In the long-term prediction of battery degradation,the data-driven method has great potential with historical data recorded by the battery management *** paper proposes an enhanced data-driven model for Lithium-ion(Li-ion)battery state of health(SOH)estimation with a superior modeling procedure and optimized *** Gaussian process regression(GPR)method is adopted to establish the data-driven estimator,which enables Li-ion battery SOH estimation with the uncertainty level.A novel kernel function,with the prior knowledge of Li-ion battery degradation,is then introduced to improve the mod-eling capability of the *** for the features,a two-stage processing structure is proposed to find a suitable partial charging voltage profile with high *** the first stage,an optimal partial charging voltage is selected by the grid search;while in the second stage,the principal component analysis is conducted to increase both estimation accuracy and computing *** of the proposed method are validated on two datasets from different Li-ion batteries:Compared with other methods,the proposed method can achieve the same accuracy level in the Oxford dataset;while in Maryland dataset,the mean absolute error,the root-mean-squared error,and the maximum error are at least improved by 16.36%,32.43%,and 45.46%,respectively.

Federated learning is an emerging distributed machine learning technology that allows participants to jointly train machine learning models locally without the need for large-scale data transmission and sharing, thereby greatly improving data security. However, some Byzantine clients may intentionally tamper with local model parameter updates with the intention of manipulating the global model's update direction, which can lead to a decline in the overall performance of federated learning. Besides, existing Byzantine client detection research is conducted in plain text, which will lead to the leakage of private information. To solve the above issues, we propose a Byzantine client detection method for federated learning based on encrypted repeated median linear regression. Specifically, it combines the repeated median linear regression algorithm with homomorphic encryption, which can detect and eliminate clients with Byzantine behavior in the ciphertext state, ensuring the security and reliability of the parameters in the entire federated learning process. Additionally, we also designed an adaptive gradient clipping method based on historical iteration to clip the gradient to a reasonable range, which can not only reduce communication and computing overhead, but also improve the convergence speed and stability of the model. Experiments show that the proposed method can maintain high accuracy under the influence of malicious behavior of Byzantine clients. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s). With the rapid development of Internet technology in recent years, the demand for security support for complex applications is becoming stronger and stronger. Intel Software Guard Extensions (Intel SGX) is created as an extension of Intel Systems to enhance software security. Intel SGX allows application developers to create so-called enclave. Sensitive application code and data are encapsulated in Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) by enclave. TEE is completely isolated from other applications, operating systems, and administrative programs. Enclave is the core structure of Intel SGX technology. Enclave supports multi-threading. Thread Control Structure (TCS) stores special information for restoring enclave threads when entering or exiting enclave. Each execution thread in enclave is associated with a TCS. This paper analyzes and verifies the possible security risks of enclave under concurrent conditions. It is found that in the case of multithread concurrency, a single enclave cannot resist flooding attacks, and related threads also throw TCS exception codes. © 2022 IEEE.

The Multi-access Edge Cloud(MEC) networks extend cloud computing services and capabilities to the edge of the networks. By bringing computation and storage capabilities closer to end-users and connected devices, MEC networks can support a wide range of applications. MEC networks can also leverage various types of resources, including computation resources, network resources, radio resources,and location-based resources, to provide multidimensional resources for intelligent applications in 5/***, tasks generated by users often consist of multiple subtasks that require different types of resources. It is a challenging problem to offload multiresource task requests to the edge cloud aiming at maximizing benefits due to the heterogeneity of resources provided by devices. To address this issue,we mathematically model the task requests with multiple subtasks. Then, the problem of task offloading of multi-resource task requests is proved to be NP-hard. Furthermore, we propose a novel Dual-Agent Deep Reinforcement Learning algorithm with Node First and Link features(NF_L_DA_DRL) based on the policy network, to optimize the benefits generated by offloading multi-resource task requests in MEC networks. Finally, simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the benefit of task offloading with higher resource utilization compared with baseline algorithms.

Event extraction in rail transit plays a vital role in all stages of design, construction, and final acceptance. Event extraction is a key part of building event logic graph (ELG). However, the difficulty in obtaining semantic features and event local dependencies poses a challenge to accurate event extraction, which hinders the informatization and intelligent development of rail transit projects. To address these challenges, we proposes an event extraction method that fuses semantic and local dependency features. The study initially preprocesses the rail transit design codes dataset and performs sequence labeling. Then, the event trigger words are mined by combining the term frequency-inverse document frequency (TF-IDF) and minimum edit distance (MED) algorithms. Based on the semantic similarity measurement method and the trigger word mining results, the features representation of event semantic information is enhanced by using the Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) model and Bi-directional Long Short-Term Memory (BiLSTM) model. At the same time, event arguments are mined and a local dependency graph is generated based on their mining results, and then the enhanced local dependency features are obtained by using the graph convolutional network (GCN). Finally, the event semantic features and local dependency features are fused, and the conditional random field (CRF) is used to predict the labels to obtain the event extraction results. Through the comparison with five baseline methods on the datasets of rail transit design codes, it is found that the Precision, Recall, and F1 score of the proposed method are improved, with an average improvement of 9.604% on Precision, 9.342% on Recall, and 9.730% on F1 score, respectively. The contribution of the sub-modules to the overall performance is further evaluated through ablation experiments, which confirms the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method. © 2024 IEEE.

