In order to ensure high quality of service (QoS) for Next Generation Network (NGN), we construct an innovative Load-Balanced Multipath Self-routing Switching Structure which consists of the same two multipath self-routing fabrics. The result of simulation is inspiring for achieving 100% throughput and no delay or jitter. For this reason, we start on the implementation on an Altera StratixIV FPGA. And the whole FPGA system is designed into two collab.rative components: the UDP system and the register system. With two algorithms around input and output two stages, incoming traffic is transformed into uniformity and then to their final destinations. During the later period debugging, software simulation platform and automated test platform are built, which contribute to our work very much. At last, we carry out several experiments to test and verify our system. The report of the test result accords with what we expected.

With the prevalence of web-based learning, the application of concept mapping, as a powerful diagnostic and instructional tool, has been widely exploited in both education and computer science. In recent years, several methods have been presented toautomatically construct concept map that achieved encouraging results, while ignoring some critical issues when applied in actual E-learning system. In this paper,we propose a practical approach for constructing concept map,which is adapted tothe dynamic character of a real ***, we apply fuzzy set theory and fuzzy reasoning basis on fuzzy rules for similarity degree between twoconcepts, tofind direct prerequisite relationship among concepts. In distributed storage systems, a data file is encoded and distributed to storage nodes, such that the data file can be recovered from some subsets of the nodes. Upon the failure of a storage node, we want to repair it efficiently by contacting and downloading some encoded bits from a small number of surviving nodes. Using projective-geometric self-repairing codes (PSRC), proposed by Oggier and Datta, one can repair a failed node by contacting only two nodes. However, in their construction, the number of storage nodes in the storage system is a large number, and thus the storage efficiency is low. In this paper, we investigate how to be more flexible in the number of storage nodes. The proposed code in this paper is called general projective geometric self-repairing codes (GPSRC). GPSRC reduces high redundancy of PSRC, while retains the basic property of PSRC. We present some methods for repairing a failed node, in which the number of contacted surviving nodes is flexible. These repairing methods provide tradeoff between repair-degree and repair-bandwidth.

This paper presents an efficient hardware prototype for network coding (NC). First, a packet synchronization mechanism is introduced to settle the problem of packet arriving mismatch between different incoming channels. Then a high-speed lookup-table-based circuit is designed to perform dot product over Galois Field, which forms the basic calculation unit of NC operation. Taking the speed advantage of FPGA hardware, this prototype is able to perform network coding operations within several hundred nanoseconds. Thus further studies and emulations on NC are able to be carried out upon this platform in the real network scenario.
