using Poisson interpolation. First, assisted by the sufficient exposure blurred image, we adopt graph-cut to minimize a simple cost function and extract the intensely lightened sharp objects in the flash image. Second, we interpolate the extracted sharp objects into the blurred image, and then remove the remnant blur around the sharp objects through gradient domain Poisson interpolation. Further, a simple method is designed that the user can interactively adjust the brightness and contrast of flash area in the synthetical image. The experiments demonstrate that our algorithms are efficient. © 2009 Copyright SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering.

How to measure reuse capability of a test case is critical in software test reuse research. A dynamic method based on Bayesian network is proposed for measure the reuse of test case. It collects the information of user's searching and reusing test cases, and then analysis the test case's reuse capability which give basis for consulting to users. The prominent characteristic of this method is that the reuse of test case is divided into three aspects in terms of different reuse preference that improve the accuracy of metric. ©2009 IEEE.

E-commerce has been developing rapidly around the world. We run Web application to support e-commerce. Quality of Web applications influences the functionalities and security of e-commerce. Modeling and testing are important to Quality of Web applications. Many researchers are still to find effective ways to model and test Web applications. Formal methods can improve the quality of Web applications. This paper suggests utilizing a formal language (object-z to) describe functional requirement of Web applications. An approach to generating test sequence is introduced in this paper. We analyze formal specification to find out atomic operations and then identify the environment precondition of the operation (EPRE) for each atomic operation. We use EPREs to build an environment Transition Graph (ETG). The steps of transforming an ETG into environment transition sequences are also addressed. Two test adequacy criteria are defined as a guideline for the selection of the test sequences. © 2009 IEEE.

Service composition and related technologies have provided favorable means for building complex Web software systems. It may span multiple organizational units requires particular considerations on trustworthy issues. However, the distributive and heterogeneous characteristics of services make it hard to guarantee trustworthiness of service composition. This paper presents a method for analyzing dynamic trustworthy service composition according to the characteristics and requirements of service composition. Petri nets are used to precisely describe the composition process in order to describe the logic relation between different components. Based on this, the concept of trust matrix is given to represent the relationships between states. A trustworthy service composition strategy and its enforcement method are proposed. A case study of Travel Service demonstrates the feasibility of proposed method. © 2009 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.

In a service-oriented architecture, how to analyze the feasibility of service composition according to the requirements of service consumers has become a problem that must be solved in service composition. A method for analyzing feasibility of requirement driven service composition is proposed. Based on the support function at different stages in the lifecycle of service composition, the composition process is divided into a number of independent function modules, colored Petri nets are used to model for them, meanwhile the QoS properties of services such as price and success probability are considered, the task failure and processing strategies are characterized. Based on this, combining with the requirements of service consumer, the definition of feasibility and a service schedulability strategy are advanced. ASK-CTL is introduced to describe and verify basic properties of model, and the corresponding analysis algorithm is also given. What's more, at the end of this paper, an example was given to simulate analysis process by using CPN Tools. © 2009 IEEE.

With the rapid development of the internet, a lot of attentions have been paid to the reliability of the security protocols. Model checking can be used to obtain the assurance that a protocol can not be threatened by an intruder. In this study, on the basis of former researches, an approach is presented for using efficient and complete formal verification tool SMV to model and verify security protocol, By this approach, we can construct related model easily and verifying the property automatically. We illustrate the approach by taking Otway-Rees protocol as an example and discover an attack upon the protocol. Finally, the protocol is adapted to satisfy the security properties © 2009 Asian Network for Scientific Information.

Towards common acquaintance immunization strategy for complex network

The study presents a new immunization strategy for computer networks and populations with board and, in particular, scale-free degree distributions. The proposed strategy calls for the immunization of common acquaintances of random nodes (individuals). Similar to acquaintance immunization, our strategy also requires no knowledge of the node degrees or any other global information. Firstly, we analyze the successful and unsuccessful probability of acquaintance immunization with a simple example and the strategy ineffective reasons. Then, we study the probability of looking for common neighbors and present common acquaintance immunization strategy. Next, to compare common acquaintance immunization with acquaintance immunization, we implement a series of experiments from different aspects. The result of experiments shows that common acquaintance immunization gains higher stability and reliability for protecting complex network and can detect the structure of the unknown network. The conclusions of the study are that, compared with other immunization strategy, our approach requires no the whole information of complex network and efficiently immunizes the HUBS in complex network. © 2009 Asian Network for Scientific Information.