Short video platforms have become an essential part of people's daily lives, while also facing the challenge of the rapid spread of fake news. Therefore, the detection of fake news in short videos has attracted increasing attention. Existing works mostly focus on the integration of textual and visual content, but fail to fully exploit multi-modal information at both fine-grained and coarse-grained levels. Moreover, multi-modal fake news detection is vulnerable to modality ambiguity due to potential conflicts or weak correlations between different modalities. In this paper, we propose a Multi-grained and Multi-modal fusion for Short video Fake news Detection (MMSFD). We encode textual and visual content using pre-trained models at both fine-grained and coarse-grained levels and fuse them through distinct branches. To tackle the ambiguity issue, we design a multi-modal fusion branch based on similarity weighting, as well as separate single-modal branches. Additionally, this paper presents a cross-modal attention mechanism for adaptively aggregating and reweighting features. The experimental results on a real-world short video dataset demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms state-of-the-art short video fake news detection methods. © 2024 IEEE.

The proliferation of the Internet and the emergence of social media platforms have greatly accelerated the speed and scope of information dissemination, while also introducing the peril of fake news propagation, particularly in political, economic, health, and other domains. Many scholars have conducted research on fake news detection, and most of this research focuses on domain-specific single-domain fake news detection or mixed-domain detection without considering domain information. Most existing multi-domain fake news detection approaches model the domains of fake news implicitly and do not pay attention to the domain seesaw phenomenon. To solve the above problems, this paper proposes a Star Topology Multi-Domain Fake News Detection Model (StarMFND), which explicitly models the domains of fake news using a star topology, and simultaneously leverages the data from all the domains to obtain the common and specific features associated with fake news across different domains. Experiments on Chinese and English datasets demonstrated the good performance of StarMFND for multi-domain fake news detection. © 2024 IEEE.

Polarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radar (PolSAR) images have attracted much attention with abundant polarimetric scattering information. In recent years, many deep learning models have been proposed and highly expanded to PolSAR image classification. However, how to learn the complex matrix information is an indispensable problem. To address this problem, a Wishart Deeplab network is developed, which can not only learn the polarimetric matrix structure by designing Wishart network level but also learn multi-scale polarimetric scattering features by incorporating dilated convolution. Specifically, the Wishart-Deeplab based PolSAR classification model is constructed by designing the Wishart convolution operation to learn the statistical information of PolSAR data. Then, a deeplabV3 + network is followed to obtain the multi-scale semantic features by dilated convolution. By this way, statistical distrubtion-based and high-level semantic features are adaptively learned to improve the performance of the network. Slot filling and intent detection are two highly correlated tasks in spoken language understanding (SLU). Recent SLU research attempts to explore zero-shot prompting techniques in large language models to alleviate the data scarcity problem. Nevertheless, the existing prompting work ignores the cross-task interaction information for SLU, which leads to sub-optimal performance. To solve this problem, we present the pioneering work of Cross-task Interactive Prompting (CroPrompt) for SLU, which enables the model to interactively leverage the information exchange across the correlated tasks in SLU. Additionally, we further introduce a multi-task self-consistency mechanism to mitigate the error propagation caused by the intent information injection. We conduct extensive experiments on the standard SLU benchmark and the results reveal that CroPrompt consistently outperforms the existing prompting approaches. In addition, the multi-task self-consistency mechanism can effectively ease the error propagation issue, thereby enhancing the performance. We hope this work can inspire more research on cross-task prompting for SLU. © 2025 IEEE.

In the low light image enhancement, single exposure images contains a limited dynamic range, which hinders the restoration of contrast and texture. To address these problems, we propose a multi exposure generation and fusion method (MEGF) which simulates multi exposure images and perform feature fusion and enhancement on these images. First, we propose a Multi-Exposure Generation (MEG) method, which constructs the Gaussian Distribution for each exposure level based on multi exposure datasets. MEG can generate images with different exposure levels based on the constructed distribution. Then, the Perceptual Importance based Multi-Exposure Feature Enhancement (PIMEFE) block is developed to fuse the feature of generated multi exposure images using VGG-16 network. Before fusion, the generated images are input to Multi Scale Recursive Feature Enhancement (MSRFE) blocks and obtain the denoised and enhanced features. Finally, the fused feature are input to Curve Adjustment (CA) block for fine tuning and provide the color enhancement on fusion features. We propose the Multiple Exposure Recursive Fusion (MERF) block which estimates the adjusting factors for CA block. Experimental results demonstrate that our method outperforms other techniques in both subjective and objective evaluations on real and synthetic datasets.
