High-definition(HD)maps are key components that provide rich topologic and semantic information for decision-making in vehicle autonomous driving systems.A complete ground orthophoto is usually used as the base image to construct the HD *** ground orthophoto is obtained through inverse perspective transformation and image *** the image mosaicing,multiple consecutive orthophotos are stitched together using pose information and image *** this study,wavelet transform is introduced to the image mosaicing process to alleviate the information loss caused by image *** the orthophoto wavelet transform,high-frequency and low-frequency components are fused using different strategies to form a complete base image with clearer local *** results show that the accuracy of the orthophotos generated using this method is improved.

Black phosphorus (BP) has recently attracted significant interest in gas sensing because of its outstanding electronic and optical properties. In this paper, we demonstrated a series of gas sensors for detecting NH3 at room temperature that were based on BP nanosheets that were exfoliated for various durations. The BP nanosheet gas sensors showed excellent sensitivity for the detection of NH3 down to 100 ppb (~32%) under ambient conditions compared to previous reports. The BP nanosheets that were exfoliated for 60 min showed the highest response to 100 ppm NH3, namely, 121%, which was 2.5 times greater than the response of ground BP. The corresponding sensor also exhibited a stable response in the humidity range of 22% RH to 35% RH, which is the typical humidity range for non-rainy days. Moreover, the prepared NH3 gas sensor showed high selectivity, fast response and recovery, and excellent repeatability. According to various experimental and theoretical studies, the response and binding energy of BP towards NOx were higher than those towards NH3. However, very interestingly, the response of the exfoliated BP nanosheets to NH3 was higher than that to NOx in our work. The selectivity transformation from NOx to NH3 was mainly caused by the different layer spacing of the ground BP and the change in spacing between the BP nanosheet layers with different exfoliation times, increased oxygen incorporation, phosphate ions and defects that is induced by the liquid-phase exfoliation process, which led to the variations in its band gap and surface states. © 2022, The Authors. Simulators play a crucial role in autonomous driving, offering significant time, cost, and labor savings. Over the past few years, the number of simulators for autonomous driving has grown substantially. However, there is a growing concern about the validity of algorithms developed and evaluated in simulators, indicating a need for a thorough analysis of the development status of the simulators. To bridge the gap in research, this paper analyzes the evolution of simulators and explains how the functionalities and utilities have developed. Then, the existing simulators are categorized based on their task applicability, providing researchers with a taxonomy to swiftly assess a simulator’s suitability for specific tasks. Recommendations for select simulators are presented, considering factors such as accessibility, maintenance status, and quality. Recognizing potential hazards in simulators that could impact the confidence of simulation experiments, the paper dedicates substantial effort to identifying and justifying critical issues in actively maintained open-source simulators. Moreover, the paper reviews potential solutions to address these issues, serving as a guide for enhancing the credibility of simulators. Copyright © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The multi-energy system (MES) takes into account different forms of energy such as electricity, heat, and gas, and coordinate the different processes from the side of supply to demand. It truly realizes the mutual complementation of multiple energy resources and can greatly improve the flexibility and efficiency compared to traditional energy systems. In this paper, we study the economic dispatch (ED) problem in the MES aiming to minimize both generation and pollution cost. A distributed method via the symmetric alternating direction multiplier method (symmetric-ADMM) is proposed to deal with non-convex factors caused by coupling between different energy sources. Through the dynamic consensus mechanism and the variational inequality, we prove that the proposed algorithm has the convergence rate of $\mathcal{O}\left( {\fracsystem{t}} \right)$. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified by simulations on the IEEE 24-bus system.

In this paper, we analyze the response of passive quantum linear systems in a non-Markovian environment to single photon input fields. Based on an augmented modelling method for non-Markovian quantum systems, analytic forms of output intensity and output covariance function in steady-state are derived. These results allow us to quantitatively analyze the influence of non-Markovian environment on system response under a framework of linear system theory.

