Defibrillators use electrical pulses to the heart of patients to make hearts beating normally again. There are mainly 3 types of defibrillators, monophasic wave, biphasic wave, and multipulse biowave. Defibrillator analyzers are designed to calibrate defibrillators, and the pulse energy is an important parameter of defibrillator analyzers. In this manuscript, we use the voltage-resistance method for energy calibration. We need to design a high voltage divider, digitizing module, and data processing project. In the digitizing module, we use both the digital multimeter and the oscilloscope to sample. Making DC voltage measurements is one type of digitizing methods of keysight 3458A, which uses memory of the multimeter. The process project is developed by VB language with 10 Libraries Suite of keysight to implement the function of digitizing and energy calculation. We also choose NI PXI oscilloscope for digitizing, and the oscilloscope can be calibrated by NI Calibration Executive Software. The process project is developed by Lab View. The measurement results by 3458A and PXI-5122 are consistent. We evaluate the uncertainty at the end of this manuscript. © The Institution of Engineering & technology 2024.

In radiation emission measurement, it is necessary to switch different types of measuring antennas or adjust the polarizations of the antennas. Therefore, there is a large risk of measurement data errors in the radiation emission measurement system. However, the current intermediate validation method used for the measurement system is time-consuming and not suitable for frequently checking the system compliance. In this paper, a real-time check method for radiated emission measurement system is proposed to achieve real-time validation of the measurement system during the measurement process. Meanwhile, the influences of the reference signals and electromagnetic wave reflections from the multi-frequency reference source device on measured data are avoided. The accuracy and reliability of the measured data can be ensured. © 2023 IEEE.

A phase correction method based on multi frequency heterodyne principle is proposed for the phase jump error caused by multi frequency heterodyne phase solution. The traditional phase shifting method and multi frequency heterodyne are used to calculate the wrapping phase and the unwrapping phase. Aiming at the jump error in the unwrapping phase, the unwrapping phase is used to locate the error position. The wrapping phase is used as a reference to correct the position of the positioning error to obtain a new unwrapping phase. The experimental results show that under the optimization method, this method can effectively judge the jump, and obtain the unwrapping phase without jump error after eliminating the jump, which greatly improves the unwrapping accuracy and accuracy of the fringe pattern after phase unwrapping. © 2023 SPIE. In this paper, the magnetic field of internal linear motor in the micro compressor is simulated. Through finite element analysis and calculation of the magnetic flux density within the internal air gap of the micro linear motor under the conditions of different air gap width, air gap thickness, magnetic steel thickness and overall radial size of the motor, it is found that the initial setting size is the best size, which can not only meet the premise that the magnetic induction strength is unchanged, but also ensure uniform magnetic field distribution, The size and quality of the compressor are minimized. On the other hand, this study also verifies the rationality of the scaling principle for miniaturization. © 2022 IEEE.

Development of a spatial accuracy compensation method based on multi-beam laser interferometer

A mathematical model has been established for the error associated with the degree of freedom for each motion axis, with a correction applied based on the 12-line method in three-dimensional space. A multi-beam laser interferometer is proposed, which comprises four lasers, where different laser combinations can be used to measure different parameters, ultimately achieving simultaneous measurement of errors for the six degrees of freedom. This has informed the development of a spatial error measurement and accuracy compensation system. The error in the X/Y/Z axis data of the computer numerical control (CNC) machine tool is determined using the multi-beam laser interferometer. Spatial accuracy compensation is achieved by applying a software algorithm, and the positioning accuracy is obtained by measuring the same axis at different spatial coordinate positions to verify correction of the angular error. The experimental results have confirmed that after spatial error compensation, linear positioning accuracy, horizontal and vertical straightness errors were improved by nearly 96%, 89% and 55% respectively;the average and maximum deviations of positioning accuracy were improved by nearly 88% and 91% respectively. © The Author(s) 2025.

On-road tailpipe ammonia (NH3) emissions contribute to urban secondary organic aerosol formation and have direct or indirect adverse impacts on the environment and human health. To understand the tailpipe NH3 emission characteristics, we performed comprehensive chassis dynamometer measurements of NH3 emission from two China 5 and two China 6 light-duty gasoline vehicles (LDGVs) equipped with three-way catalytic converters (TWCs). The results showed that the distance-based emission factors (EFs) were 12.72 ± 2.68 and 3.18 ± 1.37 mg/km for China 5 and China 6 LDGVs, respectively. Upgrades in emission standards were associated with a reduction in tailpipe NH3 emission. In addition, high NH3 EFs were observed during the engine warm-up period in cold-start cases owing to the intensive emissions of incomplete combustion products and suitable catalytic temperature in the TWCs. Notably, based on the instantaneous NH3 emission rate, distinct NH3–emitting events were detected under high/extra high velocity or rapid acceleration. Furthermore, NH3 emission rates correlated well with engine speed, vehicle specific power, and modified combustion efficiency, which were more easily accessible. These strong correlations were applied to reproduce NH3 emissions from China 5/6 LDGVs. The predicted NH3 EFs under different dynamometer and real-world cycles agreed well with existing measurement and prediction results, revealing that the NH3 EFs of LDGVs in urban routes were within 8.55–11.62 mg/km. The results presented here substantially contribute to improving the NH3 emission inventory for LDGVs and predicting on-road NH3 emissions in China.