This paper demonstrates the design and fabrication of three-dimensional(3 D) hexagonally ordered microbowl arrays(MBAs) decorated with Cu In S2 nanosheets for enhanced photoelectrochemical(PEC) performance. The 3 D MBAs are fabricated by a micro-fabrication technique. The ultrathin CuInS2 nanosheets are grown on the 3 D electrodes by solvothermal transformation of Cu film. The photocurrent density of 3 D photocathode(CuInS2@MBAs) is about two times higher than that of the planar counterpart(CuInS2@Planar). The improved PEC performance can be ascribed to the elevated light trapping ability and the increased surface area for loading photocatalysts. In addition, CdS quantum dots as cocatalysts are modified onto the Cu In S2 nanosheets to further enhance the PEC activity because the formed p-n heterojunction can accelerate the separation of photogenerated carriers. As a result, the 3 D photocathode of CuInS2/CdS@MBAs shows an optimal incident photon to current efficiency of 10% at the wavelength of400 nm. It is believed that this work can be generalized to design other hierarchical 3 D photoelectrodes for improved solar water splitting.

Genetic algorithm (GA) is an effective method for path planning problems. As a powerful variant of GA, island genetic algorithm (IGA) has considerable improvement in performance. In this paper, a new island model of GA is proposed to avoid the premature phenomenon and achieve better efficiency. First, a new method of creating subpopulations is presented based on K-means to expand the searching area for the optima. Meanwhile, recombining subpopulations is proposed as a new strategy to improve the diversity of populations and save computational time. Moreover, a method is designed based on Monte Carlo sampling to handle the uncertainty of maps. Comparative experiments are presented to verify the efficiency of the proposed algorithm. Then, a proper number of samples is found by simulation to balance the accuracy and the time cost of Monte Carlo sampling.

To improve support system for subjects with respiratory ailments, this work analyses the respiratory patterns from spirometer and surface electromyography (sEMG). The patterns are integrated with risk and biochemical systems model to optimise the clinical decision support system (CDSS). The work considers terminal events for the spirometer and sEMG. The events and their associated patterns are correlated and projected on a hyperspace prior implementing it in decision support system. The proposed method shows that the different characteristics of breathing indicate some essential hidden information which when used as 4D scattered projection, optimises the decision making in CDSS. The analysis shows the effectiveness of bimodal respiratory patterns for different breathing capacities, which is promising for the modelled conditions.

We study the problem of resilient average consensus for multi-agent systems with misbehaving nodes. Different from the widely investigated Mean-Subsequence-Reduced-based and detection-isolation-based approaches which guarantee consensus, in this paper, we address this problem by detecting misbehaviors, mitigating corresponding impact and achieving accurate average consensus. General types of misbehaviors are considered, including deception attacks and accidental faults. We characterize the disturbances of misbehaving nodes in a distributed manner via two-hop communication information and develop a deterministic detection-compensation-based consensus (D-DCC) algorithm with a decaying fault-tolerant error bound. Considering scenarios where such information is intermittently available, a stochastic extension named S-DCC is proposed. We prove that D-DCC and S-DCC allow nodes to asymptotically achieve average consensus exactly and in expectation, respectively. Finally, extensive simulations verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.

Multi-camera vehicle tracking (MCVT) system is a key technology to build an intelligent city and intelligent transportation system. The MCVT system utilizes roadside monitoring devices and computing platforms to achieve city-level road traffic perception at a finer scale by tracking each vehicle on the road to obtain the trajectory. The existing MCVT system mainly focuses on dealing with the algorithm modules separately, without studying the real-time performance and system architecture of the entire pipeline. However, in real-world applications, many of the tricks in improving evaluation metrics are not applicable since there is endless traffic flow running all the time. Therefore, this paper proposes a real-time framework of the MCVT system to streamline all the algorithm modules with proper data flow. Firstly, a multi-threaded multi-vehicle tracking (MVT) module is developed to detect vehicles in each camera. Re-identification is implemented during MVT to provide the feature for tracking in the same camera and across different cameras. Then, after the vehicle leaves the camera field of view, the feature of vehicle trajectory is calculated by averaging the feature at each frame. Meanwhile, a background thread runs continuously to match the incoming feature of vehicle trajectory with past features by conducting a topology searching method. In the end, the vehicle trajectories with well-matched features are considered to be the same vehicle. The entire pipeline has been validated on two different datasets, the precision is 0.64 in the CityFlow dataset which uses 6 cameras simultaneously. In the customized dataset, the same method can still reach real-time when using 16 cameras at the same time with smaller network modules.
